ARIES: …It’s an important time to check in with yourself, Saturn really demands you define the objective for yourself – what is worth the effort, because it knows how much effort is really going to be required to get you where you are heading. What is worth it and what is it worth are other questions weighing on you subjectively. What do you really want to achieve? Saturn will take away everything, (well, from whatever Pluto has left anyway) to make you really determine what you want and focus on it exclusively. This is a transit that lasts through the end of 2020, to be exact, and it will be over the next few years you really define on your own terms what you are really willing to work for, shedding all superfluous ideas, projects and associations that do not serve this singular objective…

TAURUS: …Professionally there will likely be some ups and downs. Mars retrograde impacts your professional sphere and indicates you either start something you can’t finish and have to start all over again or simply start off on a whole new course, in September or October. South Node in transit here suggests this is not the area in which you will experience the most opportunity for growth, but rather are accepting the Karmic implications of what you built up in the past 9 – 18 years, and this could be particularly frustrating during the three Mars – South Node conjunctions that occur. Use those feelings instructively to find within yourself what you don’t like about your present circumstances, then plan to make changes next year, when you’ll find those constraints are lifted and you have more freedom of movement to build up the career you really want…

GEMINI: …Saturn and Pluto occupy the arena of transformation and occult matters for the next several years, shifting focus to internal and psychological issues. There can be startling revelations made through an intimate partnership, and an intense atmosphere may prevail. With Saturn in this position you are called upon to identify matters of trust and security either through a close relationship, like a marriage, or through a financial or lending institution, bank or even an inheritance. This relationship requires a lot of work and definition, and finding the middle ground is crucial now. Also in terms of trust and the entity of a partnership beyond yourself and learning to create this trust through intimacy and an ongoing commitment to a person, or in some cases a business partner or lender. There is a question and confrontation to accountability, can we rely on each other? Have we cultivated enough trust between us to endure? Saturn and Pluto will conjunct in January 2020, so this will represent a really meaningful turning point in your relationship or regarding a business merger. You may sign a significant contract or marry at this time…

CANCER: …Both Mars, which will retrograde back into your area of partnership in mid August – mid September and then Venus, which will retrograde in Scorpio in October – mid November, will feature karmic overtones and could suggest either reconciling, renewing or reviewing (or all three in no particular order!) your commitments and love relationships. As always it’s possible circumstances pull you apart and while separated you may consider where your affection truly lies. It’s really when you are separated from someone true feelings are revealed. Do you miss them and yearn for them, or do you realize you were in a marriage of convenience, simply indulging in the companionship of another human being? A period of being away could see such considerations being contemplated. This period lasts through nearly the end of the year with a reunion or commitment in store for those who have built bonds that were made to last…

LEO: …This year is going to provide some challenges in the relational realm, as Mars, due to it’s retrograde will make a lengthy tour in your house of pairing and sharing. Three full contacts to the South Node will occur, and you may feel a strong sense of being limited in your personal expression through your relationship or otherwise undergo a strong sense of nostalgia for a lost love. The dates of June 8th, July 21st and September 26th are all to be carefully observed, as these are the ones on which the transits occur. It’s not unlikely someone from your past springs back on the scene, and as you likely have an unfinished karmic storyline with this person, you might just jump in and pick up where you left off. It’s important to acknowledge the limitation of this relationship, that you are probably just resolving unfinished business, which is fine, but that equally, if you are currently in a good relationship, to entertain the notion of getting back together with this long lost love is going to have a severe and detrimental effect on the relationship you are in now…

VIRGO: …After years of struggle to get on your feet and through these trials having successfully established a secure home base for yourself, you will find a far more amenable atmosphere prevails throughout 2018. Issues with family members or finding an appropriate or permanent residence for yourself have found resolution and you are ready to embark on new and more satisfying experiences. You have provided yourself with a durable base of operations and can now expand. This could be through a love relationship that gets serious, becoming a parent, or through artistic mastery in a creative medium. The next leg of your journey will take you until the end of 2020. As Saturn transits Capricorn, you will feel more mature and readily take on more responsibility. Jupiter from Scorpio will provide assistance, helping you build a social circle with people you can express your vision and connecting you to your true love. Where relationships may have come up short over the last several years, you find yourself in new territory and can make a more lasting and meaningful connection now…

LIBRA: …This could come in the form of genuine material abundance, but it also has a great deal to with a newly found self confidence and how you have learned to value yourself. When you believe you have something important to offer and an understanding of what distinguishes you from the crowd, you can ask and expect more for what you are bringing to the table, right? Jupiter in Libra tuned you into this awareness, and now as you move forward, you can incorporate more in the form of assets and even wealth. The collaboration of Jupiter and Pluto (dates aforementioned) can indicate phenomenal success, and so much of it has to do with having relinquished negativity that may have been present through your early conditioning and learning self value. You’ll see this as early as the first few weeks of January, and very potent awards will be present throughout the year professionally, but especially in regard to income and rewards of a material nature. The Venus retrograde phase complicates this for you substantially in the final months of the year, but by December all entanglements should be resolved. With Scorpio implicated (as the ruler of your second house), your personal finances tend to be tied up with other people, and there could be situations where lines need to get drawn with business partners or a spouse…

SCORPIO: …During the Venus retro phase (October 6 – November 16) you will likely be called upon to resolve an issue from the past that was not satisfactorily reconciled previously. This is likely to be a very private matter, and the month of November looks to be best spent in reflection and tying up loose ends. A fantastic romantic and creative atmosphere prevails in December, so you’ll get there, just give it the appropriate time and space to make your endings. Venus from your sign squares the nodes, and you are currently reaching a milestone and significant turning point in your career. It could be that you have feelings to examine regarding your own self worth and image, and how comfortable you feel with the role you have taken on socially and in your professional sphere. If you are not comfortable with that image or role, you will need to correct it now and make sure it is an authentic representation of you and not a mask you wear for the masses. The aspect also demonstrates changes within the domestic realm, perhaps you have left home or are reconfiguring your personal life to meet the demands of your career and there can be nostalgia for what you left behind…

SAGITTARIUS: …The dream world holds an important key for you this year, your subconscious is vitalized and intuition is very strong with Jupiter in Scorpio. Working in guided meditation with quartz crystals and amethyst in particular can help you develop these faculties and learn to trust your inner guidance. The home environment is a powerful place to cultivate a practice and it will be very important to you to have peace in your domestic realm so that you can tune in (rater than tune out) to the vibrational energy that you are raising. A negative living situation will make you want to shut down your receptivity (because you are trying to block out the noise or toxicity of your environment) and this would be a terrible loss right now, as you have so much to gain from and experience through being completely open to the subjective realm. Jupiter collaborating with Neptune (Dec. 2, 2017; May 25, Aug. 19, 2018) really enhances your potential for a deeply spiritual and psychological breakthrough…

CAPRICORN: …From mid May, Uranus will edge off, easing the abrasive conflicts you have experienced in your domestic and personal life since early 2011. You have endured unusual conditions and unanticipated (generally unwanted) upheavals, but on the flip you have likely gained some much needed independence in regard to your property and/or residential situation, and an experimental vibe has helped you gravitate to living arrangements that feel more authentic to you. The Uranus trine from Taurus will be completely invigorating, generating just the right current of electricity to keep things buzzing and interesting, without knocking you on your ass like the Uranus square from Aries. You are starting to get on your feet again now, though this year is just a taste of what’s in store, as Uranus will spend November 2018 – March 2019 back in Aries, and then finally settle into Taurus through April 2026 after that…

AQUARIUS: …There is incredible growth and potential in the professional realm this year, though you might be doing a lot of your work and making progress behind the scenes. Ambiguity surrounding your finances, such as temporary sources of income, or vague commitments from employers or clients see some remedy, and you will find you can command bigger salaries and commissions, especially if you work in a creative, visionary or spiritual capacity. May 25th and August 19th both mark a positive influx, and you can make progress at these times. Inspiration will be triggered, and you can turn a vision into reality now, and make lucrative gains as a result. The Venus retrograde (October 6th – November 16th) could potentially have an undermining effect on your gains or progress and will likely signify a period of having to revise or regroup a professional enterprise, or during which you may reconsider your life direction entirely. By December matters resume clarity, and you can find incredible success. It turns out a few more finishing touches or a bit more effort has a remarkable upside that effects your public image and prosperity in a very positive way…

PISCES: …This is additionally enhanced by the presence of Saturn in Capricorn, since December of 2017. From it’s prior position in Sagittarius, there was a great deal of frustration, and while great growth came from that period, there is also this constant grating feeling of coming up short or not being good enough when Saturn is enmeshed in these difficult alignments to you personal planets or other chart factors. Saturn does deliberately work this way to make you strive to be better. Pisces has seen a dramatic rearrangement of priorities, and made numerous adjustments. Consider it like passing a test. Fortunately this one won’t happen again for another 29 years. You can enjoy a more active social life this year, and find that relationships are deepening and becoming very meaningful to you. You may find some relationships come to an end, and that your focus shifts down to just a few key people. People with whom you share an age difference could play a role, or you could notice there is a more mature quality present within your interactions with others…

STARGAZER FORECAST SEPTEMBER 2016

TURNING POINTS – CROSSING THE THRESHOLD TO A NEW LIFE

A significant turning point in September is largely defined by the Saturn – Neptune square, with the stakes and potential for transformation amplified by two very intense eclipses, falling in Virgo (September 1st) and Pisces (September 16th). Late November of 2015 saw the first aspect occur, the onset of a challenge associated within the manifestation of an ideal (or otherwise the realization of an illusion) that has been pervasive throughout most of the year. The final culmination (September 10th) will show how well we have navigated the confrontation that emerged, and whether or not the attainment of the ideal has been successful. In order to do this we have likely had to overcome something, or prove our dedication. Saturn has a back to basics quality that requires a certain mettle and staunch determination that likely described what was required to overcome the challenge(s) presented. Much has been stripped away in order to complete this task. The reality check here was to really evaluate and define what is real (difficult under the gauzy-hazy auspices of the Neptune square) and work with what we actually have, in order to create that which could possibly be.

Neptune’s impulses come from a etherial and creative place that stimulates divine inspiration. Saturn demanded that the inspiration be crystalized into some kind of workable and tangible form. Jupiter from Virgo added emphasis to the material realm, and gave us some beneficial tools to work with, assisting us in finding new methods to stimulate productivity. Health and wellness have also been a focus, with the North Node pointing us toward an evolutionary path that shows us better ways to manage well being. Finding the right life management patterns has a positive and outward effect on all else going on with us and around us. Feeling good most certainly boosts our availability to be present, both for generating the endurance that is required as we work toward successful outcomes as well as to meet the demands of more critical challenges as they inevitably occur.

The eclipses this month represent a real shake up, and may prove severe testing points for the durability of the structures we have developed or the path to the future we wish to sow. September 1st can be volatile, as our 9 Virgo eclipse falls right in the cross hairs of the culminating Saturn – Neptune square, which is already strong enough by the end of August to clearly be felt. A Solar Eclipse represents a moment for monumental growth forward and engagement of a new opportunity, and while this will certainly be no exception, this particular prospect is inhibited by the ongoing challenges Saturn – Neptune represent. It’s also possible an event or insight that occurs around this time provides the necessary breakthrough or catalyst through which we find the solution to a sizable conflict. With the Eclipse ruler (using Mercury as the traditional ruler of Virgo) in detriment because it is retrograde, it’s going to take an extra bit of sorting through to get there. (Bookmark October 6th as the place where everything can begin to fall into place, at least on an organizational level.) Sun conjunct North Node on September 5th will provide clearer directives that illuminate the pathway to the future.

PISCES ECLIPSE 9/16:

pisces eclipse

While the Solar Eclipse may be vexing, mainly because of the impediments to that which we seek to get off the ground, it’s really the Lunar Eclipse at 24 Pisces on the 16th that packs the punch. Lunar eclipses signal endings, and with Mars in hard aspect, square both Sun and Moon, it could be an ending that comes out of an argument or disagreement. Saying goodbye is always more difficult under the auspices of a bad break or burning a bridge, and there is a rather hostile and contentious atmosphere at this time. It could equally be that a significant culmination occurs that someone on the sidelines disapproves of and responds to argumentatively or aggressively. An ethical or legal dispute can also present an issue or conflict around this period.

Moon and Chiron in Pisces will also be close at the time of the Eclipse, and there can be a healing release connecting back to events last March. Letting go of pain, and perhaps more significantly, the idea we have to continue putting energy into a situation out of feelings of sympathy – as opposed to a genuine desire to participate, are also significant topics of the eclipse that seek resolution. This also ties into feelings of personal self worth, or a lack there of, that keeps us tenuously bound to unhealthy or unsatisfying relationships or conditions. This will be a potent time in which to evaluate these feelings and make an effort to resolve these issues where we find them to be present. Sensitivity will be heightened immensely at this time, so take it real easy if you are naturally empathic/intuitive. In the following days, the Aries Moon rejuvenates and from September 17 – 19, Venus, Mars and Uranus all align playfully, igniting a really fun and dynamic ambience for love, pleasure and sex, especially where you are ready to try something, or even someone, new.

Mercury retrograde (August 30 – September 22) underscores the dynamic atmosphere of the month, in some ways muddling the proceedings, but also ensuring we get it right, so we can move forward with clarity and conviction into the incredibly advantageous final quarter of the year. Mercury has two significant accomplices during the RX cycle, Jupiter and Pluto, which will actually stimulate a very positive ambience for growth through the conversations and negotiations that will take place throughout September. Jupiter, with which Mercury remains in very close communication with from August 20 – September 5th, infuses communication and thinking with hope and optimism for the future. From Virgo, refinement of a concept or the methods we engage in order to manifest it are highlighted. The combination of the two augurs good will and expansion. So towards the end of August we are generating big and exciting ideas, and making very positive strides within communication based activities.

Mercury then takes a step back to reevaluate the grand design it’s working on, spending the final two weeks of September in harmonious alignment with Pluto, the period from the 20th – 23rd signaling the peak of their contact. The cosmic messenger takes the bold ideas it formed with Jupiter and intensifies them through the connection with Pluto, ensuring these prospects and activities augment and enhance the deeper transformation that is occurring in our lives. The modification that transpires now is crucial and will boost our chances at success, so don’t feel deterred if things seem to be taking a while to get sorted. Important information has yet to be revealed and Virgo – Mercury seeks to establish a methodology that will generate the best results. This does not necessarily indicate a loss of momentum, just a period of reassessment that will likely be very busy as we attend to numerous details!

Look to developments that occurred in March and June (when Jupiter and Pluto were trine) as we are currently in the process of articulating and manifesting the goals and opportunities represented by those contacts. This period from the 20th – 23rd is when the most vital conversations will occur, with Mercury turning direct on the 22nd, we pivot towards a new agenda directly out of the agreements and discussions taking place at this vital and significant time. Mercury will combine forces emphatically with Jupiter at 7 Libra for a third time on October 11th, and it will be all systems go on the relationship, lifestyle and enterprise from there.

