Weekly Forecast 1/20 – 26

Following a demanding but hopefully rewarding Capricorn season, the ambience lightens considerably this week with the ingress of the Sun into Aquarius (Jan. 20) followed by Mercury on the 24th. Matters that have seemed insurmountable now fade into the background, and having crossed the gauntlet, something more interesting and hopefully exciting lies on the other side. As soon Sun crosses into Aquarius, however, an eclipse triggers substantive though not blatantly obvious developments, most likely quite unexpectedly!

Leo Lunar Eclipse!!!

The Leo Lunar eclipse occurs overnight Sunday, January 21st, providing the major punctuation mark for the week, and signaling the culmination of a journey begun during August 2017. Think back to what you undertook during that period, or where your life path may have shifted trajectory, probably in a most  unanticipated direction. More crucial developments that advanced the storyline occurred approximately a year ago, and then over last Summer, and these will also offer clues as to where this is headed. With destiny very much guiding the process there may have been times you felt life was unravelling at your fingertips or that you lacked control, but hopefully in retrospect the circumstances you currently find yourself in have made the tumult of the last 18 months worthwhile!

This particular Lunation is one of the more potent this year, due to it’s close proximity to the Nodal Axis, and activates two highly significant metaphysical images: the 5 of Swords Tarot card as well as the Sabian Symbol for 0’ Leo, “Blood Rushes To A Man’s Head As His Vital Energies Are Mobilized Under The Spur Of Ambition” indicating the push out of the comfort of the womb (Cancer) into a visible, perhaps even public, position where one is called upon to externalize (or from Leo dramatize) something that had been gestating within, symbolized as the birth of ego.

The 5 of Swords governs the first decan of Aquarius, which the Sun enters mere hours before the eclipse, and signifies relinquishing the fear of defeat, to confront and accept one’s fear in order to let it go. It’s likely that fear is bound to doubt that a successful expression of ego (or personal creativity) is even possible. The axis of your chart affected from Aquarius – Leo points to where this inhibition lies (0’ Aquarius) with the Eclipse (0’ Leo) pushing you towards a destined outcome through which you must confront this aspect of yourself and find a way to integrate courage and conviction. Consider events that occurred around Halloween of last year, when the North Node transited the eclipse degree. Was there something you were thinking of trying to initiate, and what made you hesitate?

Fixed Star Altair is in close proximity as well, from 1’ 46” Aquarius, which when combined with the Sun is described as “…a bold and determined individual… to have a high regard for independent and decisive action…” (1) thus amplifying the themes of bravery that resonate during this compelling Lunation. By relinquishing fear, the eagle can take flight, leading on to “public honor, notoriety and favor from superiors… great and sudden yet ephemeral wealth…” (2).

Very positive aspects this week facilitate the best possible outcomes. Venus links with Jupiter in optimistic and expansive Sagittarius, and both are on the receiving end of the pioneering initiative of Mars in Aries. Following the eclipse late Sunday into early Monday, the Leo Full Moon forms a grand trine to all of these, signaling a bold new frontier is being crossed as all the pieces of the puzzle click into place. By the end of the week, Saturn and Neptune begin to combine from Capricorn to Pisces, stimulating the potential to bring a dream into reality, an obtuse fantasy into focus. This influence prevails through February 10th, with the closest alignment occurring right at the turn of the month.

You may find yourself running hot and cold this week. Romantic and creative prospects look fantastic, but obstacles that feel insurmountable at the same time. You are trying on and trying out new ways of doing things, and this has the most apparent affect on your most private and personal life. Be conscientious about evasive behavior in the early days of the week, the ambience is ripe for serious misunderstandings to occur. You still benefit from a behind the scenes approach, and if someone is working against you this will likely come to the surface over the coming weeks. Recharging your batteries is crucial, next month places you front and center.

GEMINI May 21 – June 20

A partnership continues to stimulate passion and pleasure. A loved one, even if at some distance, provides you with enduring happiness. Be wary at the beginning of the week, though, as something too good to be true likely is. If expectations get the better of you, you may confront a disappointment. Mid week could see you feeling a bit squirrelly, climbing up the walls with boredom or anxiety. From there you are far more in your element, curiosity is aroused and you find yourself in compelling company.

CANCER June 21 – July 22

Some of the friction in a key relationship begins to absolve, and attention now turns to financial matters, with a stark emphasis between yours – theirs – ours seeking resolution. Had you been waiting for the word on a loan, settlement or grant, negotiations likely culminate over the coming weeks. Be particularly attuned to developments in the early part of the week, as this is an advantageous time during which to break a bad habit regarding spending and saving.

LEO July 23 – August 22

Something comes home for you in a big way this week, Leo. A vision you have had for your life and worked towards for many Moons comes to head over the Eclipse in your sign this weekend as you put the finishing touches on something very close to your heart. It is possible a relationship that has been in and out of frame also culminates during this or the coming weeks. Whether a door opens or closes, know that fate is guiding you to the the right person, place and thing, however it might feel right now.

VIRGO August 23 – September 22

This is a really effective period in which to let go of bad habits and feelings of unworthiness or self doubt. An exorcism is possible through which you may finally relinquish debilitating insecurities that have hindered your ability to claim the life you want and deserve. In order to do this you have to acknowledge your perceived imperfections and accept yourself exactly the way you are, and either do something about it or choose to be ok with it. True love lies on the other side of the rainbow, if you still believe.

LIBRA September 23 – October 23

Love affairs have no doubt brought their share of sparkle and surprise, especially over the last year, and one final eclipse illuminating this part of your chart brings a new development – perhaps the realization that you are possibly oh-so-over-it. What ever occurs over the next month (February 4th begins a whole new chapter), has a “meant to be” air about it. You are still seeking substance, and a place to put down your roots, as recent realizations may have compelled dramatic turns of events. It gets easier over the turn of the month to find a place to call home.

SCORPIO October 24 – November 21

Dynamic culminations occur for your professionally and financially in this phase, your willingness to put in the extra hours shines fortuitously, earning you a favorable reputation. An agreement or negotiation you enter into has the potential to put a creative venture into motion between now and February 10th. Instincts and intuition are strong around this one and tempering any sense of urgency with a pragmatic and patient approach can get you very far and closer to your dreams than you ever imagined.

SAGITTARIUS  Nov 22 – Dec 21

Some of the financial tensions ease off this week, making for a more amenable ambience for you socially. You have to potential to release bad habits around your earnings and assets which will make you more productive over time. Exciting ideas are culminating between you and your crew, or perhaps a romance is taking off in a big way. A tendency towards over indulgence can definitely overwhelm your sense of proportion, and it serves you to be wary what’s on offer in the earlier part of the week.

CAPRICORN December 22 – January 19

Some friction still seems inevitable, but remaining philosophical and open hearted in this fertile phase serves you well and promotes a positive outcome for your most cherished ideas or a creative endeavor. Neptune working with your ruler Saturn encourages a more gentle approach to life while enhancing your intuition considerably. You instinctually understand what is, and what is not, worth fighting for. A culminating moment during the Leo Eclipse brings a joint financial or relationship matter to a stunning conclusion.

AQUARIUS January 20 – February 18

You begin to come out of your winter hibernation, just in time for some exciting social and/or relationship developments on tap, particularly during the Leo Eclipse this weekend. A partnership that may have been in and out of frame over the past 6 – 12 – 18 months is ready to stage up or come to it’s conclusion. The hands of fate are all over this one, and events around last Halloween were likely telling. Regardless the outcome, if a door closes or one opens, know you are headed in a righteous and appropriate direction.

PISCES February 19 – March 20

Professionally this is a dynamite period of growth for you, particularly if you remain conscientious about how honestly and authentically you represent yourself at this time. Any effort on your behalf to obfuscate your identity (regardless of the motives to do so) will backfire and pity the fool who tries to deceive you. You have far better prospects where you are able to demonstrate your maturity or by connecting with those from whom you might gain wisdom. You have the potential for self-mastery during this fertile and fruitful period.

Stargazer Weekly Forecast 1/13 – 19

PRACTICAL THINKING

Mercury from Capricorn makes incredibly productive aspects this week, setting a business endeavor on track and enhancing all negotiations. Look at the 13th, 15th and 19th for the most significant developments. Mid week is especially crucial, as Mercury transits the degree of the recent Capricorn Eclipse (January 5th) and an enterprise is discussed in critical detail. Something emerges from Tuesday into Wednesday that enables forward movement on whatever was initiated last weekend. The eclipse opened a portal of potential and this week Mercury will articulate the goals and how to accomplish them.

Some of this is going to be super harsh and demanding since Saturn and Pluto are involved. It could be time to pay the piper! At it’s best, while the current climate is severe, it provides an opportunity to resolve serious long range issues by confronting them head on. An important objective can also be clarified. A detached disposition is helpful here, as well as a willingness to sacrifice what is inessential. Neptune sends in a gentle and compassionate love light and some inspiration that softens the intensity of other developments.

Venus and Mars collaborate from Sagittarius to Aries, so there is an exciting, sexy and enticing ambience underscoring everything else that transpires this week. Imagination, creativity and a sense of adventure – especially where you have never dared to tread – feature largely in these stars. This is obviously occurring in stark contrast to the Mercury vibes, perhaps the negotiation that is materializing is in order to make a fun project or relationship viable.

Jupiter enters it’s retrograde shadow degree at 14’ Sagittarius this week, and will retrace these steps between now and early November. From now to April 10th, (when the retrograde begins,) the opportunity exists to make a lot of progress, then revise as necessary through the Summer. With this process framed by the Jupiter – Neptune square, inspiration is a guiding light, though there could be some form of deception underscoring an endeavor. Tread carefully and stay strong this week! ✊🏽

WEEKLY HOROSCOPES:

ARIES March 20 – April 19

You feel passionate, motivated even, though career matters command a lot of your attention and appraisal this week. It’s a great time to make a plan (and stick to it!) while communication is focused on your future. Some steps will be retraced through the Summer, but for the time being you have the potential to build your reputation and upgrade your professional position. Love is on your mind. Reach out and touch someone, even if they are far, far away.

TAURUS April 20 – May 20

You are likely planning for the future, and very much aware of the sacrifices or hard work ahead of you required to get there. This is a good week for planning and thinking through an objective that will get you on track. Meanwhile, your inner workings and most private experiences offer insights that enable you to release debilitating habits or beliefs that have been stifling your effectiveness. A close partner is likely the catalyst for this realization.

GEMINI May 21 – June 20

The social life is dynamic and stimulating, and a partnership seems to be going especially well. Finding someone who shares your hopes and dreams is possible now. Potential is high from this week into next. At the same time, some serious financial appraisals are likely now, particularly where you may rely upon the resources of another. A commitment of some sort is being made, just make sure you can live with what you agree to, as these are binding and definite.

CANCER June 21 – July 22

You may address some heavy topics within your partnership this week, and it’s possible an understanding or accord is reached. An early version of a negotiation gets scrapped for something bigger and better. Something is sacrificed along the way. Professionally this is a brilliant period, and this week into next provide your best potential in a decade to realize a work or career dream that fills your daily life with excitement and creativity.