With Jupiter in Libra from the 10th, we shift from the learning phase of the last year into a climate ripe for initiative and new beginnings. Jupiter in Libra will emphasize creating balanced relationships between ourselves and others, and offer expansive opportunities through relating, especially within artistic and intellectual activities. Jupiter will engage with Pluto and Uranus this year, encouraging a more diplomatic response to the more volatile and abrasive confrontations we have endured since 2012. Partnerships will thrive, as the Sun – Jupiter conjunction (Sep. 26th) and Libra New Moon on the 30th will quickly attest to. Venus in Libra through September 23rd sets the tone, stimulating amenable social conditions and the cultivation of connections that will enhance prosperity and growth.

The ambience really gets a jolt at the end of the month, as Pluto resumes direct motion on the 26th and Mars enters Capricorn the following day. An executive and professional atmosphere prevails and our most determined efforts and conviction towards success become stimulated. A persevering quality is present through mid November, and makes this a good period in which to tackle a tough project or challenge you can completely immerse yourself within, particularly if it leads to promotion and advancement. (Mars conjunct Pluto and square Jupiter in October will really amplify the desire to succeed, perhaps at any cost!) With so many challenges otherwise overcome, and the tumultuous back and fourth we’ve experienced so far this year, by the time we reach the Fall Equinox (Sept. 22nd) a new beginning transpires that signals the turning point we have all been waiting for. Things get better from here on out, as we enter the most productive and positive quarter of the year, which in many ways will seem like it’s only beginning. Happy Autumn Time, I hope it will be most magical for you!

Pluto direct on the 26th and Mars from your sign the following day boost your charisma enormously, what ever frustration or delay you may have experienced so far this year, the time is right to make your boldest and biggest moves. Professionally you get a big boost from the 23rd, as positive influences help remedy some of the more abrasive challenges that have underscored your career quest for most of the year. Socially this remains a vibrant and exciting period, with Venus and Jupiter both stimulating genuine feel good vibes for you, and the weekend of the 17th an incredibly potent period for love and relationship building, you can anticipate some fun and revelry as well.

PISCES: It can be a volatile if not life changing month for the Fishes, with a huge culmination or meeting with destiny on the cards, particularly in regard to a key relationship. Partnerships are evolving at incredible speed right now, (look to the dates of both eclipses for crucial events) and even with a Mercury retrograde muddying the water, where you wind up at the end of this transformational month is going to look a whole lot different for you than where it began! With the dankness of the Saturn – Neptune square coming to closure, you will begin to see more clearly in the near future who or what your heart truly seeks. Thunderbolts and unexpected meetings or developments are stimulated, and the revelation of a soul mate connection is possible that leads you there. A conflict mid month can trigger professional anxiety or restlessness. Use the very positive days that follow (September 17th – 19th) to make financial inroads and grow your prosperity and reputation. A positive attitude will take you very far.

Solstice Forecast – Stargazer Summer

Summer begins on an auspicious note, as Jupiter and the North Node reach a second conjunction at 15 Virgo on the 21st. Very positive developments can occur now, as assistance and luck can be present in our evolutionary endeavors that set us on course for bigger and better opportunities ahead. Jupiter trine Pluto Sunday June 26th expands upon this opportunity, as good fortune and optimism stimulate a longer range transformation that has been occurring. Dreams and objectives that unfold in the large scale can manifest now. Look back to the activities and enterprises you engaged with early October of last year as well as in March. Initiative you have taken can now trigger really expansive opportunities that allow you to completely change your life for the better.

Mars is direct from Wednesday June 28th. After 2 1/2 months of misdirection and thwarted agendas, we can begin to put things into motion and move forward. From the depths of Scorpio, we are all considering/reconsidering our closest alliances, and matters of intimacy and establishing emotional trust have been a rather intensive subject for the last several weeks. Saturn traveled a substantial part of it’s retrograde last Summer in this precise area of the zodiac, so if you are feeling a sense of de ja vous, or that the topics, obstacles and delays of that period are being revisited, you are right on with that intuition. With Mars now direct and finalizing it’s journey through Scorpio through July, there is energy on hand to tackle an ongoing issue endemic over the prior year. Cancer transits and particularly Venus trine Mars July 6th and Sun trine Mars July 16th will offer the necessary emotional insight required to rectify an issue that exists in our most interior realm, generating a harmonious climate for smoothing over the difficulties that may have been present recently. Mercury trine Mars on July 10th is a great day to have a significant conversation that will bring clarity to this matter.

Venus in Cancer – Two of Cups: “There is nothing to do but enjoy what life offers. I am now ready to let into my life the love relationships which will fulfill me.” ~ Gerd Ziegler

From Cancer, energy turns inward, and a nurturing ambience is present throughout July. Not so easy are oppositions to Pluto/Capricorn and squares to Uranus/Aries, which present unpredictable turning points marked by crisis or confrontation. The Cancer New Moon on July 4th falls in stark opposition to Pluto, and there will be a critical departure or significant change at this time. Late June into July has a highly gestational quality about it. We will withdraw to cultivate our treasure from within the interior world. Leo transits – beginning with Venus on July 13th – open us up to fun and recreational avenues that enhance pleasure, love and self expression. The gestation is complete and that which has undergone metamorphosis within us can now be revealed to the outer world.

By August we move into a brisk and exciting, but potentially tense phase that leads up to the immensely significant Virgo Eclipse on September 1st. In many ways, the major activity cycle for 2016 begins now. The North Node and Virgo-Jupiter are highly active, but harsh alinements from Virgo to Saturn in Sagittarius suggest we have major obstacles to overcome in order to engage with the evolutionary opportunities offered by this Eclipse. Mercury triggers the eclipse degree on August 6th, and Venus on the 13th. Intuition into future developments, as well as agreements and conversations around these dates can offer clues and set the stage for that which develops around September 1st.

Saturn resumes direct motion on August 13th as well, allowing us to release the karma of the prior phase and build anew with a greater understanding of our personal objectives currently manifesting through Sagittarius. A week later, Mars leaves the shadow of the prior retrograde, creating a fire and ice conjunction with Saturn on the 24th at 9 Sagittarius. This signals the beginning of an important 2 year cycle in which the topics of Saturn – Sagittarius are now really crystalizing. Mars transverses through the eye of the needle, stimulating action to be taken upon these goals with urgency. This conjunction can be very challenging, your drives are subjugated to practical concerns and this can manifest in feelings of restriction or frustration. The best use of this energy is to methodically and patiently work towards long range goals or on aspects of life that require more effort as they are quite obvious now.

Ouch! A whole lot of Saturn square during the Virgo Eclipse! At least Mercury, Venus and Jupiter in cahoots should help us stay optimistic 🙂

Virgo Eclipse

The Virgo Eclipse is an incredibly potent period in which we’ll see massive culminations and transformations occur. The Mutable t-square is activated, and the longer issue of it’s resolution is possible now. From Virgo, transiting planets, as well as the Eclipse period itself tap Neptune in opposition and Saturn by square. Pluto lends support by trine, an aspect that governs significantly over the Mercury – Virgo retrograde, (August 31 – September 22) with the two locked into a deeply penetrating conversation throughout the last two weeks of September. It’s highly likely developments, activities and opportunities that emerged in June (Jupiter – North Node, Jupiter trine Pluto) are featured prominently, with really remarkable growth occurring from August into September.

What makes this whole thing a bit squirrly is this issue between the transiting planets and North Node in Virgo conflicting with Mars and Saturn in Sagittarius as well as Neptune off in Pisces. And Mercury, that rascal and trickster, is retrograde, tying up our progress as we attend to renegotiating massive chunks of all the positive prospects revealed during this phase. Virgo is of course, the master of details, refinement and attainment of perfection. To get there, Virgo must see all the components that make up the whole, which has a decisive quality to it, while Sagittarius is focused on The Bigger Picture. Pisces – Neptune seeks to infuse inspiration and spiritual conviction, though most impractically, which can have an unravelling effect on our efforts. Finding a way to make all these disparate energies work together is the key to resolving the dilemma we are confronted with, and quite worthwhile to undertake. When you successfully reconcile this issue, you become practically invincible in having all these energies at your disposal. Choose to be controlled by nothing by not allowing distractions to derail your efforts. Take August and September one day and one task at a time. If you have set your intentions in June, stay that course.

Libra – The Scales of Justice

September 9th we herald the return of Jupiter to Libra, a highly beneficial placement that enhances the development of fairness and equilibrium within our one on one partnerships. The next 14 months will encourage diplomacy and lend a wonderful ambience to our one on one relationships. Growth through partnerships is highlighted. The September 30th New Moon in Libra will make a significant connection to this placement, and will signal the brilliant culminations on route for December.

STARGAZER FORECAST JUNE 2016

STARGAZER JUNE – PIVOT POINT: KARMIC CROSSROADS

June is a period of adaptation, one very much entrenched in the choices, endings and resolutions made since and during March, when numerous South Node transits made apparent what we were required to remove by bringing situations which had outlived their endings to the breaking point. The excruciating Chiron – South Node transit that lasted through most of March was incredibly significant. With the South Node we are always on the receiving end of the Karmic returns of prior actions, and with Chiron stimulated, the painful recognition of decisions we made based on feelings of unworthiness or inadequacy provoked topics requiring very intensive personal and interpersonal considerations. A complete surrender to the emotions aroused in this period likely (and hopefully) led to the release of critical karmic baggage and the realization we are no longer bound to it. The March 8th Pisces eclipse offered an exciting glimpse into the future, but also the realization that we had much to relinquish to make adequate space for all that lies ahead. (Incidentally, Mars will trine Chiron between the 10th and 14th of June, allowing for the healing of sexual rifts, especially those brought on during the conditions experienced in March. Rekindle and awaken to love and sensuality in this phase.)

From here we reach a karmic crossroads, as June sees numerous Gemini transits stimulating the nodal axis and challenge how effectively we integrated the awareness of the South Node transits in March. As we are moving away from the South Node, and towards the North, this is a good time for some cosmic house keeping so we can engage the more positive prospects on tap in September when the North Node is activated and another series of eclipses opens doorways to a brilliant new future. Any feelings of frustration or disorientation we experience this month (and particularly on the dates featuring nodal axis or Chiron squares) should be used to right the course and point us back in the direction of the North Node.

Jupiter (now direct) conjunct the North Node can bring about wonderful conditions or an opportunity in the area of the chart where North Node (Virgo) is transiting. We got hints back in January to what might be in store, though it could easily take a few more weeks (while Mercury and Mars right their course) to really get moving on what is in store. Also culminating this month we’ll revisit the Saturn – Neptune square, which originally formed in late November last year. (You can read my post about it here.) This is the second in a triad, and here at the halfway point, we are considering how successfully we are negotiating the Saturn – Neptune issue. A reality check is going to be required if we have allowed delusion or wishful thinking to color outlook in a matter, Saturn will likely send a reminder that it’s time to get real with what is really required for a positive outcome (which we’ll see in early September). This could have to do with dream you have sought to achieve, or a spiritual journey of body or spirit you seek to make.

Saturn is not here to tell you cannot have what you want, but rather that in order to get it, you must define it and work towards it first. What is also a big consideration this year is the South Node will be activated by Neptune later in the year. As advised in my 2016 Overview, use the instructive nature of the transit and sensitivities it may arouse to the Neptune issue in an effort to resolve those prior to the South Node conjunction. To fail to do so will open a dank can of worms where delusion, addiction, or even lies are the prevailing force. Use your instincts and let them tell you if things are not quite right! Neptune retrogrades at 12 Pisces on the 13th. This sends us back through the subjective, visionary and spiritual material that has accumulated since March. Experiences of de ja vous, and other serendipities such as repetition of images or dreams bear clues within your psychic realm and may help stimulate release of blocked energies as we flow back into the ether of universal consciousness.

Unnamed River Spirit from Spirited Away, Hayao Miyazaki 2001

The tempo picks up from the 12th when Mercury enters Gemini, and we can now articulate some of the Gemini topics that have been revealed over the last few weeks, especially during the Gemini New Moon on the 4th, which throws us right into the belly of the Mutable Cross. Again to say this is a hyper busy and critical month, and much gets done, but there are some definitely some turning points on the road ahead. It’s not unlikely the Sun – Venus conjunction square the Nodes on the 8th can bring much uncertainty or reconsideration within a relationship. The 12th (Venus sextile Uranus) and 27th (Venus trine Neptune) are far more amenable for romantic and recreational activities. The 20th is also very vexing as Mercury moves into the t-square, perhaps creating argumentative circumstances, though perhaps offering a way to sort through through the muddle through negotiation. At that point we’ll be on the Sagittarius Full Moon, another pointed and dynamic period. The thing with all the Gemini is a constant sense of self negation. It’s a two sided beast. With such an intensified ambience, it could get physically and emotionally draining quickly. If you feel lost, look to Jupiter – North Node to steer the ship. Self care, staying organized and being meticulous are the way through and offer the best opportunities for growth at this time!

GEMINI NEW MOON, hey at least there’s still a nice grand Earth trine underneath the Mutable Cross Madness while retrograde/renegade wanderer Mars moves back through Scorpio.

GEM

Sorry guys, super shortie horoscopes this time, I just moved and things have been hectic!!! I’ll be publishing a special three month report at the Summer Solstice, also to be featured on my app on iTunes, on which you can also get your Stargazer 2016 Horoscope, daily aspects and interpretations ->

ARIES – Your social realm buzzes and may even feature a romantic connection. Don’t allow all the parties and lunch dates overwhelm your need to work hard on a project that elevates your professional status. If your subconscious is working over drive, you likely still have stuff to process out from last March. Confide in your lover on the weekend of the 11th.

TAURUS – Many money making opportunities may distract you from the real treasure to be found this month, in your creative and romantic realm. Do what you have to on the financial front, but keep your eye to the big picture, especially on the 26th. Connecting on a meaningful level is possible around the 11th, and socially you’ll find wonderful companionship from the 18th onward.

GEMINI – It’s a big one for you, Gem and lots of opportunities both personally and on the domestic front. It’s possible you’ll see a long awaited financial breakthrough that ties into your residence – either allowing for the sale or purchase of a property. You may be at odds in a partnership this month, the 4th and 20th are both defining.

CANCER – Of all the signs you mostly unscathed from this wild energy cauldron that is June. And with Venus in your sign from the 18th, life is about to look a whole lot sweeter. Rekindle the flame on the 11th and 26. A lot is going on behind the scenes right now, and may even do a retreat and withdraw as your personal year comes to and end.

LEO – Socially there is so much activity, but don’t let it derail your financial prospects and objectives. The 26th will see a long anticipated and fought for development. Mid month you can bury the hatchet on a family feud. You are getting closer to working that one out… soon. After the 18th, you seek some privacy. Relationships can morph in this phase. Passion returns next month.

VIRGO – You’re in the hot seat, Virgo, as relational dynamics and MORE IMPORTANTLY how you handle them, will play a role in defining your personal/professional victory this September. Some of the most impressive developments of 2016 for you on the 21st. If you find there is residue lingering in ties broken last March, it’s time to cut the cord. Onward and upward. Passion abounds on the 26th and 27th. Let the right one in.

LIBRA – You probably long to reach for distant horizons, though local and domestic issues carry more urgency somehow. Do try to book a retreat or massage on the 22nd. A soul charge rejuvenation will do wonders. Finances continue to need reappraisal, though professionally your star is on the rise from the 18th onward. A connection you make on the 11th offers meaningful insight.

SCORPIO – While most are dodging bullets, you’ll be in your customary behind the scenes mode, pulling the puppet strings far from the action. The good news on this is you’re less likely to get wounded, but you may find you are hankering for a bit more flesh and bones role. It’s all much better after the end of the month when all that personal processing gets you back out there. Work out your relationals in the 1st half. Last chance.

SAGITTARIUS – A lot of energy out there affecting relationships with a New Moon on the 4th really stirring things up. By the 20th, you’re own Full Moon, you’ll feel a better sense where things are headed. Try not to let it distract you TOO MUCH – your professional and financial indications are STUNNING. Circle the 21st and 26th. These are ones you’ve been waiting for.

CAPRICORN – So if you manage to keep a good work/life balance and maintain a healthy lifestyle this month (and it’ll be tricky), you are one of the few signs who stands to gain advantage in this climate, Cap. Growth and optimism on the highest order are featured here, it’s likely a personal passion or project, after months of struggle, may finally be getting off the ground. Warm up to romance after mid month.

AQUARIUS – You want to have fun, but maybe your heart just isn’t in it yet? Really positive professional opportunities are brewing behind the scenes, as you get solid indications of around the 11th. A job opportunity from the 18th onwards is likely, with some of the dodgier financials to come straight by the end of the month. The 12th is all yours for having the good times.

PISCES – Your personal axis points are all lit up this month with the most dynamic action taking place in your domestic, familial realm. Home matters could and should be addressed, especially in light of the bigger challenges you relinquished in March. HOWEVER, the biggest slice of pie is that special relationship that maybe had gone off the radar for a while. The week of the 21st – 27th is the bonanza.

STARGAZER FORECAST APRIL 2016

APRIL / ARIES ~ MONTH OF FIRE ~ RESURGENCE AND PURIFICATION OF THE SPIRIT REALM

The turbulence and general dankness of March recedes swiftly into the rear view mirror, replaced with fresh and enlivening currents of energy and enthusiasm as numerous Aries transits marshal in new beginnings and a pioneering, indomitable spirit. April speaks to the liberating power of Uranus, signaling a spontaneous new order – get ready to jump! Paradoxically, the actual inertia of our activities slows as Mars winds down to the pace of treacle, as the retrograde cycle commences mid month, turning us about face, where we are asked to evaluate the actions we have taken over the last 8 weeks, if not the last two years. Time for redux.

ARIES NEW MOON

aries new moon 2016

The ARIES NEW MOON occurring on April 7th, sets a dynamic tone, though the entire period from the 5th – 9th is emphasized as Sun connects to the major influencers – Saturn, Pluto and Uranus throughout the week. A very lively connection to Uranus on the 9th indicates real breakthroughs are possible now. Pluto still creates a tense atmosphere, with a Sun – Pluto square on the 6th bringing a very pervasively challenging circumstance to a head, culminating in some really critical (and ongoing) power struggles. There is a distinct possibility that doing something completely new or unconventional can help us make the breakthrough where Pluto has been a repressive influence. Slow and steady Saturn weighs in on the 5th, reminding us we are moving in the right direction as we steadily manage to complete our to do list. The combined forces of the Sun, Moon and Uranus on the 7th creates a very dynamic surge of energy, and the ambience for the first two weeks of April will be utterly electrifying and impulsive. With such incredible vitality available, thresholds we have been unable to cross can now be obliterated. Saturn oversees and is very supportive from Sagittarius, so while the New Moon conjunct Uranus is a very boundary breaking influence on it’s own, initiatives we put into place now augment our long range efforts for structure and security, and ultimately satisfaction, an issue that became a prominent theme as Saturn went retrograde last month.

The Saturn retrograde period (March 25 – August 13) is a time in which we must evaluate the structures we have built since last November. Their durability and strength will be considered and where we have not succeeded in creating an enduring framework that offers the security we are cultivating (signified by the area where Saturn transits in your chart,) we will have to make modifications and renew our efforts to find stability from mid – August onward. The retrograde of Mars (April 18 – June 30) reinforces this, as both are traveling through Sagittarius. At the crux of this karmic journey is to overcome feelings of restriction and oppression in relation to our personal expression, feelings of joy, and the ability to obey our impulses. We have so much more to explore during this passage, although it’s safe to say we’ll gain the most valuable asset of this transit when we completely release ourselves from a perceived outcome and throw ourselves in and simply learn from the experience itself. Saturn demands we practice this, to integrate it into the daily, weekly and monthly routine. Cultivating a genuine sense of freedom, and unconditional and uninhibited feelings of faith in a positive outcome are where we want to wind up. It is only through the mastery of this skill that Saturn will release the restrictions upon the area being transited in your chart. Sagittarius is always focused on a destination, but realizes upon arrival there is still more territory in which to expand the quest, and embraces the next adventure. It is this nature of expansion itself (think Jupiter!) that reminds us not to fear constructing reality on the fly. Be fearless! Stimulation from Aries planets will push us to remarkable new heights.

Mars in Sagittarius meanwhile provides enormous enthusiasm and bravery to venture into that very unknown, although the upcoming retrograde phase may have us reconsidering the route we will take to get there, or what the destination is. Stationing at 8 Sagittarius (for nearly the whole month) those of us with chart factors at 8 Sag, Gemini, Virgo or Pisces (give or take 2-3 degrees on either side) are really gonna get hit with this one, though it’s a bit like a volcano erupting in slow motion. Aries transits of the Sun, Mercury and Venus, after the 5th, all amplify the fiery nature of this month. Fire burns and purifies by relinquishing the detritus holding us back. Fire also is associated with self expression, creativity and imagination, so it’s quite possible a big artistic project is in the frame. The Sabian Symbol for 8 Sagittarius is “Within the depths of the earth new elements are being formed” or as Thomas Carlyle said: “No pressure, no diamonds” so there is the potential now for profound alchemical transformation of the inner realm, as there are significant changes taking place. It’s a lot of pressure for Mars to hinge on a single degree for this amount of time. A great deal of this is going to happen beneath the surface, and with Mars set to move back into Scorpio by the end of May, we will once again engage the depths of the psyche as we submerge back into Scorpios’ depths. Go deep and make your diamonds people! By November, this phase of the adventure comes complete, and with Mars and Saturn meeting up on the 24th of August, a significant leg of the journey will be made. Saturn is setting the goals, Mars will bring the energy to achieve them.

VENUS IN ARIES – The opportunity for clarification and resolution of old issues, a new beginning; symbolized by the Four of Rods – Aquarian Tarot

Screen Shot 2016-03-31 at 2.41.53 PM

Venus will be in Aries from April 6th, intensifying the ambience and making us receptive to passionate encounters. After the prickly relationship dynamics we endured last month – Venus square Mars, Venus square Saturn, Venus conjunct South Node 😦 we will thoroughly enjoy the positive, upbeat quality of time we get this month. Venus trine Mars (12th), Venus trine Saturn (18th) and Venus conjunct Uranus (22nd) will offer renewal and growth through our encounters with others, especially where the pleasure principal is highlighted. With Uranus in the mix there can be opportunities for enticing new liaisons, though with Mars going retrograde, maybe not the best time to start a major relationship, IMO

Mercury flies through Aries like a banshee, ending a brisk two week transit when it enters Taurus on the 6th. Mercury will be in Taurus for a lengthy total of nearly 10 weeks, finally leaving on June 13th. From Taurus the thought process is anchored intensively to the material realm, so it’s likely we’re negotiating financial agreements and attending to matters of security over the next two and a half months. By mid – April you’ll get the gist, and the 14th and 17th are exquisite for conversations or hatching ideas that will offer solutions, as long as you realize this is just the beginning of a dialogue that will continue through the end of May.

Though Mercury is debilitated during it’s retrograde cycle (April 29 – May 23) the configuration it allows for is really quite incredible, as from Taurus Mercury completes a Grand Trine in the earth signs connecting Jupiter/North Node in Virgo and Pluto in Capricorn. The Sun in Taurus from April 20th adds palpable significance within this period and by May 1st, Venus joins the party, indicating a positive and attractive current of energy in relation to money, property and valuable possessions. This also has a very strong influence on our sense of security as we are likely to feel grounded and prepared to work productively towards goals. Of course – don’t think this one is in the bag, although you may find as early as May 7th or 10th that significant alliances are being formed or that prosperity and good fortune are moving in your direction. With Mercury retrograde, it’s very important to remain composed, especially if very big figures are involved, (and with Jupiter and Pluto involved, it could potentially be very big figures,) through the arbitration phase that is set to occur through May. A critical bit of information or a way better offer could be in store so you’ll do yourself the best favor to wait and hedge your commitments until the end of the month of May. Mercury stations from May 19 – 26 at 14 Taurus, in a pretty tight trine to Jupiter 13 Virgo. If nothing else, good moods and positive thinking will be pervasive, and with Jupiter direct (from May 9) it could be that we are putting the finishing touches on a very lucrative contract and working out all the juicy details. May the 30th is a good day to lock down agreements or dig a bit deeper in regard to your associates before you commit. Mercury activates the Nodal axis on the 21st and 22nd, offering a glimpse into what is ahead and what we should be striving for.

STARGZER MONTHLY HOROSCOPE:

ARIES – Events this month have the potential to give you a brand new lease on life, and with Venus in your sign you will no doubt benefit from revealing your softer and more gentler side. Sparks of love that fly around the 12th and 22nd can kindle a new romance or take a current one to a whole new level. Exploration is key, and there is an exciting and spontaneous quality to connections you make now. Sneak in some kinky on the 12th, you earned it! The 18th can be ideal for establishing (or at least exploring,) a commitment with long range potential. A New Moon in your sign on the 7th connects to Uranus, signaling a desire to express complete authenticity, perhaps even making an unanticipated if unprecedented move. Professional obstacles or commitments not withstanding, you can feel a sense of urgency to make a radical change. Saturn is supporting your better interests, so go for it! Mind on your money and money on your mind from the 5th, as a two month transit involving Mercury (retrograde next month) impacts your house of income, personal resources and self worth. Think long game on this one: negotiations will see a few loops and turn arounds, and the conversations and agreements you enter into around the 14th and 17th bear fruit towards the end of May. Keep yourself open to changes and hang tight, this cycle can produce genuine prosperity, all the dirty details simply need to get hammered out first.

TAURUS – Your Sixth Sense is buzzing this month, and you have the potential of going deep within your psyche to retrieve treasures both forgotten and unknown. You would betray the best outcome right now by trying to extend your reach too far – think in internals, the best exploration you can make right now occurs within you. This inquiry, or maybe it’s a meditation (?) will help you unravel the knots of the current Mercury cycle, taking up a pretty solid 10 week stay in your sign from the 5th onward. On the plus, this cycle harmonizes a very positive potential for reaching a broader audience through a creative or personal undertaking. It’s also possible if you are looking to adopt a child from a foreign country, or in a relationship with someone from abroad, and if so, this matter is coming together for you in May. Conversations or insights that occur around the 14th and 17th set into motion the wheels for this opportunity, and although there may be a few detours, by the last week of May, things fall neatly into place. Mercury retro in your sign (from April 28 – May 22) can bring several reappraisals and shifting conditions. Meanwhile, Venus will enter your sign on the 29th, so you can expect some really delightful experiences throughout May, and it would seem likely people from your past play a role. A partnership matter comes to a head during the super emotive Scorpio Full Moon on the 22nd, and you need to decide if you are in or out. Unexpected, even unprecedented culminations in a relationship are possible. So are you?

GEMINI – Collaboration and team work is fruitful for you this month, as the energy of others spurs you to action, and offers inspiring insights that enhance your relationships with very positive influences. Romance can be found through friends or at a networking event. A key partnership is stimulated around the 12th, make the best of it. When Mars goes retrograde on the 17th you may find the flames of passion subside for a few months, which may be for the best if a relationship has been burning white hot and you need to tone it down. Surprises are in store on the 22nd, a partner may announce they are going away for work or travel, or you may meet someone completely new and unexpectedly. The gearshift to neutral comes courtesy of a 10 week Mercury phase occurring in your area of hidden treasures, endings and secrets which begins on the 5th. Your intuition will be very strong for the next two months, but this placement makes you highly empathic, and you readily pick up on the vibes of those around you, ESPECIALLY the bad ones, so choose your company carefully. During the retrograde cycle (April 28th – May 22nd) you will be mining some really interesting material from the way, way back of the deepest and darkest depths of your psyche. Pay attention for clues on the 14th and 17th as the topics revealed will likely speak to the ongoing process of resolution you seek to make within yourself during this cycle.

CANCER – The emphasis shifts to the very top of your chart, highlighting your public image and reputation as well as profession, fame and the distinct role you play in society. With Venus here from the 5th you are benefiting from positive PR or may find you have really reached a pinnacle in your career. Stunning opportunities for advancement can be revealed on the 7th, 9th or 20th. Anything that comes up at these times will likely have a futuristic bent, or likely just come in right out of the blue. The influences are positive and tap into your long range objectives and the hard work you have done up to now. Nail down details and make commitments on the 18th. A really bold new enterprise can take shape during the New Moon on the 7th, though you and a business partner or spouse may be at odds as to how you should proceed. More favorable influences en route during the Full Moon on the 22nd highlight creativity and pleasure. You can tap into a more romantic vibe at this point. Friends and organizations, particularly those connected to your past will be a significant source of activities for the upcoming two months, a trend you will most likely enjoy. It looks as though those you will be spending time and catching up with may offer really favorable energies that will help you either meet someone with real partnership potential or help you expand your social network considerably.

LEO – The travel bug hits you hard this month, and you might decide to go off on an unexpected if not unprecedented adventure. The New Moon on the 7th could reveal an exciting opportunity to get on the road. A creative project you have been working on since last Autumn could play a role, literally, if you are an actor, writer or performer you might be going on a tour or lecture series. The influences at work produce decidedly *unexpected* circumstances. They are equally enlivening, and you will want to take advantage of what is on offer, especially if a key partnership is at stake. The caveat: your day job or an uncooperative health issue may hinder your availability to accommodate your spontaneity. If so, this is likely attached to an ongoing issue that is quite ready to be resolved. The solution lies in trying something so extraordinarily different from that which you have in the past (and quite possibly inspired by a brilliant, but unusual cohort,) that you finally make the breakthrough you have been seeking for ages. Two weeks later, April 21st, a Scorpio Full Moon sets you back down to the roots and your base. Where you are from, where you are now, all the changes you have endured in this area for the last several years in this arena flow through your consciousness. Even a year ago, you felt so close to the changes you sought to make but still had so much more work to do. At this point you can look around and feel confidence that the changes you have desired manifested.