LEO July 23 – August 22

Romance and creativity are highlighted, and especially where someone or something might take you to a distant place you will discover exquisite pleasures. Things could be a bit more hard going at work, as there could be conflicts with colleagues, clients or the boss. An assignment you are given could be incredibly detailed if not outright difficult. You get through this by tapping into the inner resources of imagination and enjoying the spicy recreational aspects love is offering you this week.

VIRGO August 23 – September 22

You are in the process of making a serious commitment where love is concerned. On the other hand if you are looking around and you find yourself alone, it could be time to accept you need to make some changes. On a more personal level this is a very satisfying time and this into next week could see you making substantive progress in your domestic life, perhaps moving or even purchasing a house. Those most familiar to you provide incredible comfort.

LIBRA September 23 – October 23

Domestic reorganization is required, though you can make exceptional progress on longstanding issues if you confront reality and let go of the past. Whatever was is no longer, and this crucial understanding is the way out of an endemic situation. The love light is burning bright and could actually provide the inspiration to make certain changes. From this week into next, you have some of the best prospects in a decade to establish an incredible partnership.

SCORPIO October 24 – November 21

A critical negotiation or contract is in frame this week, and you are likely nailing down the details on this one throughout the week. Something of remarkable significance comes to fruition over the first week of next month, this is the time to handle the details. A financial/professional upswing also holds positive potential and cues this week are only a fragment of what is in store leading into next week’s dynamic eclipse, driving home the ambitions you have nurtured over the last year and a half.

SAGITTARIUS  Nov 22 – Dec 21

It’s a phenomenal week for your most personal visions to come to life and fruition, a trend that continues right through next week’s brilliant Lunar Eclipse in Leo. A cherished wish is about to be granted. More concerning are critical financial matters and you might have to face the music where your resources are concerned. Consulting an advisor can be very useful here. In any regard, an important discussion or handling routine paperwork is a requirement this week.

CAPRICORN December 22 – January 19

You are busy making sure your voice is heard in important negotiations this week, though maintaining a sense of humor keeps things from getting too heavy and benefits your position immeasurably. Events mid week in particular accelerate a narrative you have attempted to put into motion since the Jan. 5 eclipse in your sign. These will get locked down in early February, keep at it. Personal life is stimulating and provides immense satisfaction.

AQUARIUS January 20 – February 18

You are dealing with critical matters (and messages) from behind the scenes. Your intuition is off the charts sensitized and it will be easier than ever to read between the lines. Socially this is a highly fruitful period and from this week into next, coalescing into the Full Moon Leo Eclipse next week, which could significantly change your relationship status. A resolution to the events of the prior year and a half come to closure.

PISCES February 19 – March 20

You have the professional advantage from this week into next as developments, particularly financial ones, give you an edge towards career advancement. You are in the midst of an important agreement with a group or collaborators. Conversations have serious overtones, but this is appropriate since agreements made now will be long lasting and shape the future in big ways. You can weigh your options for now, but by the first week of February, something is written in stone.

Weekly Forecast

THE HERE AND NOW – CAPRICORN SOLAR ECLIPSE

Uranus stations direct at 28’ 36” Aries on the 6th, just following a Partial Solar Eclipse at 15’ Capricorn, which lies right between Saturn and Pluto. Events over the weekend portend dramatic changes, but also signal a requirement to create order out of chaos. Something is put into motion at this time that will culminate in mid July, during the Capricorn Lunar Eclipse, which is in close conjunction to Pluto, as well. Sun conjunct Pluto on Thursday will hold the cathartic themes of the eclipse up throughout the week, a thread that began on New Year’s Day when Sun conjuncted Saturn. Powerful activations and urgency towards complete transformation occurs.

To succeed in this phase, grit and determination are required to work towards an important goal (associated with the area of your chart Capricorn rules). Any superfluous elements of one’s life will have to be released now to carry out an agenda that supports the future growth that will be realized at the end of the year, when another eclipse in the sign conjuncts Jupiter, assuring success where the work has been made in order to manifest something of genuine significance. Comfort may have to be sacrificed temporarily as a desire to gain power and mastery over some aspect of life becomes overwhelming.

Saturn conjunct the January 5th eclipse degree over the first 10 days of February puts in the bricks and mortar on the event or enterprise that transpires at the time of the eclipse. The opportunities extended and choices made are long term contracts, and very difficult to break out of should you have a change of heart. At the same time, commitments are made from a genuine place and will offer stability for the duration, just make sure you can live with what you agree to during this critical period.

Venus enters Sagittarius early in the week, amplifying the fire element, generating a more playful and optimistic ambience. Finally out of Scorpio, a transit that began last September, the atmosphere is open making for more fruitful exchanges. An Aries Moon transit next weekend ushers in fresh new energy, stimulating the prowess of the imagination, urging Venus, Mars and Jupiter to come up with a better solution, perhaps to what Capricorn has in mind. Mercury in Capricorn requires a practical approach towards dealing with the issues at hand, and squares off with Mars mid week. This is contentious within itself, and can indicate argumentation and extreme mental tension and frustration.

As the closing square in the Mercury – Mars cycle, this ties back to an agenda initiated back around September 16th, 2017, (6’ Virgo) which now enters a period of culmination and conclusion. To the extent this has been a successful enterprise, you may now reap a harvest of some sort, otherwise this transit likely triggers a desire to either abandon this project or take swift and decisive action to actualize the original plan. A new directive is established in mid June from 19’ Cancer, when the cycle renews in close conjunction to the North Node.

Jupiter square Neptune (14’ Sagittarius/Pisces) midweek brings a whole other dynamic into the frame, most likely attaching to some form of escapism, which while enticing, is probably the worst possible route to take right now. (More analysis on this aspect appears on the 2019 forecast.) The current atmosphere holds challenges, but also stimulates an incredibly productive period in which to make progress on long standing issues. By next weekend, shifts will occur that enable more pleasurable experiences. For now, heed the call to action that is required of you to make substantive and lasting changes in the here and now.