VIRGO – As the surreal — if not completely — unreal influences of last month fade into memory, you will find that you are entering a relatively calmer phase. Mercury in Taurus from the 5th provides an ambience of precision and clarity aiding communication and negotiations. This is a longer trend that will influence you through May, there is a long distance connotation and you may be working towards a long range enterprise or adventure that’s going to require some tweaking. April is about grounding down, particularly in regard to relationships that were tricky over the prior period. A bevy of planets and a New Moon in the 8th house (sex, death, intimacy) signals you are in the process of deepening a commitment you made or began last month (if not prior,) or that you are in the alternate process of purging and releasing a relationship that has come to an end. This profoundly personal period taps you into the depths of your desires, many of which may catch you by surprise. Very interesting influences preside on the 9th and 20th in particular, though your love interest might be caught off guard if you intensify your commitment on the 6th or 19th and they aren’t quite ready. Early Virgo will be challenged/stimulated by Mars station at 8 Sagittarius for most of the month. All Virgo will experience the retrograde cycle (beginning April 17 – end June) as a slow down on the domestic front. Just as you were starting to make your climb on and up, residential matters, perhaps a move, sidestep for the time being. For now let the pleasurable influences (particularly those of next month) take precedence.

LIBRA – It’s not so much about the relationship itself, Libra, but your relationship to the relationship and the headspace you allow it to occupy. Uranus is providing a highly liberating influence, but you have to be willing to burn the old script and make a radical departure from the past to make it work. An enticing new cycle begins for you on the 7th, and there are incredible opportunities for you to connect, cultivate and invigorate your relationship to the relationship. A direct approach will work wonders, although you might find your prospects are limited or that a partner goes out of bounds while Mars is retrograde. A contentious energy associated with your domestic scene also seems to be thwarting your efforts to authentic partnering, someone or something finds your arrangement a little too unconventional and this has been a topic of heated debate. To this end the 19th specifically can prove to be a challenging day. What you can benefit from this month, however, is the ability to uncover a whole new approach that can bring about the solution to an ongoing issue. It’s not so much about being confrontational so much as discovering a new way to articulate your position. The week of the 17th provides volumes of information about who – what and where you are headed. From the 5th an emphasis on business partners and shared resources becomes the topic of serious conversation through the end of May. A negotiation may stall or require modifications next month, but stick this one out, as there is a potential for substantial gain that makes the long game worth playing. Conversations, ideas and insights on the 14th and 17th open doors and negotiations that will fall into place by the end of next month. Financials come into focus during the Scorpio Full Moon on the 21st and you may be leaving behind one source of income for another.

SCORPIO – The emphasis for April is your wellness, body, it’s maintenance and your’ lifestyle. There are very positive influences to make long term gains financially as an element of luck and your obvious dedication at work will likely pay off for you in this phase. To the end you have been innovative in regard to your employment prospects, there may be a sudden opening or inspiration that triggers an exciting development. The 7th, 9th and 20th reveal the details. Currently, you have good energy to make money, the 5th, 12th and 18th are especially positive. However, with Mars going retrograde on the 17th, you may see a financial slow down, so while you can make some extra funds, it’s wise at this point to save that for a rainy day. The 17th and 18th see your double rulers, Mars and Pluto turn retrograde. Some of the candor and enthusiasm you felt since New Years will likely diminish as energy turns inwards, although the next few months take a very social turn and emphasize partnership as well as friends. You’ll come back strong in July. A Full Moon in your sign on the 22nd signals endings and culminations. You are ready to release much in this phase, and this serves you well with so much to gain over the coming months. You may have to look within for answers, but you will find them if you do! Mercury in Taurus from the 5th begins a significant 2 month transit affecting partnerships, with Venus to follow on the 29th. There may be some twists and turns on the road to an enduring commitment, but very positive influences assure a satisfying conclusion by the end of May.

SAGITTARIUS – Things get hot and heavy in your neck of the woods Sag, and the closer your b-day to November 30th, the more exquisite (or excruciating) the intensity you experience over the next month as Mars stations in your sign. The good news is there are electrifying currents due in your romantic, creative and self expressive realms, you can connect with an authenticity as well as foster new connections that allow you to express yourself in bold new ways you have never likely considered. The New Moon on the 7th sets the stage for incredible developments, especially strong signals appear on the 9th, 12th and 22nd. You are guided with incredible conviction, and feelings of bravery are strong in this period. There could be some discouraging news about the financials, and the 6th and 19th can be challenging in this regard. An inventive approach may trigger an answer to a long standing issue. Provocative meetings are on the way, even if your ardor is diminishing during the Mars retrograde phase, you can still explore what is on offer. A love relationship may stabilize on the 18th, or you see significant progress with a personal or creative project. You seek repose towards the end of the month, particularly around the Scorpio Full Moon on the 21st. It is appropriate at this time to reflect upon and release the past.

CAPRICORN – You are restructuring your life on a pretty fundamental level at this point, and it’s likely the changes occurring on the outside (most likely impacting your residence, or the relationship you have with the people within it) are starting to more accurately reflect what’s going on inside. Your inner landscape is ripe with fertile material you can use to create the soul home you seek. As the friction and growing pains of the last few years have given way to a whole new thinking about what the home/family dynamic can look like, you are probably willing to depart radically from what you have known in the past. Cues and clues revealed this month will point you in the right direction as you seek a more authentic space in which to dwell. Opportunities are abundant this month to initiate or make the changes that are long overdue in your private life. To seize this opportunity, you are going to have to employ all new tactics, throw out the script, and start over. If it didn’t work before, it won’t now. A seismic shift in perspective on the 7th will aid you in finding a new solution. Financially it’s a positive month, so you may uncover resources to make a long desired transformation in your living arrangements. Also on queue: from the 6th a long transit of Mercury will see you in a ongoing dialogue regarding a creative project, your children or a love relationship that can lead to having children. Although this negotiation takes time, there are very positive influences presiding over it, possibly someone at a distance or a media or publishing venture is playing a beneficial role here. Your personal passion for this also drives you to reach a successful conclusion. Look to the 17th for clues. More (much more) on this in May.

AQUARIUS – Your innate sparkle is utterly luminous this month, especially when you get out and walk and talk and in the subtle minutia of daily interactions and discourse. Writing, speaking and all communications are enhanced, also making this a great time to take a class or attend a lecture that will open your perspective and allow you to meet new people. You’ll seek mental stimulation and creative activities with a partner, or may even meet someone while simply in the process of your day to day activities. Ideas, flashes of inspiration and even pure genius should be anticipated, particularly between the 7th – 9th, when intellectual stimulation shoots right off the charts. Dialogue is incredibly stimulating for you right now, so rather than have that conversation with yourself in your head, seek the input of outside influences. A great deal of action will also be taking place in your domestic environment, from the 6th a very long transit of Mercury affects your home and private life. There may be a great deal of visitors, and if so they are likely people from your past who you reconnect with. These occasions should be joyous and revelry will warm your abode through May. There may also be reason to celebrate, it’s possible an inheritance or legacy is going to make a move possible, though there will be some turnarounds here too. Retro Mercury can stall paperwork or present an issue with the home itself that must be addressed before moving is viable. Positive developments on the 14th and 17th will point you in the appropriate direction, even if this one doesn’t get wrapped up until the end of next month. Accolades for a job well done on the 21st are the reward for your hard work in your profession.

PISCES – So March was maybe the dankest month on record, though hopefully with Venus in your sign you had some good fortune despite all the friction and upheaval! There is a massive shift in the energy fields as Aries dynamics really begin to take over, and by the 6th we won’t even remember some of the more intense passages endured last month. The New Moon on the 7th triggers an amazing new channel of resources for you – a breakthrough regarding your self worth and what you care about can occur now allowing you tap into an eclectic or novel new way to earn. The 9th and 22nd are also highlighted, resources can flow in now and will allow for an electrifying current of change within your values. What does slow down over the next 10-ish weeks are some reversals of course in your professional life, it looks like your going to be taking a detour to reach your aspirational goals. Reconsideration of your tactics, or your destination will be a fairly prominent feature of the next three months. The Scorpio Full Moon on the 21st may send you some positive signals of the direction you may choose to consider. Meanwhile your social life is set to pick up, with really fresh and stimulating influences will really enhance communication and your day to day activities. A project in your neighborhood can be a productive use of these transits, and you might bump into old friends in the course of your daily commute. The retrograde period of Mercury will not have a particularly negative effect, though you will be better off to avoid negotiations or filing any significant paper work, especially if money is involved. This would be a good time to edit or revisit a writing project however, as you may find stunning new ways to articulate your message.

STARGAZER FORECAST MARCH 2016

SOUTH NODE CONJUNCT CHIRON: CRITICAL ENCOUNTERS

March is the big kahuna, featuring the kind of dynamics that can literally transform life in a split second. Eclipses season is en route for Spring, signaling that bright new beginnings as well as the necessary endings to make room for the new are likely to occur throughout March. The Pisces eclipse on the 8th will receive very positive energy from the Jupiter – Pluto trine. The Libra eclipse on the 23rd connects right into the topics and agenda of our new four month Sun – Mercury cycle, beginning at 3 Aries on the 23rd. If you thought 2016 was a snooze, you ain’t seen nothing yet! (As always, the closer eclipses fall to your personal chart factors, the bigger the personal impact in your life will be! **Do also look at your PROGRESSED CHART, these can be equally significant when contacted by the Eclipses as well!** Get your chart FOR FREE on astro.com to find out!)

Endings and culminations are prominent, look to where Pisces resides in your chart to see where they are most likely to occur. Numerous contacts from the South Node conjunct to Sun (Mar. 12th), Mercury (Mar. 17th) and Venus (Mar. 30th) will bring matters to conclusion where it is time to release a dream or fantasy. Pisces is the vessel of our most etherial and visionary desires. It associates with the transcendence of the ordinary, the mundane and the real. The South Node transits reveal what we have to let go of, and in the case we do not feel prepared to surrender our illusions, these can be quite painful episodes.

South Node is also conjunct Chiron for most of the month. It’s time to relinquish this constant need to self therapize our Chiron – Pisces issue. Chiron is a secondary ruler to Virgo, and with Chiron there is this pervasive need to fix things, which is rooted entirely in the concept that Something Is Wrong. Let that noise go for now. There can be an episode that triggers memories of pain, loss or the capacity to heal in this area, and what is revealed may even be connected to a past life. While it may feel this intuition is highly instructive, it is only through surrendering the desire to reconcile our “issue” (or someone else’s for that matter,) that we will genuinely be enabled to construct a healthy new narrative in which we release the subconscious patterning that is blocking our evolution, which right now is tied to Something Is Wrong.

Profound detoxification is possible now if we actually become aware that we are using alcohol, drugs or some other form of delusion inducing compulsion in order to compel truthfulness to Something Is Wrong. Drink a lot of water, cry as much as you need to and be willing to experience the process on a COMPLETELY PHYSICAL LEVEL. If you begin to overthink and attempt to rationalize your feelings (STOP NOW!) or are experiencing stress, try the breathing exercise from my last post, take a walk or get some exercise. The aspect peaks around the 24th (21 Pisces), just following the Libra Eclipse. Hardy, har, har!!! Love, the Universe.

In the way that the South Node Aries contacts last year demonstrated how we needed to cultivate new ways to assert ourselves (most demonstrably through cooperating with others,) South Node Pisces is urging us to emancipate ourselves from worn out delusions that are preventing us from embracing the future. If we are able to change our perception, this becomes a LIBERATING experience, where the stuff we are getting rid of allows us make room for new and vitalizing experiences up ahead. These are only painful transitions if we cling desperately to the past.

Screen Shot 2016-02-17 at 2.40.02 PM

The March 8th eclipse falls at 18’ 56” Pisces, and is really quite extraordinary. It signals a new dream is taking root, and taps into the incredible and transformative energy of the Jupiter – Pluto trine (exact on the 16th at 17 degrees Virgo – Capricorn). The earth element is highly supportive and assists in manifesting the visionary objective that initiates at this time. The combination of material reinforcement (Earth signs) with the spiritual and inspirational qualities (Pisces – Jupiter) produce a marvelous ambience for creative, artistic and visionary pursuits. There is a big boost for these activities and we can productively transform through them at this time. Saturn, meanwhile, challenges the enticing developments that occur, and it’s equally likely that duty, restriction or obligation weighs heavily on our ability to make the most of the otherwise lovely developments unfolding in this period. It is possible the awareness that emerges in relation to this conflict stimulates us to take action to resolve this issue.

March 6th features the second of three quincunx aspects between Jupiter and Uranus. The first occurred last November and the final one will be on August 13th. We are in the ongoing process of modifying and refining (Virgo!) a project or enterprise we began as far back as 2010, a period which seeded the initiation of a very innovative and expansive enterprise. Saturn also makes a second square to Jupiter on the 23rd. From the Stargazer 2016 overview: “It was in June of 2010 that Jupiter and Uranus linked up at 0’ Aries, signaling a very innovative project or expansive, revolutionary new way of thinking was initiated. Also in the mix was Saturn in opposition at 0’ Libra.” This whole configuration culminates in December, when Jupiter (Libra) opposes Uranus (Aries) with Saturn in Sagittarius harmonizing both.

It’s a safe bet what occurs (and even more so what we put into motion as a result of these influences,) is very significant in terms of how this whole thing turns out for us at the end of the year. In August we’ll be putting the finishing touches on the work we began in November, right now we are at an interesting mid-point, seeing how well things we set into motion are working out and correcting the course where we need to. The quincunx is a very experimental, alchemical aspect, and the energies are so completely incongruous to work with. Uranus dispatched Jupiter from the edge of Pisces – Aries, the point of complete dissolution into the point of absolute initiation. Jupiter has traveled, seen some sights, and learned some particularly difficult lessons while it navigated the Cardinal Cross. And now in Virgo, Jupiter needs to become malleable and studious, and take all it has learned and REFINE it into something useful. Aries – Uranus is the utmost of impulse energy, it is just so freaking volatile. Jupiter has the task of absorbing the heat and lightning bolts and pressure and transforming all that energy into something of value.

What that thing is has a lot to do with what you set out to achieve during the period in mid 2010 – 2011. Again, at that time you may have only sensed the revolutionary forces percolating beneath the surface. Brilliant, but unusual and innovative concepts may have started to present themselves, providing alternatives you would have never considered previously. As recently as last June, when Jupiter – Uranus were trine, we got a huge boost of initiative for this undertaking, some kind of signal to tell us we were going in the right direction. Again, listen to the message, take in the criticism and notes, whether they illicit from inside or outside, all of it is useful to you right now and will ultimately serve you to clarify what you are doing in order to reach that successful conclusion in December.

LIBRA ECLIPSE CHART:

libra eclipse

Our second eclipse falls on the 3 Aries – Libra axis, bringing to a conclusion a long range metamorphosis that extends as far back as October of 2013. The Aries eclipse September 27th of last year signaled the resolution of a long standing way of existence. As the Moon disappeared behind the shadow of the Earth that night, a dream or desire became submerged within the depths of the psyche. Do you remember this dream or what you were thinking of as the Moon disappeared? It’s quite possible that your desires becomes unleashed now, as the Sun illuminates it from Aries and brings light and life to the emotional treasure we buried last Fall. It’s possible too, a dramatic shift occurs now that enables us to reclaim that which we sought after 6 months ago. While this is a period of incredible emotional release, and possibly turbulence, the Eclipse itself is well aspected, with Mars in a very supportive position, providing energy to undertake what transpires, offering a helpful and philosophical attitude beaming over from generous Sagittarius. It’s possible a masculine figure is highly instrumental at this time. Mercury resides right next to the Sun, initiating the Sun – Mercury cycle that initiates the next 4 month cycle of daily activities and communication. (More below**) Door closes, window opens.

Mars is slowing in orbit, preparing for its’ retrograde period, beginning next month from April 18th – June 30th. Moving into Sagittarius on the 7th, the planet of action and energy stimulates an more outgoing ambience than we experienced from Scorpio, and although certain activities may be slowing some what, there is vitality and excitement available during this transit. Mars is on the heels of Saturn of course, activating us to take initiative on the long range goals Saturn has set for us. This work in progress continues through August, when Mars and Saturn meet, so imagine this part of your life is a bit like a construction zone, from Sag at least we can be optimistic! 🙂

Venus is highly active with contacts across the spectrum, the most notable of which is the conjunction to Neptune on the 20th. This highly romantically charged aspect taps our ability to see the very best in people, and stimulates a new cycle connected to a visionary pursuit or undertaking. Inspiration is strong, and feelings of love are transcendental. Also in the mix is a volatile Venus – Mars square on the 14th, which generates a lot of romantic and sexual friction if our needs our not being met on either level in our partnerships. The 25th may also prove quite challenging as Venus (Pisces) locks horns with the Jupiter (Virgo) – Saturn (Sagittarius) square that perfects two days earlier. There can be disconcerting and frustrating delays at this time impacting both finances and relationships. Hang in there! The following day Venus contacts Pluto harmoniously, allowing for transformative and passionate experiences to unfold.

**Here’s a little more on the Sun – Mercury cycle from my 2016 astrology e-book. Remember that what we begin now will go through a period of reappraisal and modification during the next Mercury retro phase. The project or activity that begins now is connected to wherever 3 Aries sits in your chart. Get your chart for free on astro.com!**

Sun conjunct Mercury March 23rd – 3’ Aries

This Mercury cycle initiates under the auspices of the Libra Eclipse (3’ 17” Libra) suggesting immensely emotional overtones to beginnings we make now, very likely connected to events and awareness stimulated over the prior 2 years and illuminated specifically last September during the Aries Eclipse 4’ 40”, (September 27th, 2015). A Lunar Eclipse, such as this, portends endings, so what begins now is likely an extension of the closure of a long standing pattern or way of life. One door closes, another opens, as they say. This beginning is given a positive beam of encouragement from Mars in trine from Sagittarius, perhaps we are about to embark on a big adventure and saying farewell to a way of life that has become quite outmoded to make this journey. Jupiter sends very positive vibrations (trine from Virgo) during the retrograde cycle* itself, so themes of expansion are amplified. The last two weeks of May feature positive developments implicating business agreements, travel, education and pursuits associated with the media or broadcasting. Jupiter will have recently turned direct, (May 10th) so it might be that an agreement, contract or negotiation at this time (though temporarily stalled during the upcoming RX cycle of Mercury,) finally comes through and sends us off in a big, big way.

Monthly Horoscopes by STARGAZER:

ARIES: There is a difference between secrets and lies, though it will be difficult to distinguish between the two this month. Everyone has something to hide it turns out, yourself included, so be careful what or to whom you may reveal yourself. Smoke and mirrors are endemic this month. Your psychic, intuitive realm is ripe with inspiration meanwhile, though you may find some of what percolates beneath the surface to be a bit disruptive at times. Trust the flow and see what illuminates. Your dreams may speak to what you must release. It’s a bit of a contradiction, all this latent energy keeping you behind the scenes while Mars comes galloping into Sagittarius on the 7th, activating a surge of energy you haven’t experienced since last Summer. From the 20th it gets easier to be yourself, and there are good prospects for you professionally, if you are willing to put in the work. Mid-month can signal advancement in your career. A project or goal you put into motion last Fall comes together brilliantly, boosting your status substantially. The Libra eclipse on the 23rd represents a final farewell in a committed relationship. This releases you to pursue a personal enterprise with renewed passion and commitment. A strong sense of self awareness guides you into the future.

TAURUS: It’s a big month for you socially, with a flurry of invitations and events coming your way. You are compelled to pick and choose your cohorts wisely, some relationships are fading away into the past tense though you equally stand to reconnecting with long forgotten friends. The March 8th eclipse signals a new dream, or new phase in the realization of a dream, will play a major role in your story for the next 6 months. Powerful creative forces and an opportunity extended from someone at a great distance aids you in making this come true. A highly romantic introduction may feature on the 20th, though you may find your desires are at odds with other long standing arrangements. A health or work situation that has proved difficult to resolve can begin to see signs of resolution from the 23rd. Time spent in relaxing environments or therapeutic settings provide good results. You begin to probe the depths of psyche and there can be insatiable desire to erotic adventures from the 7th. Just be advised that the commitments you make now, including those connected to shared finances, will go through a period of reappraisal in about 7 weeks. Vexing influences on the 14th may prevent you from exercising your better judgement. Cease and desist from making a critical decision at this time, especially in regard to a romantic encounter.

GEMINI: Professional developments are fourth coming, and you can really tap a well spring of inspiration for guidance regarding your life path and vocational pursuits. Visionary auspices influence you throughout the month, particularly around the time of the March 8th Eclipse. It is around this time you will may be offered a very significant position or promotion. What occurs at this time has a very beneficial effect on your living situation, and it is even possible relocation is required to take advantage of the opportunity you are offered. A partnership seems to hang in the balance on this one. Endings are also prominent, and associations and pathways conclude in this period. Far more fulfilling avenues open up when you release what is no longer serving you. The social sphere is activated from the 21st and you will have positive experiences with friends and colleagues over the upcoming month. You might decide to join a club, or grow your network in other ways. The Libra eclipse on the 23rd signals resolution in a creative or romantic matter. It’s possible children are involved, and if you have been trying for pregnancy or negotiating custody this can be a time in which you get closure within these matters.

CANCER: You feel at ease over the upcoming weeks as harmonious transits from Pisces illuminate feelings of genuine satisfaction. Enjoy a more leisurely pace for now, as much will be much coming up for you professionally after the 20th. A vacation or travel could prove highly restorative. A partner reveals the depths of their devotion mid month. The Libra eclipse on the 23rd signals changes affecting your home – professional axis. An ongoing circumstance related to your home or family can be resolved. A great deal of activity is transpiring in your work life as well, there could be a new assignment or rapid changes at the job. If you are seeking employment, it may take a few months for everything to resolve. The trajectory sees several changes over the upcoming months. Events or a negotiation that take place around the 23rd have a significant implication for your career. All the facts and figures come together at this time and you can take on a major initiative. Romance is enticing on the 20th and 26th. Make time to cultivate your love connection.

LEO: Feelings of vitality arouse your creative flow this month. This is especially useful if you have been feeling stuck in a rut with an artistic project or in a romantic relationship. A project you begin now will likely be retooled through the Summer, but this should not prevent you from getting out there and testing the waters. An active ambience in your personal life and within your profession keep you very busy and stimulated. There can be good earnings from work in this period. A sense of urgency to get out and see more of the world can preoccupy you as well. An eclipse in the area of secrets and deep commitment on the 8th foreshadows a new frontier in a close relationship. It is also possible that a legacy or inheritance is on it’s way to you. You benefit this month from a measure of privacy and introspection. Sensitivity is acute, especially over the first few weeks of March and peaking around the 20th. Everyone is getting rocked in the current eclipse cycle, so don’t take things too personally if your agenda isn’t met with immediate approval or assistance is not exactly forthcoming. The 6th holds a special challenge, an authority figure can stall your productivity or bog you down with an assignment that prevents you from pursuing your hearts desire. Bear with it for now, from the 23rd things get better. The 26th is also brilliant, you will feel extraordinary!

VIRGO: Potent forces are at work in your relationship sphere this month, with much going on within your key partnerships or within the life of a partner. The hands of destiny are working overtime to create fated occurrences and meetings. There is also a muddle here, as Neptune continues to be pervasive. It is easy to read far too much into the subtleties and nuances of a situation. You see in this person what you want to and not really what is. This is fine so long as you are not sugarcoating a situation that is actually in fact quite bad for you. Deception can be at play under the guise of Neptune, so be wary. Jupiter meanwhile protects you, and your interests, as you will see specifically around the time of the Eclipse. Beginnings, endings and escalations are possible around this time, with major developments occurring specifically around the 8th and during the Jupiter – Pluto trine, elevating your passion and signaling very positive prospects for commitment. The 20th is beyond romantic. You can connect with your true love. The home life is also emphasized from the 7th, and there can be conflicts with the residence or family members. If you have been trying for relocation, there may be some frustrating delays over the next few months. Hang in there, you’re good to go by the end of Summer.

LIBRA: Very potent, perhaps even life changing forces are at work this month. Reflect on events that occurred at this time two years ago, (as well as developments in late September,) and you will see not only how far you have come, but also what might remain to be addressed. The eclipse in your sign on the 23rd signals sweeping currents of change and a long sought after resolution. This conflict or issue is ready to be handled once and for all, it’s time to make your case and stick with it. Jupiter and Pluto offer immense reservoirs of emotional fortitude to embrace what ever might come up for you and someone close to home, such as a relative of neighbor, is going to offer assistance. A partnership may be the source of the pressure, if so, you can maneuver behind the scenes to get where you need to go next. There can be very confusing circumstances in the work or health life this month, though a creative endeavor can also shine in this phase, and you’ll flourish on the 20th in any artistic endeavors. The eclipse on the 8th portends dramatic, but likely welcome changes to your status as an employee or with those whom you employ. A health issue can also be effectively dealt with now.

SCORPIO: You become less self absorbed this month, as Mars leaves your sign and positive energy emphasizing love and creativity enhance your willingness to compromise or make amends. Leisure, recreation and self expression all feature now. An eclipse on the 8th signals a new chapter in a romantic alliance. If your heart is still free, a meeting that feels quite destined could transpire over the coming weeks. (Keep your eyes on the 20th and 27th for the most enticing developments.) Pay attention to clues you get during the South Node transits (above). Intuition is heightened and you may realize it is time to release circumstances, behaviors or individuals who are no longer helping you to grow. Mars from Sagittarius on the 7th – May 27th places the focus of your activities on earnings. What you put into motion in your financial realm should be treated as highly experimental, a work in progress that will manifest for you in October. You have been engaging unconventional practices in your work and productivity as well, and you may uncover interesting new prospects and avenues this month through technology, digital or web based projects. Events around the 23rd suggest a chapter of your life comes to a end now, though a new beginning, likely attached to a new work prospect is seeded in this phase.

SAGITTARIUS: Mars in your sign from the 7th offers incredible stamina, as the planet of energy and force begins a very rare, extended, 5 month transit of your sign. This is a positive period in which to pursue your agenda and go after what you want. There can be a pushy or abrasive quality during this transit, keep your temper in check! You don’t want to alienate the very people who can help you. The domestic and family life are playing a major role this month as well, and there can be a significant alteration in your residence. The eclipse on the 8th signals major changes, possibly connected to your profession. A promotion may require relocation, or perhaps you are able to upgrade your home as a result of higher salary or income. Your creative ingenuity plays a huge role in your success. You are cautious at the end of the month, as you carefully consider an opportunity. A heightened sense of responsibility has you weighing the pros and cons of a situation. Take your time, an even better option may present itself a few months down the road.

CAPRICORN: It could be a big moment for you professionally, Cap, as the Libra eclipse on the 23rd rocks your world, offering the breakthrough you have been working towards for months if not years. Jupiter – Pluto speaks right to your agenda and motivations, bolstering your ambitions and bringing a massive opportunity for success your way. Look to events you may have put into motion late October, early November. Culminating moments, a contract or fateful meeting on the 8th has life changing potential. The eclipse teams up with Jupiter and Pluto, sending ripples of incredible good fortune through your life. It seems you’ll be working primarily behind the scenes over the next few months, Mars comes to occupy a private and strategic part of your chart, where it remains through May. The course you take will see several changes and modifications, and you benefit from a more hands off approach while your ruler, Saturn, retrogrades from the 25th – August 13th. Slow and steady!

AQUARIUS: There can be good financial prospects this month, as the March 8th eclipse speaks to a wonderful opportunity. Meanwhile foggy and elusive Neptune suggests you take it nice and slowly with any agreements and make sure everything goes down on paper. There can be illusions in this cycle, and deception is also a possibility. Taken with a grain of salt and assuring that you will reality check your impulses to jump the shark on a financial endeavor, this is a highly creative phase and there are treasures within you that you can legitimately turn into profitable enterprises. You’ll find some of the pressure coming off in relation to your career, a far more social tone is present after the 6th. You may notice that it’s time to release bad habits associated with spending on the 12th, 17th or 30th, though it’s equally possible you discover a strategy you had tried to employ in relation to earnings and savings is not going to work out. As always, release the dead weight as quickly as possible in order to make space available for better opportunities.

PISCES: Potent forces are accumulating this month and remarkable and positive changes are due. The March 8th eclipse in your sign portends a significant shift in perspective, very likely in relation to a spouse or business alliance. Your social realm is very active and friends and networks will provide you with valuable opportunities for expansion, perhaps even leading to an introduction to someone with real partnership potential. You evolve quickly in this period, and self awareness is very strong. South Node contacts on the 12th, 17th and 30th will reveal what is done and dusted. It’s time to move on and away from the scenarios or individuals your intuition tells you are no longer supporting your growth. Professionally you are going to be quite active as you begin to negotiate the ladder of success. Be advised this is going to be a work in progress through August. Keep commitments flexible and negotiable. Some wiggle room to try out a few different avenues will help you considerably over the coming months.

STARGAZER FEBRUARY 2016

Constellation David Bowie, may you forever be the brightest of the stars in the sky.

February – Minefields and Maintenance

If January felt like a false start, worry not – it was due to the Mercury retrograde phase that lasted from January 6 – 26 that slowed our New Year’s progress considerably. Very potent forces are at work this month, particularly in the first half, that have a very favorable influence on business and commercial activities. Sun in Pisces from the 19th softens the edges considerably, until then the atmosphere is very productive as Mercury, Venus, Mars and Jupiter all collaborate effectively to assist us to meet our material and professional goals. Any traction you may have thought you lost last month is quickly made up for. The climate is serious and tenacious, and objectives are highly intensified in the first two weeks.