WEEKLY HOROSCOPES:

ARIES March 20 – April 19

You are like a bear cub coming out of hibernation, aroused to the new possibilities that lie before you and exuding a wiley and provocative energy. Up front, you have professional matters to attend to. What arises now is set into stone next month, though if you have been working towards this outcome for a long while, you are likely to be happy with the results. Watch your words mid week, you could easily offend precisely the people you need to help you up the ladder of success. The Moon in your sign from next weekend gets your mojo back on track, while the later days of the week may be a bit more subdued.

TAURUS April 20 – May 20

You continue a period of gestation and metamorphosis over the coming weeks (and year) particularly with your ruling planet nestling into your area of transformation from Monday. A meaningful conversation with a close friend, spouse or partner early in the week stimulates a healing process, and from there you likely seek some private time for inner exploration. Future objectives are also prominent and between now and mid February, you can refine an idea and see it take off when Mars enters your sign on Valentines Day. Saturday’s eclipse points you in the right direction.

GEMINI May 21 – June 20

Partnership may take on hues of magical serendipity, or is it in your head? It’s possible a relationship can take you to the next level in your career, but tread carefully as things may not exactly be what they seem. Later in the month and into early February you stand to make gains professionally, and the eclipse on the 5th holds clues as to what this means for you. Outside assistance (financial or otherwise) plays a substantial role in your success story. Indications on the 10th are also significant, and you may be putting something big into motion around this time involving joint finance or making an investment.

CANCER June 21 – July 22

Your key relationships continue to be prominent, with Saturday’s Solar Eclipse providing a watershed moment and stimulating rapid developments, perhaps a destined meeting. Mercury’s transit enhances this by augmenting open lines of communication over the next three weeks. A business merger can be sorted now, though a highly contentious vibration mid week can put you at odds with someone you associate with professionally. Work prospects continue to thrive and opportunities for assignments that have a creative touch, or potentially working from home offer prosperity. Health also gets a boost and a new wellness program can be highly successful over the coming month.

LEO July 23 – August 22

Pleasurable influences continue to flow and there is fantastic potential for meeting appealing individuals and within your creative or artistic endeavors. Work, health and productivity are of equal significance, with the Solar Eclipse providing an opportunity to get a contract for a long term assignment on solid footing. Negotiations play out through early February. If a health matter has been difficult to pin down, you are determined to get to the bottom of it now. Equally, if someone whom you work with has been difficult, there could be a confrontational moment that shifts the dynamics of the relationship.

VIRGO August 23 – September 22

Dual influences preside, though first and foremost your love life seems to be in focus, as the eclipse on Saturday opens the door to a romantic alliance that radiates with hues of destiny. You may learn of a pregnancy or otherwise be “birthing” a creative project over the next six months. Intimate and personal matters get a boost from Venus and domestic issues fall to the wayside replaced by harmonious conditions in your residence. This is a good month to attend to an early Spring cleaning, and a redecoration project or general sprucing up of your house of flat will go well now. Decorative pieces in deep purple can restore harmonious conditions to your house or flat.

LIBRA September 23 – October 23

Things get moving in your love life after several months of hiatus or indecision. Social life is bustling with energy and your perfect match can come flying out of the woodwork quite unexpectedly. Day to day exchanges are pleasurable, and a night class or creative project can provide mutual enjoyment. Personal and residential matters also require major attention, and deep feelings are likely aroused over the weekend. It’s time to take control of your circumstances and release programming attached to your past and family in particular. Do what suits you best, even if you need to cut a few corners in the meanwhile to make it happen.

SCORPIO October 24 – November 21

Venus leaves your sign after an extended transit that began last September. Despite what ever good fortune you may have encountered as a result, you are likely pleased to get your edge back. Financial prosperity comes into view now, with several very advantageous prospects on tap over the coming month. The Eclipse on Saturday highlights your voice, written and spoken word. The efforts of the past year you have made to gain influence regarding a matter connected to learning, communication or broadcasting your message will suddenly shift forward. A project you begin now (or by mid February) has long term implications. Thursday also offers a significant development.

SAGITTARIUS  Nov 22 – Dec 21

Saturday’s eclipse could be a financial reckoning for you. It’s time to get back to basics and cut out expenses that are not serving your long term best interest. Thursday is a great day to make a plan you can stick to. If you have been looking to boost your resources or revenue, the next three weeks are ideal for holding the negotiations that will offer prosperity. Venus in your sign from the beginning of the week sweetens the deal, making you feel light hearted and drawing favorable influences to you. Watch matters with a family member or in regard to your house or flat. There could be a plumbing issue you overlook, which could cost you in the future.

CAPRICORN December 22 – January 19

Mercury transits your sign for the next three weeks, ensuring communication is effective and that you are clearly stating your goals and establishing your agenda for the year. Mid week could be a bit cantankerous, there could be a confrontation of some sort, particularly with a family member or in your domestic scene. Liberation is brewing on the home front. By March you’ll see the difference. An eclipse in your sign this weekend, the first of three this year, sets an important personal agenda into motion. You lock in the details early next month. This is a real pivot, you relinquish the past and are moving forward with incredible assurance.

AQUARIUS January 20 – February 18

The tone shifts considerably this week, and after many months that emphasized your profession and reputation, a more amenable social ambience prevails. A lot continues to percolate behind the scenes meanwhile, and you’ll likely require periods of solitude to reflect or meditate on highly personal matters. The Eclipse on Saturday holds major indications for this, with another significant development and breakthrough on queue Thursday. Let caution prevail in all financial dealings over the coming weeks, as a beguiling Neptune influence signals deceptive influences may be at work.

PISCES February 19 – March 20

Venus from Scorpio trines Chiron in your sign, stimulating incredibly pleasurable awareness of how far you have come since late September. Self acceptance has played a critical role in this and has enabled healing and the release of significant pain. From Monday your public profile and reputation are favorably enhanced over the coming month, though be wary of coming off too smug, as any gains you make here can disappear just as swiftly if you seem too full of yourself. Inspiration is a guiding force when you overcome the ego gratification of success, and positive outcomes are assured if you stay in the here and now. Socially this is a vibrant time, you connect with passionate and influential people.

Palpable changes are noticeable from Day 1, with Mars having moved into Aries on New Years Eve, infusing the atmosphere with a fiery ambience unknown to the zodiac since mid March 2018, when Mars left Sagittarius. Mars is finally at home, and from Aries can direct itself into the kinds of activities it genuinely desires, and with an enthusiasm and energy level it has been deprived of for several months. Venus in Sagittarius joins Jupiter from January 7th, further amplifying the fire element, opening up to new experiences and frontiers.

~GRAND FIRE TRINE ~

fire trine

From the 17th – 22nd, Venus, Mars and Jupiter are in lock step, as Venus conjuncts Jupiter and Mars trines both from Aries, with a Leo Moon filling out the Grand Fire trine. Excitement is palpable in the New Year, and January calls for action and initiative, the outward expression of affection, all of which is guided by optimism for a highly positive outcome. Spring comes early this year.

Underscoring all this is the first of three squares that will be formed between Jupiter and Neptune on the 13th, plus or minus 3 days on either side. This one is more beguiling, adding confusion, but also inspiration into the mix. The issue here is getting duped, especially with all the enthusiasm the Fire Trine is generating. It’s easy to see what you want to see and not what’s really there and get carried away by extremes. It could also be a passing fancy, like a day dream, so tap the vision, as intuition yields some very esoteric insights, just remind yourself constantly it’s fantasy and illusion viewed through the opaque filter of Neptune.

Anchoring all of this simultaneously is a Capricorn stellium including Sun, Mercury, Saturn and Pluto, which makes it highly unlikely anything will get taken too far off course. The Capricorn Solar Eclipse on the 6th will set the tone – conjuncting Saturn and Pluto – for the year. The current astrology indicates a conflict between the hot Fire element and cold Capricorn planets, but there’s also a balance here. At it’s best this can be a very productive atmosphere where passion (Fire) has the tools (Earth) to turn an idea or inspiration into something tangible.

Mercury will be quite critical in this phase, conjuncting both Saturn then Pluto. Moving into Aquarius on the 24th, joining the Sun, which enters on the 20th, the tone lightens considerably. The ambience over the last week of the month is incredibly future focused. Sun and Mercury conjunct on the 28th, and new objectives may be formed. What is put into motion at this time will be the predominant theme in day to day activities through May 21st, when the next Sun – Mercury cycle begins. A unique and innovative approach guides the movement of the next four months. Technology or innovation likely holds a significant role in enterprises that are started now.

Mid month is advantageous for nurturing these contacts. Be wary of over idealizing your situation, especially within a partnership. An eclipse on the 6th could remind you just how much you love someone, or pull a new contender into your orbit.

LIBRA September 23 – October 23

A relationship intensifies this month, particularly from the 17th to 22nd, you might meet someone in the most casual of settings, or a have wonderful conversation with someone to whom you are already connected. A gentler atmosphere prevails following the darker more sensitized mood that has carried over since last fall, lightening your perspective.  Domestic matters could be a bit more contentious, especially around the 10th or 20th. An eclipse on the 6th sends a signal that it’s time to take flight.

SCORPIO October 24 – November 21

A promotion could be in the works for you, one with a very lucrative upturn for you where you are willing to put in the work. It looks as though you enjoy what you are doing immensely, so this should not present and issue. Good fortune shines from mid month and especially on the 22nd. Action taken on a professional objective pays off this Summer. An emphasis towards where and how you live comes in towards the end of the month. A very valuable conversation on the 28th opens a new door.

SAGITTARIUS  Nov 22 – Dec 21

What an exciting month you have in store! Impulsive Mars enters your area of True Romance, recreation and pleasure, linking up with lovely Venus and lucky Jupiter in your sign. Can it get any better? The only mistake would be to think that things will remain this way indefinitely, make the most of opportunities you have. There is a financial accent, and you could be on the receiving end of not so stellar news. An eclipse on the 6th is a highly defining moment. Make cuts where they need to be made.

CAPRICORN December 22 – January 19

While it suits you to remain strong in your convictions and use the forces at hand to achieve your ends, coming off too obstinate won’t sit so well with others, and you could lose the assistance and moral support of those who are more than willing to help you. A strong emphasis on your personal sphere, perhaps even a contentious energy at home, may see you reconsidering your domestic commitments. The Jan. 6 eclipse is cathartic, and after years of waiting, everything changes all at once.

AQUARIUS January 20 – February 18

This is going to be a lively period for you socially, and even if you still have a case of the bah humbugs, mid month is exceptional for getting out there to mix and mingle with new people. While in the midst of your day to day you could strike up a fascinating love connection. Attached Aquarius should make an effort to make a small trip with their sweetheart. Meanwhile much transpires behind the scenes and the 6th could dredge up a lot of memories. Take some time for yourself.