We do have the challenges of Venus – Pluto and Venus – Uranus to overcome on the 5th and 6th. Uranus and Pluto are still in tight angle, and Mercury retrograde recently brought light to this conflict December 20 – 21, 2015, then again in late January 21st and 22nd, and again the 30th and 31st. All these contacts pointed to hard confrontations with Uranus – Pluto, and trying to break through the incredible pressures we have felt as a result of their square (which has been a pervasive issue since June 24, 2012). This simmering, volatile confrontation between ourselves and circumstances or with others has been a major influence on this recent Mercury retrograde cycle in January. Mercury has articulated the issue, and now Venus enters the picture, appealing to our heart at this crucial turning point. Themes of power and control (Pluto) remain relevant, while the square to Uranus can suggest a highly unanticipated backlash. Love may indeed prove to be the catalyst for a major breakthrough at this time. These are hair-trigger minefield aspects, so proceed cautiously. It’s ultimately a personal choice each of us will make to engage with or disarm the conflicts that arise. (Feeling stressed? Check out the breathing exercise at the very bottom of this post. It helps me enormously when I feel overwhelmed!*)

Jupiter and the North Node remain in close proximity for the first week of the month. We are still being asked to see the bigger picture, and to use that awareness to meet the evolutionary goals of Virgo North Node. That goal is about doing something really, really well and a refinement of a project, product or the self are all indicated. With Virgo everything is in the details, so check and double check that the quality of each part of whatever it is you are working on is absolutely spot on perfect. Jupiter is retrograde so it’s more likely we are seeing the ways in which we didn’t handle the topic (of the house being transited in your chart) well enough. Retrogrades are all about re-evaluation, and on a more positive note, second chances. These two meet again in June, offering a huge boost up the evolutionary ladder where we now take the time to scrutinize what could be improved upon and then doing the work to make the project, product or ourselves better so we may fully take advantage of that second chance.

Mercury (Feb. 7), Venus (February 10th) and Mars (February 16th) tap the Nodal Axis, offering a vantage point that allows us to see both where we are headed and where we came from simultaneously. It’s easier now to reconcile to endings we have or will be making, (most likely during the South Node conjunctions occurring next month, as well as at the time of the Pisces eclipse March 8th,) so if you get intonations it’s time to start saying farewell to something or someone, (and this may be part of a highly internal process, preparing YOURSELF for transformative experiences ahead,) by all means, heed those cues. The intuition you get around these dates is highly accurate, and you may even notice serendipities occurring around you that tie into events that transpired late last August/early September or receive a premonitory flash of what is to come.

AQUARIUS NEW MOON Feb. 8th

aquarius new moon

Our viewpoint becomes radicalized as Sun transits Aquarius, followed by Mercury Feb. 14th and Venus Feb. 16th. The Aquarius New Moon on the 8th harmonizes the forming Aries/Uranus – Saturn/Sagittarius trine offering an exciting beginning within a project or association that will assist us in bringing matters to a phenomenal conclusion in December. With this we are thinking back to activities initiated as far back as 2011, so this can be tied into a real long range project that is currently receiving fresh impulses. On it’s own, the New Moon is mostly positive, though a square to Mars in Scorpio can suggest rash decisions coming out of an argument or that a confrontational episode can be in store. Scorpio can be quite obstinate, as can Aquarius in it’s own right. Not unlike the Uranus – Pluto square itself, (Uranus rules Aquarius and Pluto rules Scorpio, go figure!) the progressive and radical influences of Aquarius are being challenged by the harsh and punishing forces of Scorpio. Conversely, Scorpio’s desire for in depth transformation is disrupted by the unexpected events that occur. Use the New Moon to get to the bottom of a problem, be ready to rumble, and keep the emphasis on the long range dynamics.

The Sabian Symbol of the New Moon evokes the image of “A forest fire quenched” suggesting something in our lives that has grown disproportionately out of control (Mars in Scorpio?) is ready to be extinguished. We will use the best and most ingenious tools Aquarius offers to mitigate a potentially life threatening disaster. The rational mind is our greatest ally in confronting the challenge in front of us.

Sun in Pisces from the 19th offers a far more subdued ambience. A dreamy and introspective quality is present and reflection and day dreaming can be a facet over the upcoming weeks. A Full Moon in Virgo on the 22nd illuminates a desire to rest and reflect. Neptune is the prevailing influence over this lunation and we will seek a soul connection that offers a glimpse into the beautiful and etherial. The associated Sabian Symbol for Virgo 3 (the placement of the Virgo Full Moon) is “Two Guardian Angels Bringing Protection”. During this Lunation it is best to trust your inner guidance and intuition. Avoid the role of the martyr or victim of circumstance. Learn to listen to your inner voice.

STARGAZER HOROSCOPE FOR FEBRUARY 2016

ARIES – Career prospects continue to brighten as any indecision or false starts that were pervasive last month quickly recede into the past tense. Look to the 3rd, 5th, 7th and 10th for your best days in which to expand your influence or make a good impression. Mixing business with pleasure can have a catastrophic, or at least unexpected result on the 5th – 6th. Future perfect resides with a group of friends and allies, you seem to be working on a group project that genuinely enhances or showcases your talents brilliantly. The New Moon on the 8th can signal incredible developments, though a secret revealed (or betrayed) can prove a highly contentious influence. From the 19th it is withdraw, retreat and regroup. Sleep in, meditate or what ever helps you R + R, in a month it’s your birthday and with an eclipse brewing from your sign, things are going to change, really, really soon in ways you can’t even imagine.

TAURUS – There is a nice mix of professional, personal and social energy floating around this month. Should you find yourself on distant shores, a true love connection may be made, particularly around the 5th, 6th, 7th and 10th. Academic associates can have a similar effect. The work you do in the first half of the month towards your professional goals yields positive results and an elevated profile from the 16th. Your reputation is stellar and your commitment shines on the 29th. A New Moon affecting this area on the 8th can present wonderful opportunities, a partner doesn’t seem to share your enthusiasm, however, or there may be a conflict with a business partner over the direction of a joint project. Rather than sow the seeds of discontent, you can keep a low profile and do your work behind the scenes for the best result. The Virgo Full Moon on the 22nd sees a love relationship, your creativity or child/ren in view. The softening effect of Neptune will help you see the best in someone, highlighting an enticing romantic episode for you.

GEMINI – You start to feel more comfortable in your own skin, especially after the 14th as it becomes easier to express and articulate yourself. Pleasurable experiences in store from the 18th enhance feelings of attraction and self worth. The first half sees you busy behind the scenes, as a work project is demanding a great deal of your attention. Your productivity is yielding very positive results, particularly around the 3rd, 7th and 10th, keep at it! Aquarius New Moon on the 8th can be contentious, a work mate or project throws a wrench into travel plans that can have you steaming. Your ideologies can equally be challenged. Professional objectives come into focus after the 19th. Sun – Neptune combined on the 28th signals an ideal you would like to reach in your profession. You can make an ally the following day who will help you reach your summit.

CANCER – Things continue to amplify in a love relationship. The first two weeks are telling of how deep your feelings go. The 3rd, 5th and 7th are extraordinary for cultivating a meaningful bond, you can easily express your feelings on the 10th. The New Moon on the 8th affects your intimacy sector and Very Serious relationships, including those that you have with banks and creditors, i.e. financial agreements. Challenges arise through a lover or your children, who somehow come into conflict with your desire to make such commitments. It’s a perplexing one, though your profession benefits from choices you make now. Weigh the pros and cons before you commit. The 6th also features vexing influences. Sun in Pisces from the 19th puts you back in your comfort zone, and a conjunction to Neptune on the 28th can see you dreaming of distant shores.

LEO – Work and productivity are the major arena of your attention for the first half, though a relationship also has you riveted. Following the twists and turns of last month you’ll be happy to find a new normal in your work schedule or routine. Venus promises good relations with coworkers, particularly around the 7th and 10th and you will find success with projects, including those related to health and wellness on these days. The New Moon on the 8th can generate friction at your residence or with a close family or partner. You are mostly in your element, but a cranky live in or problem with the house throws everything haywire. From the 16th it’s all eyes on a special someone, you can make an enduring commitment on the 29th. Financials are a focus after the 19th, be very cautious about agreements made with banks or other entities around the 28th, you simply aren’t seeing the whole picture.

VIRGO – Your work life and productivity are peaking (just as you like it) and there are really wonderful opportunities throughout the month to make substantial progress at your job. The love life is also quite fulfilling, and sweeping changes on the periphery can be signaled during the Full Moon in your sign on the 22nd. An eclipse falling in opposition to your sign next month is going to present a major (positive) upset to the status quo. You begin to feel this in your bones by the 19th. Very promising romantic moments on the 5th, 7th and 10th can bring new people into your orbit, or allow you to cultivate an ongoing relationship. A very passionate moment on the 5th shows you how deep your love goes. Fantasy looms large on the 28th, all is not what it seems. Domestic concerns can be effectively dealt with on the 25th and 29th.

LIBRA – You begin to stir from your winter hibernation, though the first two weeks may still see you keeping it close to home. The New Moon on the 8th signals it is time for pleasure, though niggling financial issues can put a damper on your more leisurely pursuits. Use the signals you get at this time to address how much effort you need to put into your revenue stream. The results favor an eclectic relationship you would like to see develop over the coming year. The 3rd and 13th have favorable financial indications and you can seal the deal on an important contract around these dates. From the 16th you are back in your element and it’s let the good times roll, for the most part. The Full Moon on the 22nd sees you releasing something, a whole way of life is coming to an end. This happens in a very private part of your chart, and is the culmination of a very personal exit strategy you have been working on for over a year. Next month your life changes completely. Release what you need to now to make space for what lies ahead.

SCORPIO – You find the words to articulate what could not be said last month as a gentle and even romanic ambience pervades in your day to day life. You may strike up a conversation in the most unlikely of places, the 7th and 10th can bring lovely interactions with potential for more. A passionate conversation on the 5th can lead to a better understanding of the motives and desires of a lover. Domestic concerns are still significant, there can be a very confrontational episode with someone attached to your residence on the 8th. A more positive inroads can be made on the home front after the 16th. Romance and pleasure feature largely as Sun moves into Pisces on the 19th, and you will seek an ideal love connection on the 28th. You are persuasive on the 3rd and 13th. Set meetings and presentations for these dates, you will convey yourself with the right balance of tact and assertiveness. Financial matters can be effectively dealt with on the 25th and 29th.

SAGITTARIUS – The ambience continues to become more social for you, with indications throughout the month for activities and excursions. Finances are still significant through the first half, as very positive circumstances unfold on the 3rd, 5th, 7th and 10th that add to your earnings in a positive way. Unexpected expenses on the 6th can provide an upset. The family and home dynamic becomes emphasized after the 19th, with the Full Moon on the 22nd indicating a professional opportunity that could potentially require relocation. All the pieces fall into place next month during the Pisces eclipse. What you feel in your bones on the 7th, 10th and 16th is quite revealing of what is in store. Watch words and guard your secrets on the 8th. A stormy New Moon in Aquarius offers a wonderful beginning in a communications based project taped right into your self expression and creativity, but a force from behind the scenes throws in a tempestuous influence. Proceed with caution.

CAPRICORN – The best part of having Venus in your sign, (through the 16th,) is being able to put yourself first without regret or retribution. The 3rd, 5th, 6th, 7th, 10th and 13th are all very positive for you in matters of both business and pleasure. A harmonious relationship between Venus and Mars combined with commercially oriented Mercury and Jupiter provide the perfect ambience to not only go after (Mars) but receive (Venus) what you desire. All aspects of life are positively enhanced by these transits. The financial realm is stimulated, just be cautious around the 8th, when an opportunity may undermined by a friend or colleague. People seek to express their opinion and exert influence on you. Better financial auspices are present from the 16th. The 6th can see contemptuous influences in your home or residence. Time for a radical reappraisal of what you are willing to live with. Take care of yourself in this phase, next month brings dynamic and sudden changes to the status quo and you will need all your energy and faculties ready to jump on the (professional) opportunity that is going to be presented.

AQUARIUS – The professional forces continue to be a strong influence, though as you close in on your birthday (or have already) you seem to be experiencing growing pains as you try to define the role you see yourself serving in society. The New Moon in your sign on the 8th can be quite contentious in this regard. A boss or the requirements of your career commitments seem to really be at odds with your personal expression. You have allies and amigos who will provide incredible assistance to you as you navigate the challenges ahead. Things get way better after the 16th when Venus brings her good vibrations into your sign for a nice sweet month. Mercury also in your sign after the 13th brings a brisk and exciting tempo to the daily life. Meaningful romantic and business alliances can be formed on the 25th and 29th. Be very wary of financial schemes around the 28th. Somehow you just won’t get what you bargained for.

PISCES – It’s better late than never where the realization of your most cherished aspirations is concerned. Venus makes highly beneficial aspects (look at the 5th, 7th, 10th, specifically) highlighting positive social opportunities and the projects you are doing with a group or organization. Transformation is brewing and you begin to get indications (the 7th, 10th, 16th and 22nd offer vital clues) that your whole life is about to change. Indeed it is, as a powerful eclipse in your sign March 8th upends the status quo entirely, and probably for the better. From mid month you go undercover, building up your inner reservoir for all that is about to come into being. Professional matters see positive developments on the 25th and 29th. Tune into your most etherial self on the 28th. A vision or intuition guides you for the coming year.

STARGAZER DECEMBER OVERVIEW – VENUS IN SCORPIO: INTO THE CHASM

Mercury goes into shadow on December 20th, on a conjunction to Pluto at 14 Cap. This will be one of the predominant themes of the upcoming retrograde cycle (January 6 – 26) and matters that enter negotiations now will experience modifications through January 31. Events and conversations today will signal the beginning of this process. Mercury with Pluto adds intensification to our thinking, and suggests much is going on in secret, perhaps even subversively. With Venus in Scorpio adding allure to that which is hidden and mysterious, this particular cycle is about depth and reaching far beyond the shallow artifices of the material realm.

Saturn in Scorpio brought a profound appraisal of intimacy and sexuality and taught us the value of the connections and the commitments we make with others. The message was not to take them lightly, nor take them for granted. With Saturn having moved on and this the first transit of Venus since, we are given the opportunity to build on these lessons and now cultivate a more passionate bond with our lover, spouse or mate. There is the potential of healing now through intimacy as well as the relationships through which we experience them. The transformational power of love is heightened and the experiences we have through sexual relationships brings us into a direct confrontation with the depths of our very being. A significant catharsis occurs now. Venus trine Neptune, Venus sextile Pluto and Jupiter as well as Venus trine Chiron (Dec. 20th- 17 Scorpio/Pisces) transits stimulate a very potent ambience for cultivating deeply meaningful romantic bonds.

Sagittarius Sun and Libra Mars continue to bestow a very optimistic and generous social ambience. The mood is upbeat and outgoing. The New Moon on the 11th portends a very beneficial but likely unanticipated event. Connections to Mars (sextile) and Uranus (in opposition) indicate an opportunity timing back to an innovative project we began around March 11th when Mars – Uranus conjoined at 14 Aries. There are some really stimulating and electrifying currents to be sure. Mars square Pluto earlier in the week suggests there are some obstacles to overcome, and even a confrontation with very obstinate and oppositional forces. We may find we have the courage or conviction to fight against the restrictions we have been living with and stand up for ourselves.