PISCES February 19 – March 20

You’re after it big time this month Pisces, working towards a big dream and making huge strides in your profession. It could be you have large expenditures, subsidizing your own company expenses or starting a business right now, but these pay off soon enough. By mid month and particularly around the 22nd you could see swift results for your endeavors. The later weeks of January turn the gaze inward, and an insight on the 28th could trigger a spiritual revelation.

2019 OVERVIEW:

There are several differences between 2018 and 2019, most notably last year was about modification and closure as demonstrated by the processes expressed by Venus and Mars retrograde. New beginnings are featured more prominently this year, as circumstances that were merely tentative in 2018 are now beginning to take root. Uranus tested out Taurus, but went back to Aries, needing one more jolt of energy in preparation to carry out the mission that lie ahead. Uranus will find the tasks of Taurus slow going, which is not really it’s style, but is willing to take on if these are predicated on a personal initiative. From March 6th, the deal is sealed with Uranus remaining in Taurus through April 2026. Chiron tried out Aries on the other hand, but probably found the ambience a bit to scalding, and not yet ready to embrace it’s healing propensity in such an intensified and dynamic environment, retreated to the cooling waters of Pisces. Chiron will take up residence in Aries from February 18th through 2027.

All retrogrades represent unfinished business in the areas in which they occur, especially when they straddle two separate signs. The lesson of the previous sign hasn’t fully been integrated yet and through this lens Venus had more to learn about equanimity before it could embrace the passion and depth of Scorpio, while Mars required a better strategy before it could innovate an agenda and move it forward, and went back to the drawing board in Capricorn in order to come up with one. This year, having assimilated the lessons of the past, progress is made and gaining traction comes far more easily.

Another set of influences will be of extreme significance this year: the aspects of Jupiter square Neptune and of Saturn sextile Neptune. It’s an interesting change of guard, as last year saw the trine of Jupiter to Neptune and two years ago prior (2016) the square between Saturn to Neptune. Now there is a convergence, with slow moving, inspirational Neptune continuing to be the pivot upon which the current storylines intersect. Jupiter square Neptune has a way of potentially bringing out the worst characteristics of both planets, with Jupiter exacerbating Neptune’s fantasy (or delusion) to ever greater proportion, while Neptune convinces Jupiter it’s way out of reach ideas are actually tenable. Put that way, maybe it’s not the worst thing ever? Nonetheless, there is the potential to utterly over estimate a situation, project, individual or group and meet with utter disappointment when inflated expectations fall flat.

Saturn meanwhile is combining productively with Neptune, and enables the possibility of bringing a visionary matter into reality. This can’t undo the above testimony completely, but does amplify the probability of something very special coming into being this year, as these three collaborate. It’s also notable that all three planets are in the signs of their natural rulership, and thus most effective in their expression. In order to make this work, Saturn will shrewdly cut off some of the excesses Jupiter will likely throw into the mix.

What is most fascinating about the process at work now is the timing, as these aspects occur simultaneously. The first set occurs in January when Jupiter squares Neptune during the second week of the month. Over the last 10 days of January, Saturn makes the first sextile to Neptune, likely to organize and consolidate whatever was initiated a few weeks earlier. The second set occurs in tandem precisely from June 15th, though the duration is slightly different, the Jupiter transit is shorter, with Neptune going retrograde on June 22nd.

This kind of synchronicity is rarely seen, and points to something really astonishing taking place in 2019. During the June transit, Jupiter and Saturn are retrograde, and a result has been achieved, but reassessing the situation is crucial at this point. Maybe something didn’t completely work out the first time but it’s worth another go or a change of plan? The final word comes down in the Fall, with Jupiter square Neptune in late September and Saturn putting in the final girders in the second week of November. It’s a process that lasts all year, but yields an extraordinary outcome. Food for thought, anyway….

MERCURY RETROGRADE CYCLES

The Mercury retrograde cycles in 2019 impact the Water signs, so expect your Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces friends (or if you are one of these signs) to be a bit more squirrly this year. If not a water sign yourself, look at the Water trinity in your chart and be aware that these areas (which tend to feed into one another) could be the cause for delays and vexations. Also keep in mind that these are your learning houses for the year. You simply have some lessons and tools to hone associated with the themes of the trine where it lands in your chart. If houses 1 – 5 – 9 are involved, you will be more personally impacted. Self expression will undergo substantial experimentation and reorganization. Houses 2 – 6 – 10 impact money, work and profession. Your career and status undergoes change but attention paid to these lessons will yield success in the end. Houses 3 – 7 – 11 affect community life and you will likely lose and gain new social contacts. People from the past reappear this year. With houses 4 – 8 – 12 hosting the retrograde, psychological and personal issues are center stage. Expect to be withdrawn for periods over the year while you attend to private matters.

Mercury retrograde dates occur in March (Pisces), July – August (Cancer), and November (Scorpio).

OTHER NOTABLES:

MARS CONJUNCT URANUS February 13th

Mars meets up with Uranus just one more time before Uranus bids adieu, the last of such conjunctions that occur from Aries for 80 years. You get one more shot at something you have tried to begin, innovate or liberate yourself from since April 2011 (the first Mars – Uranus conjunction in Aries), or even May 2010 (the initial ingress of Uranus into Aries), so take your chance, roll your dice and make the thing happen. Look to to position of 29’ Aries in your chart – this is where you are positioned to see an explosive or unexpected development.

VENUS CONJUNCT MARS August 25th

As this cycle renews, love contracts can either be established, or a fresh period for those seeking contact opens the door to the possibility for a new connection. Having shed the detritus of the previous cycle (which began October 5th, 2017) the learnings, particularly those during the prior retrograde cycles of both planets in 2018, are revealed opening the heart to thrilling new experiences. The house placement reveals where you will most likely find someone who can bring such a relationship into your life, or if coupled, the tone and themes of the partnership for the next two years. 4’ Virgo is featured and is the area of your chart effected.

JUPITER TRINE URANUS December 13 (3’ Cap/Taurus)

On the surface, this would be an explosive and expansive aspect, but formed between Earth signs has a far more muted quality. The material world and financial markets are influenced in particular, with several people making positive strides in their earnings and savings over this period. This aspect only occurs once, so make the most of it. Innovative methods of generating revenue are featured and technological advances are the most likely route by which this will occur.

ECLIPSE CYCLE – THE NODAL AXIS

The Nodal Axis rests on Cancer (North Node) and Capricorn (South Node). The evolutionary directive to be developed between now and July 2020 involves nurturing creativity, attending to the more personal aspects of life, usually represented by the home and development of ones’ soul. South Node in Capricorn indicates debilitation to attempting to over-structure one’s existence. Cancer is free flowing, and lives in the moment, whereas Capricorn seeks to strategize and build something up slowly and deliberately.

Currently, success will more likely be found through acting through intuition and emotion rather than trying to plan everything out and stick to a rigid agenda. Major transits in Capricorn include Pluto to South Node in the first week of April, Saturn to South Node over the first two weeks of July, and Jupiter to South Node in the early part of January 2020. As the South Node works on these planets, it strips them of elements of their nature that are no longer effective or relevant, not the most comfortable process, but essential to growth.

The Eclipses act as the trigger for these developments, and pushes towards rapid, if unexpected, evolutionary advancement. During eclipse periods life changes swiftly, sometimes as thought thee carpet is being pulled out from under you, leaving you adrift momentarily while the course is adjusted to the appropriate direction you are meant to be traveling. These can represent periods of crisis, but in hindsight were necessary, as you find yourself in the right place at the right time a ways down the road.

Four eclipses punctuate 2019, the first falling on January 6th, a Solar Eclipse (New Moon) in Capricorn. This particular eclipse features conjunctions to Saturn and Pluto, making it quite stark – a moment of reckoning and catharsis. Neptune is in favorable alinement, hopefully softening the ambience through compassionate awareness. The second is a Total Lunar Eclipse (Full Moon) in Leo on January 22nd. This closes the book on the prominent themes that have been in development since May 2017. A culmination occurs within the major undertakings that have been worked towards since that time.

The second set of eclipses occurs 6 months later – a Total Solar Eclipse occurs in Cancer on July 2nd, which has no major aspects. On July 16th, a Partial Lunar Eclipse occurs in Capricorn in very tight conjunction to Pluto, stimulating another powerhouse moment for transformation. A final Solar Eclipse in Capricorn on December 26th conjuncts Jupiter, generating a highly beneficial ambience within matters that have otherwise been concerning. There is likely some kind of good fortune that emerges for hard work undertaken over the prior two years.

During these rather dynamic periods, there can be a tendency to over respond, or try to take control of a situation and put things back in order. Really these are “Let go and let God” moments, and you are best advised to absolve yourself from feelings of responsibility you may experience to guide the outcome of the events that are occurring around you.

In moments of stress or disorientation, go into yourself and find your center, releasing any sense of urgency you might be feeling. The only thing you ultimately have control over is yourself. Let it go.

2019

2019 HOROSCOPE BY SIGN:

ARIES March 20 – April 19

You begin the year in a powerhouse fashion – Mars in your sign arouses your pioneer spirit and you feel prepared to take on the world again. Strong alinements in January to Jupiter from Venus and Mars in your sign set you up for success over the coming year. There are potent career developments in 2019, but success will only come if you can relinquish outmoded ideas about your profession. A meaningful reconsideration transpires between May and September. One path comes to an end, but a new one will open up soon enough. Events in late December reveal a brilliant new opportunity for you. Late April into May is another significant time for Aries when your creativity guides an exciting outcome.

Uranus departs your sign in March, taking the edge off. You feel more focused. June provides challenges as your domestic circumstances undergo drastic reorganization. Enjoy creativity, a love affair or a leisurely trip in late July as Mars and Jupiter combine effortlessly to create pure pleasure. Partnership is highlighted in the second half of September, though there will be some obstacles present if you seek to make a long term commitment. Mercury retrogrades impact your personal life. You will find a periodic need to withdraw in order to deal with family or private matters. This is a positive year in which to seek therapy if you have considered it in the past. Meditation will also provide a productive outlet for your imagination and help you define things too esoteric to put into words.

Make the most of this year and opportunities it brings your way. There are a few skirmishes, but in the end you will prevail. Next year features a 6 month transit of Mars through your sign (due to the next retrograde phase approaching in September 2020,) as well as the highly beneficial transit of Jupiter in your 10th house of career and profession. Use 2019 to sort out your domestic situation so you can operate from a place of comfort and stability. Disorder in this area will reduce your effectiveness, and you stand to make extraordinary gains in the near future.

TAURUS April 20 – May 20

With Uranus in your sign from March, you feel more willing to experiment though this will not likely feel pleasurable initially. By the end of the year you are more likely to have settled into the new order, between now and then the learning curve is a bit steep. Eclipses emphasize the axis of here versus there, and currently the best things are found close to home, the people in your neighborhood and the conversations you have in passing as you go through your day to day routines. Mars in your sign from mid February gets your motor going on a personal project, a trend that lasts through the end of March.

Investments and shared resources, particularly agreements you enter into with friends need to be regarded with the utmost scrutiny. If someone shows up with some pie in the sky scheme, walk away. These are highly unlikely to deliver as presented and the prospect of failure highly outweighs that of potential success. Venus in your sign from mid May highlights pleasure, and you’ll be quite content in your own skin or sharing your time with a lover. Late July into August features a charged home environment, a lot is going on in your residence, perhaps you are renovating or redecorating. September is highly satisfying, a creative project or love relationship is thoroughly enjoyable. From mid month a work assignment commands your attention, but features an artistic dimension that appeals to you.