Sun (Dec. 19) and Mercury (Dec. 8) square to the Nodes signals a need to reorient ourselves to the evolutionary intent of North Node in Virgo. We got clues to these changes in March and September during the eclipses. Because we don’t know what the future looks like yet, we likely experience this more as a reminder of what we must release and let go of to get there. Although these transits can be some what painful, (letting go is always tough!) the awareness stimulated now is very useful, allowing us to check in with ourselves and see where we are headed. Intuition is strong during these transits and much can be learned from engaging the sensitivity we encounter.

Uranus goes direct on the 26th, bringing the forces of liberation back into the midst. For 12 days ONLY (Jupiter goes retrograde on January 8th,) ALL THE PLANETS are direct!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

DECEMBER SCOPES:

ARIES – You continue to devote your energy to a partnership, and intimacy can deepen in this phase for you and your love interest. A great deal of passionate energy is surfacing in a close relationship, though this can be a period of friction if you don’t see eye to eye. Work, business and finance continue to be significant topics, with much due to percolate for you around New Years in your professional sphere. 2016 – 2017 will be about moving towards a new plateau in your career, and returning to college, travel or teaching may be in the works over the coming months so that you may prepare yourself for the professional role you will soon be undertaking. A great deal of commitment is involved, but the rewards are enormous if you stay the course. 2015 managed to settle a great deal of relational issues for you, and you have hopefully had some truly magical and loving moments with someone you can hold dear to you as you move into the future.

TAURUS – Romance and revelry will be on your mind throughout December: the 11th and 24th feature the most auspicious alinements you can possibly get as a relationship deepens and converges harmoniously. You went through a lot of challenges within your intimate relationships over the last few years, this will be a period of positive interaction and perhaps a kindred meeting is in the midst for you. Travel may be in view during the final week, keep your itinerary open. You are still busy on the job throughout, screwball comedy and clashes of will will keep the workplace interesting to say the least. Try for “sick days” on the 6th and 10th, when this peaks in intensity. Really stunning moments to tap into the source of pleasure and express your feelings on the 25th and 29th. The Full Moon collaborates here and your heart will feel quite at ease as the year comes to an end.

GEMINI – With domestic issues resolved, attention turns to your mate, (past, present or future,) not to be confused with the ghosts who haunted Ebenezer Scrooge, though it may feel that way at times with Saturn transiting your 7th house. There is very good potential during the Sagittarius New Moon on the 11th to meet someone who shares your hopes, wishes and dreams, and while you may feel a bit sentimental, if you want to tune into the future, it’s right in front of you. Happy New Year!

STARGAZER 2016 OVERVIEW: Retrograde Mars – The Renegade Wanderer

The two predominant issues we’ll be dealing with in 2016 will be the mutable cross between Jupiter – Virgo / Saturn – Sagittarius / Neptune – Pisces (with the nodes on the Pisces – Virgo Axis, no less!) and the Retrograde of Mars from Sagittarius back into the dark nether regions of passionate Scorpio during the Summer. Overall, it’s not a bad year, by degrees far less challenging than the last few, and minus a few set backs in the first half, from August things are set to get really, really good. Careful planning and waiting for the right time to execute will yield treasures in December, when a fascinating aspect pattern known as a bowl illuminates and confers incredible achievement, attainment and exciting exchanges.

Mars goes retrograde from April 18th – June 30th (from 8 Sagittarius – 23 Scorpio). The contact of Mars sextile to Jupiter February 13th signals the last outer planetary exchange the fiery planet of impulse and action makes until August 24th, when it conjuncts Saturn. Retrograde energy tends to have a renegade, almost subversive quality to it anyway, as it is perceived to function in a way that does not comply with societal norms somehow. Without influence from outer planets (and even the Nodes) for such a duration, it would seem for most of 2016 Mars is allowed to set much of it’s own agenda, even if that agenda is carried out in slow motion. It seems we’ll be saying goodbye in February (in either mind, body or spirit) as we undertake a personal, and even primordial journey (particularly while Mars transits back through Scorpio in June and July,) in preparation for that momentous meeting with Saturn. The activities we undertake may be highly personal, if not classified or covert, and will most definitely be concealed from the outside world until this Fall.

The retrograde period can signify a reconsideration of how we externalize and pursue our desires. As Venus indicates the way in which we most readily receive pleasure, Mars indicates how we take action to obtain what we want. For a while we might just be unsure of the appropriate course, though equally the thing or person we would seek in pursuit may also be unavailable to receive the advances. It seems either the destination or the route to get there is uncertain. From August, we’ll know precisely where we are headed. For now don’t rush. This is a very important time for soul searching.

A shift in the energy level should be anticipated with a retrograde Mars, as the pace or agenda changes substantially, and you may even intuit this change as early as February. Life doesn’t stop, just the output level changes, and this makes for a difficult period in which to begin new projects. As with any retro phase, we deal with repercussions of the actions we have taken over the prior two years, particularly if they were overtly aggressive or in relation to a masculine partner. It’s possible we’ll reconsider an affiliation, though this will be more likely if Mars is transiting one of the relational houses of your chart (4, 5, 7 or 8).

Mars and Venus, the cosmic lovers, do connect on several occasions, so the love/sex life presumably doesn’t suffer too much. An intimate relationship may in fact be the one thing that keeps us tied to earthbound matters while we take our journey into the hinterlands. From Scorpio (May 28 – August 2), retrograde Mars sees a deep intensification of passion, we’ll long for intimate connection, though we may have to wait until August to fulfill those desires. Perceptible intonations of the delays we experienced last summer (as Saturn transited these precise degrees of the Scorpio/Sagittarius cusp) may resonate. We may not be home free from the time of their conjunction (August 24th), but we have certainly come prepared to move the bloody mountain.

AND VENUS TOO!

Venus and the Sun renew their cycle in conjunction June 6th at 15 Gemini, a rather pernicious placement as it falls smack dab on the mutable cross involving Jupiter (Virgo), Saturn (Sagittarius), Neptune (Pisces) as well as the Nodal Axis. Ouch! It’s possible a relationship stimulated around this time is severely tested by external circumstances. The love is there, but many things vie for and demand attention, and with so much going on it may make it difficult to nurture the relationship. The Sun – Venus conjunction also represents the half way point between retrograde cycles. In 10 months we’ll receive the results of what we initiate at this time when Venus retrogrades in Aries – Pisces next March (2017).

Ongoing relationships will stage up, that is move to the next level of involvement or commitment. With all the Mutable Cross activity, it will be a very active period with much to attend to. This will not be the best time to plan any significant activity, i.e. starting a new business, planning for a vacation or a wedding. The ambience is incredibly vitalized, but there are just too many details to attend to all at once! The square of Sun – Venus to the Nodes suggests the relationship is being evaluated in regard to it’s ability to evolve towards the orientation of the future. This represents a crossroads and an affiliation may be reconsidered. It’s ok to pass on making a big decision for now. After August, when the ashes have scattered and the air has cleared, it becomes much easier to proceed.

A whole lotta Mutable Cross:

Jupiter square Saturn – (August 3, 2015) March 23, May 26 (2016)
Saturn square Neptune – (November 26, 2015) June 17, September 10 (2016)

We continue to see the unravelling effects of the Grand Water trine (Saturn, Neptune, Jupiter) of 2013 into the mutable t-square. We are encouraged/challenged to manifest (Saturn) and expand (Jupiter) a vision or dream (Neptune). All the t- square aspects have already occurred once by December 1st, 2015. This year through September sees realignment and reconfiguration, using the awareness that became stimulated during those initial aspects in Fall 2015 to reorganize our lives. Remember the old saying “third times the charm”? It has to be a reference to Saturn’s retrograde and the three aspects it generally makes as a result. The first aspect signals something requires our attention, the second to see how well we fared in trying to resolve it and then make modifications, the third the conclusive result and our final attempt at resolution. Put it to the test and use the dates above to see how it works out for you! It’s not necessarily bad, or good, it’s just about getting it together and finding a way to serve needs that currently feel incredibly disparate. T-squares stimulate a dynamic atmosphere, sending signals that it’s time to take action and this is not necessarily a bad thing. IMO, it’s way less abrasive than what we endured during the Cardinal Cross and Uranus – Pluto squares over the last few years. Like David Bowie said: Ch-Ch-Ch-Changes.

The Nodes interacting on the Mutable cross does up the ante considerably. The changes we seek or even require to make are tied up with destiny and karma we may not fully understand yet. The most dynamic and challenging aspects are the square of Saturn to the Nodal Axis and South Node to Neptune. Saturn square to the nodes calls us to evaluate the goals we seeded during the conjunction phase (8 Scorpio, mid September 2013,) and place them in the current context of the evolutionary drive represented by NN Virgo. What are we building, and why? (Hey, there’s that 2013 again… I’m seeing a pattern forming, hopefully you do too 😉 This occurs October 8th, at 12 degrees Sagittarius. A crossroads quality is felt very intuitively at this point, and we’ll be making a decision that really sets a course for the next few years based on how well (or not) the late 2013 agenda is panning out. Saturn will conjunct South Node at 20 Capricorn in April 2019, in some way concluding the cycle began during the initial contact at 8 Scorpio, as well as the outcome of the decisions we make during this critical turning point in October.

Conjunctions to the South Node, particularly to Neptune, will reveal what needs to be released. It’s time to get real, so to speak, and the Nodal contacts will be reminders of precisely which behaviors, attitudes and circumstances have passed their expiry date. The most productive use of the South Node contacts is to determine what isn’t working anymore and simply drop it/him or her for the hot mess that it is. North Node in Virgo prizes pragmatism and efficiency after all! Jupiter conjunct NN in January points us in the right direction, and this aspect repeats on June 21st reminding us to stay the course. Squares to the Nodes by transiting planets can be a quite dramatic point of reconciling ourselves to the changes taking place as we realign with the evolutionary journey we are on. How successfully we are managing that reorientation will suggest how intensely we experience the square transits.

The eclipse cycle this year continues to fall on the Pisces/Virgo axis, and for the most part are milder than some we have had over the last few years. Meanwhile the Gemini New Moon June 4th falls right on the Nodal axis, completing the Mutable Cross. (See chart above!) The first two weeks of June are easily the most intense, noisy and complicated of the entire year. This lunation precedes the second Saturn – Neptune square (June 17th) by a couple weeks. With Saturn retrograde at this time, we’re really seeing the karmic implications of what we wrought in November – December 2015. This is a good time, (assuming we can work through everything going on,) to determine the right course based on what we are seeing in June to get on the right track prior to the final Saturn – Neptune square in September. North Node in Virgo reminds us that if we remain methodical and seek a solution, one will come, and a really stabilizing Grand Earth trine from Mercury – Taurus, Pluto – Cap, and Jupiter – Virgo underscores the mania with a steadying current that supports acquisition and material prosperity.

2016 Bowl

JUPITER IN LIBRA + THE BOWL

It’s a pretty safe bet that the first 8 months of 2016 are really just about getting it together and setting the stage for what happens when Jupiter enters Libra on September 10th. While Jupiter in Virgo emphasized our efficiency and aided in the organization of our affairs, from Libra there are going to be some big developments on queue. Be wary of power dynamics that could surface when Jupiter squares Pluto on November 24th. Outside of that, things get really exciting for the rest of the year with very harmonious linkages and the more challenging issues far back in the rear view mirror.

This culminates at the end of the year when a bowl pattern forms linking up the Jupiter – Uranus opposition with Saturn in positive aspect to both. It’s a really brilliant time. It was in June of 2010 that Jupiter and Uranus linked up at 0’ Aries, signaling a very innovative project or new way of thinking was initiated. Also in the mix was Saturn in opposition at 0’ Libra. In January of 2011 we were well on the way to a brand new frontier of being, one that is ready to manifest in the final months of 2016. With Saturn so supportive within this configuration, we have genuinely built something substantial and long lasting into our lives. Venus and Mars transit from Aquarius, harmonizing fruitfully from November into December. This is a really amazing thing, and something to look forward to, especially if there are some dicey or challenging moments in the first two thirds. Look to events around March 6th as well as mid – July as Jupiter and Uranus quincunx in Virgo – Aries. We are compelled to finish the work of the cycle. Things really come together at the end of the year. A strange brew of optimism, innovation and perseverance pay off! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

MERCURY RETRO CYCLES IN EARTH SIGNS

Mercury Retrograde Dates 2016:
January 6th – 26th; 1’ Aquarius – 14’ Capricorn
April 29th – May 23rd; 23’ Taurus – 14’ Taurus
August 31 – September 22nd; 29’ Virgo – 14’ Virgo
December 19 – January 8, 2017; 15’ Capricorn – 28’ Sagittarius

Mercury transits retrograde in the Earth trinity (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn) this year suggesting material considerations will factor for all. Resources will be the cause for question and you may wonder more than once where and when the money is coming from, though this is also a positive time for creating new strategies for earnings, savings or investments. Extensive contacts between Mercury and Jupiter/North Node in Virgo aids productivity enormously. Finding efficient ways of doing things proves beneficial and helps reduce expenses. With strong indications between Mercury to the Virgo – North Node/Jupiter and Capricorn/Pluto trine, really substantial growth and prosperity is possible where you are willing to put in the work. Pluto adds a great deal of depth, introversion and intensity to our thought process. We will be driven to find solutions towards tangible and transformative results.

Mercury RX note: In some cases there may be an absent mindedness with possessions, and losing things could pose a potential in this cycle. It may be worthwhile to set aside very important articles such as official documents, heirlooms or jewelry to a safe place, like a safe deposit box.

The 1st retro phase is tied into the Pluto/Uranus square dynamic and can be quite prickly as obstinate and disruptive forces clash and deter our progress throughout January. Hopefully we unentangle ourselves from this one quickly: Mars/Scorpio, Jupiter + North Node/Virgo are supportive in February and steer us back in the right direction.

The 2nd retro phase taps brilliantly into the Jupiter/North Node – Pluto trine, completing the earth trinity from Taurus. The RX cycle lasts the first 3 weeks of May and although we’ll have to make an effort to get the financials in order due to the retrograde, the overall the climate is incredibly productive and positive. Venus from Taurus augments this brilliantly making prosperity a distinct possibility this month.

Retrograde #3 transits Virgo, allowing us to really get to the nitty gritty in our endeavors, especially those that had been compromised during the Mars retrograde transit. Mercury is conjunct Jupiter for several weeks (August 20th – September 9th) and trine Pluto for the last two weeks of September. There will be some delays, but it’s really in this late September, early October period we drive it all home, especially now with Mars finally cooperating. Dream big and look to October 11th for a massive victory!

The final retrograde in December – January 2017 takes place in Capricorn, still in tight alinement to Pluto throughout the end of the year. Uranus has progressed far enough away by now to not be a contentious influence. Mars and Neptune from Pisces are harmonious at the year’s end and will provide a gentle ambience. Creative and visionary pursuits are highlighted, and a strong psychic influence provides access to the astral realms. Enjoy!

STARGAZER FORECAST APRIL 2015

March saw the end of a way of life for many of us, it was time to clear the way for the new and radically improved which we’ll come into this month. The positive influence of Jupiter direct at 12′ 35″ Leo on the 8th of the month cannot be understated. The growth and emancipation we have been seeking has sufficiently gestated, we’ve spent a great deal of time since last December considering what, where and how to reach our destination. At the end of that rainbow lies expansion of our enterprises, relationships, joy and fulfillment as well as the most positive expression of our generosity. The last few months were theoretical in nature: what lies ahead, and how do we get there? Though frustrating, the appraisal of what was and was not successful from the period of late Summer into Fall (2014) was both necessary and illuminating. Saturn testing the waters of Sagittarius added some structure to this philosophical inquiry, and allowed for the integration of strategy to inform our next moves, which will transpire this month.

Challenges from planets in Scorpio hindered progress during the period last Fall, as we were dealing with some pretty heavy stuff where relationships and money were concerned, and transformative events (November was pretty critical,) relegated our spiritual growth and personal potential to circumstances that demanded attention. Rested and refreshed, we emerge awake and engaged. The transit of the Sun through Aries is brilliantly timed and acts as a willing collaborator to the very auspicious developments occurring throughout April. Thursday April 2nd sees the trine of Sun to Jupiter from 12 Aries/Leo. See it as the Sun giving Jupiter a little wake up nudge, calling the sleeping giant to come out and play. Saturn will also harmonize Juno in Leo on this day, so making a commitment to someone or something will be beneficial and support the long range goals. Mercury, too, jumps into Aries (from March 30th) and lends a hand through communication. By the time of the Sun – Mercury conjunction (19 Aries) on the 10th, we see a clear course ahead!

The Lunar Eclipse, 14′ 24″ Libra, falling on April 4th will catapult us into the future, ready or not! Unlike the eclipse last year, which fell in the cross hairs of the Cardinal Cross, and elicited a pretty stormy phase of activity, this eclipse is reconciled through a harmonious link between the Sun and Moon to Jupiter (trine Sun, sextile Moon), so we are getting support on both ends from the benevolent contact made at this time. (The placement of Jupiter in your current chart is crucial to understanding where this benevolent assistance comes from.) The prickly Uranus – Pluto issues will continue to tie in, but the strength of that alinement is dissipating quickly.

Lunar nodes continue to activate a need to reconcile our independence with the evolutionary emphasis on partnership, by creating bonds with others to work mutually towards shared goals, enterprises or through love. Strong signals on the 1st (Sun conjunct South Node – 10 Aries) and 5th (Mercury conjunct South Node – 9 Aries) will point out how successfully we are attending to this, or conversely, serving an outmoded agenda. The Nodes, like the Moon, represent and function within a highly subjective space, guarded and hidden, sometimes even to ourselves. With contacts to the South Node, the liminal space between subconscious and conscious becomes bridged and hidden, negative patterns can become illuminated. This can be instructive for recognizing these limitations, but there can be a possibility of subconscious sabotage where we feel circumstances have become too narrow or limiting, as well. Events occurring or awareness triggered on these dates, or those that transpired March 2nd or 7th all tapped into this with everything being brought home during the eclipse.

It is in this liminal space that the potent nature of eclipses is most evident. As the South Node is activated, we find that certain impulses towards necessary endings are triggered. Again, this can happen right beneath the radar of our consciousness, and that we maneuver for these changes whether we are aware of our behavior or not. That job, relationship, or whatever – that is past it’s expiration date will come to an end, and the Nodes have been actively indicating this for a while. The eclipse is the catalyst for finalization. While events can feel disruptive, when we are able to stand away from them a few months or even a year down the line we realize that change (usually represented by endings by a Lunar Eclipse) had to occur.

Mars from Taurus (March 31st) offers a stable underpinning, energy is steady and persevering during this transit. Very constructive efforts can be made through out the month, with the 21st highly instrumental in the developments of the month over all. The New Moon in Aries on the 18th offers vitalizing awareness to new beginnings, where and how we should proceed. More on the other transits and aspects as they occur! ENJOY your month!

STARGAZER WEEKLY HOROSCOPES March 29 – April 4:

**Get the most out of your forecast by reading for your Sun sign as well as Ascendant, or Rising Sign. You can get your chart for free on astro.com**

ARIES: Things get far more interesting and enjoyable, as you feel more communicative and seek to share your thoughts with others. A love relationship or creative prospect that has been sitting in the queue since December begins to send signals of a vital reawakening. Mars – Taurus will make you feel more grounded and pragmatic. You are willing to take things one solid step forward at a time and willing to genuinely invest yourself in your efforts. Events and commitments made Thursday will prove valuable and enduring, which ties neatly into this slow and steady theme. Of course an eclipse accenting your sign can precipitate a massive development within a partnership, one that has either been on the way out for a long time may come to an end, or offer up a whole new relationship that opens your heart and mind to incredible cosmic/karmic potentials. Someone you meet in this period may feel distinctly connected to your destiny, and plays a major role in your future, either as a business partner or an eventual true love interest. April 7th also reveals a stunning piece of information or development around this, so keep your ears and eyes peeled. If you find yourself on the fare thee well side of the spectrum and endings are in tow, Jupiter will boost your confidence and enhance your sense of humor and perspective. With Mercury in your sign for the next 2 weeks, connectivity is enhanced and you can readily articulate your goals and desires. Thursday is optimal for negotiations or speaking with an impact.

TAURUS: Very stimulating romantic vibrations continue to be on tap, and there can be a real intensification of commitment or intimacy Monday. Mars from your sign on Tuesday will encourage bold and courageous movement for Taurus. This also stimulates the libido, perfect timing. Otherwise, a lot has been stirring around in the subconscious realm, now you have the wherewithal to come out of the clouds and get your feet back on the ground and into motion on a very personal goal or endeavor. Mercury comes to occupy this place, connecting to the Sun, so the hidden dimensions and a need for reflection and privacy will endure for a few more weeks, though you will notice a real shift in your energy level this week. Events or conversations on Thursday will be highly revealing, as your own unbeknownst motives shine through. This is a productive time for a personal inquiry into your deepest desires and what really makes you tick. The eclipse next weekend portends a health or work related change, and there may be a really substantial shift towards becoming a more valuable or productive member at your workplace, a new assignment or the completion of one that sets you on the course for a whole new job.

GEMINI: Mars comes to occupy the hidden, interior realm of your subconscious realm, joining Venus for a sultry, behind the scenes rendezvous. You can tap into your most forbidden fantasies and desires under this alinement, though feelings of ethereality and spirituality are also indicated. Endings may also become a focus in the upcoming weeks. Baggage you have held onto past it’s expiry is up for review, and it’s time to shed the past in favor of the future. Your romantic life gleams with promise this weekend, as an eclipse stimulates a promising affair of the heart, or mutually triggers an urgent desire for self expression. The people you share your life with, friends and groups in particular play an interesting role in what develops. On one hand a social event or occasion can bring you the introduction of a lifetime, on the other hand your association with your go to group of friends could be holding you back from making a meaningful connection with someone one on one. Thursday is great for breaking the ice and a groundbreaking conversation if you need to sort through some relationship dynamics. Reaching out to others comes naturally and easily in this phase.

CANCER: You continue to get highly supportive vibrations this week towards your professional aims. Over the next two weeks, there will be a great deal of communication within your professional realm, a new position that came into frame during March may be gaining momentum. Thursday is spectacular for negotiating a raise or salary connected to your job or a new position/promotion. Mars comes to emphasize friends and networks over the coming weeks, amping up the social life and urging you to extend your connectivity and group dynamics. Sharing the work load, and finding people who can support your dreams and aspirations will be a source of energy and stimulation. The eclipse over the weekend will signal shifting arrangements in regard to the residence and domestic life. Ongoing changes in circumstances here (likely influenced by issues connected to your career or within a partnership) over the last two years will finally come connected and present an opportunity – you may have desired this, or it may come on totally unexpectedly! It seems that your earnings act as a very positive feature, enhancing your ability to shift circumstances at home in your favor. Relocation to accept a prestigious work opportunity may also be a factor here.

LEO: Pay close attention to how you feel on Monday, the Moon transiting your sign sensitizes you, and you begin to feel rumblings of positive changes set to occur within yourself and your environment. Mars from Taurus on Tuesday signals a shift in energy towards achievement and accomplishment, as you design it for yourself. The atmosphere will be competitive and enlivening. Those who challenge you within your sphere of influence actually push you to do your best. A compliment from an associate early in the week reminds you of who you are and what you care about about. Thursday is stellar for promoting yourself and your ideas. Your boundless enthusiasm is beginning to resurface and you can be very effective in communication and PR work done at this time. The eclipse Saturday will likely bring substantial changes to your day to day life, communication or within a relationship with a sibling. The upcoming weeks will likely be very busy and you do well to get out into your community and focus on the people in your neighborhood. If you have been trying to make time to commit to a blog or writing project, this can also prove an auspicious time.

VIRGO: You engage passionately with friends and loved ones this week. An emphasis on commitment and intimate relationships that engender trust are highlighted as compelling developments, particularly on Monday and Thursday, bring you closer to your heart’s desire. Mars from Taurus will give you considerable energy. There is a desire to connect with others socially or even towards a group endeavor at this time. Reach out to those you may have lost touch with – while you have benefitted from privacy over the prior months, you may have lost contact with a few people who would probably love to catch up with you. A transit of the Moon through your sign mid week is harmonious, and you can find recreation and leisure activities very enjoyable. The eclipse Saturday portends some significant shifts in your financial affairs, both the money you earn and that of a spouse or parter will be implicated over the coming period. There is a very positive potential to find a more independent route to financial security, as you may have become wary of any reliance on others to carry their end of the burden. Clues mid week reveal the direction you should take.

LIBRA: With an eclipse upcoming in your sign, nothing else really matters, but of course you and possibly your key partnership(s). Life changing events have likely already signaled the direction of sweeping transformation (a story that has played out over the prior year) with more in store from this weekend and over the next 6 months. Much of this has to do with a process of personal redefinition that has directly implicated your partnerships. Endings and beginnings feature largely during such a potent phase as this and with Mars in Taurus, (your house of sex, death and transformation) a relationship can heat up quickly as you address your evolving security needs. This can apply mutually to a business or love relationship, though the key ingredient here is TRUST and the extent to which you have learned to trust yourself will be reflected in how successfully you can navigate the upcoming terrain and receive the cooperation of others. The Sun continues to amplify attention towards commitment and relationship, with Mercury joining in the conversation (and suggesting there will be many) from the beginning of the week. Midweek is a good time in which to dispose of any worn out models of conduct in a relationship. Uranus is advocating for authentic involvement, and while this may bring disruptive people into your orbit, substantial growth is indicated within the realm of how and with whom you are learning to relate to.

SCORPIO: Clues at the beginning of the week signal your professional aspirations are about to awaken from dormancy. You feel both positive and content that the efforts you have put forth since the middle of last year may be ready to bear some fruit. Even more astonishing indications are offered Thursday, and a pervasive sense of enthusiasm and excitement really begins to precipitate. Events at this time offer a sense of assurance that the choices of the prior weeks and months were correct. Something is relinquished in this phase, and there may be a need to mourn or reflect on it’s passing. A part of you, your life and your consciousness has truly come to and end, and it is time to let it go. Events mid week will signal this, with the eclipse Saturday bringing everything home. You’ve been quite aware of this transformation for a long time, as it has played out in the deepest part of your psyche for over a year. In this period you realize, perhaps, it’s not just time to say goodbye, but that is has already left. With every breath you release it. Acknowledgment of it’s departure may prove to be more equivocally more significant than it’s actual demise was. You may actually be relieved, especially when you become aware that what was left behind was limiting your perspective or diminishing your self worth. You are finally beginning to see you have what it takes. Go there instead.

SAGITTARIUS: Positive developments continue to coalesce this week, enhancing your self expression or even a love relationship with someone from a distance. Recent events stimulated remarkable creative urges, Mercury now enters the picture and you can easily articulate these feelings through art, writing or pleasurable enterprises. Thursday is phenomenal for taking on a new project related to your creativity or self expression. The ambience is also ripe for expressing romantic feelings to someone you care for. Mars in Taurus from Tuesday makes this a good period in which to address health and life management issues. You can effectively create a new workout routine or tackle a project that requires energy and motivation. If you have been seeking employment, this is a good time to push for a new position. Monday is particularly positive to find a job that offers a lucrative income. The eclipse on Saturday effects your social milieu, you may see significant progress within a group you work with, and be putting the finishing touches on a project or even gain admission to a prestigious club or organization.

CAPRICORN: There are positive indications this week to make a merger of heart, body and mind as transits and Mars in Taurus stimulate erotic and sensual undertones. Pleasure and romance feature quite favorably, though a financial agreement may also be on the queue. Prospects towards arrangements of mutual benefit (business or pleasure) have been on hold since the end of last year are finally gearing up for an exciting new development. Thursday’s enticing alinements allow you to bring beneficial energy into your domestic realm via an intimate agreement. An eclipse in the house of fame, career and status points to a significant reckoning in your professional life. It might be time to step up to the plate and make your aspirations come true, or you might reach a long worked towards milestone of achievement around this time. A tense square to Pluto in your sign suggests you might be a bit obstinate towards claiming the opportunities that arise around this point, though mutually a spouse or benefactor features largely here and a substantial sum of money might be a part of the picture. A sudden change (Uranus) to the domestic arrangements also factors here.

AQUARIUS: Feelings within your closest relationships will be amplified this week, as your spouse or a business partner is coming into a phase of success and you feel very proud of their accomplishments. There may be cause for celebration and you can circle Thursday as a great day for festivities. Communication is vitalized and enhances your social life and day to day experiences. This is a positive period for catching up with friends. The eclipse next weekend ties into this and you may feel an urge to travel or embark on an adventure that allows you to expand your horizons. Domestic arrangements continue to benefit from the presence of Venus, Monday is awesome for attending to a redecoration project. Mars comes into the picture on Tuesday, and you may feel compelled to renovate or even move house if your current situation is not suiting you. There can be a great deal of energy put fourth in the home over the next six weeks, and some rearrangement of priorities will occur if this area has been neglected. Mars infuses energy, but is also the God of Warfare, so if relationships with the family or flatmates has become contentious, there can be ardent emotional exchanges where the air needs to be cleared.

PISCES: Your definitely on the right track financially, and there can be a lucrative upside through work and even a promotion on queue for you. Pay attention to clues on Thursday as very positive energy is stimulated for both work and professional aspirations. Mercury influencing this area suggest a good period for communication or that you may be negotiating for a prestigious position in your chosen field of work. Your ability to articulate what you genuinely value over the upcoming weeks enhances your position considerably. Your social life is also incredibly stimulating and events and excursions will provide pleasure and allow you to make valuable connections. Monday is exquisite for for making an enticing romantic contact with someone. You may discover this person while in the midst of the most routine activity in your day to day life. The upcoming eclipse on Saturday highlights your most intimate life and can be the tipping point in a close relationship or for a pivotal financial agreement. If you have been seeking a loan or other form of outside assistance, this may come through for you now. Someone connected to you through your work lends a helping hand.