Autumn months bring your key committed relationships into focus, though a Mercury retrograde phase in November could find you reconsidering these, or connecting with people from the past in order to tie up loose ends. The second half and into December the atmosphere is both contentious and passionate between you and your better half, or if seeking a partnership, you likely become quite adamant. December 4th holds an enticing development, and travel with your spouse or lover will provide you with memories to cherish.

GEMINI May 21 – June 20

There are strong financial influences this year, and while you are guided to do your best to earn your own keep it looks as though you also benefit from or are relying upon the resources of someone else. You will find the support of another, particularly an intimate partner, goes far in enabling you to reach your professional objectives. Generous Jupiter resides in your house of partnership, and if you have not yet connected with your heart mate, you will likely discover someone who will open your life to compelling new experiences and expand your horizons, while those attached can expect the same within their current relationship.

Things get off to a great start in January, when enticing angles from Venus and Mars in Aries connect with Jupiter, indicating a you share your dreams and hopes with this person, or finding someone with partnership potential through a group of friends, perhaps at a social event or even online. Mars in your sign through April into May invigorates you to pursue personal goals while also adding some spicy passion to the mix. Someone is highly attracted to your wit and intellect, and this person fits like a glove. You seek to share affection with someone who reflects your ideals.

The issue here is one of perception, as the Jupiter – Neptune squares can equally indicate you are being swept off your feet by an idealized vision of someone rather than the reality of a situation. Any relationship you have now likely requires there be a fantasy element to it, just be certain this is a fantasy you are sharing with your partner and not to yourself. If you can manage this, a love relationship can really take off from mid September through October, when Venus and Mars activate your sector of True Romance. November 23rd is perfect for a wedding or commitment ceremony.

CANCER June 21 – July 22

You are in one the most dynamic phases you are likely to experience in nearly a 20 year period right now, with the North Node activating incredible growth for you – even if it’s not incredibly comfortable in the present moment, you will likely look back on yourself in a year or two and barely recognize the person you currently are today. The eclipse cycles that occur in January and July will be the most potent for transformation, offering developments, particularly in your closest relationships, that change the trajectory of your life completely.

Pluto is deeply entwined in the narrative of the eclipses associated with your partner (Capricorn) on January 6th and July 16th. (The energy of the eclipses resonates far beyond those dates.) This indicates that big changes are taking place in your relationships, that there could be a power struggle, or you could be getting much, much closer, practically merging souls. (Pluto rules the area of pleasure and romance in your chart, so it’s likely the intensity you are experiencing is actually quite appealing.) Another way through is the Saturn – Neptune sextile, which harmonizes you and your spouse through travel, a shared academic or broadcasting endeavor. Something you have dreamed of and yearned for can be actualized through a formal commitment, though it might not even be a romantic relationship, but someone who you simply partner with to achieve something of significance.

You are at your most powerful over the Summer, when dual transits of Venus and Mars affect your sign. Mars in Cancer May 16 – July 1 will not be the most comfortable period for you, but will give you the courage and conviction to pursue your aims with determination and passion. The Mercury retrograde period during July occurs in your sign. You may have to stand down momentarily and reconsider your approach. A fortuitously timed transit of Venus, also in Cancer, could just see you relaxing after a hard working period, taking a Summer siesta. Decembers’ Solar Eclipse in Capricorn (partnership house) conjuncts Jupiter, ushering in a wonderful period of growth and expansion for both of you.

LEO July 23 – August 22

You likely feel the edge has come off since the end of last year and feel more in charge of your destiny with the Nodes out of your sign. It’s great timing with Jupiter from Sagittarius inspiring incredible growth for you this year, perhaps through creative activities, sports and recreation or even a new child. The year begins on a high note with the exciting passage of Mars through Aries, which could see you on the road having a grand adventure. Exciting aspects made mid January indicate that love lies on a distant horizon and it’s likely you are traveling with your spouse or lover or have an enticing experience while abroad.

From mid February, professional matters are emphasized while Mars transits the area of your chart connected to reputation and your public persona. This is further highlighted long term when Uranus moves into this part of your chart in early March. Over the coming years, you will seek a more independent or innovate approach in your profession, perhaps going into business for yourself. Events in December will likely enable this to happen, between now and then you will be experimenting and exploring your options.

The transit of Mars through your sign from July into August will give you the passion and conviction to pursue your goals. Your powers of persuasion are enhanced when Venus joins in through August. Use caution July 11th, when you could come into conflict with an authority figure, even the law. July 25th, on the other hand, spells out a great opportunity. November 23rd also desires a big fat star, when Venus combines with Jupiter in your love and pleasure sector, a once in 12 years event. Events in December – Jupiter trine Uranus and the Capricorn Eclipse on the 26th – can grant you the autonomy you seek in your career. The choices and work you take on from March onwards will grant you incredible success at this time.

VIRGO August 23 – September 22

Fresh winds are blowing Virgo, although it could take you a moment to adjust to them, and a great deal of excitement, as well as a very significant love relationship, are in store for you during 2019. Saturn and Neptune collaborate between your areas of romance and serious relationships throughout the year, enabling you to make a commitment now that taps into the romantic vision you have held for years regarding true love. The harsh disappointments you have likely experienced, and particularly the events that occurred in 2016, are long behind you. It’s time to move forward, and the eclipses on January 6th, July 16th and December 26th could all produce fated occurrences.

Someone you rely upon for money could be giving you trouble at the onset of the year, but this is a feature that by March will no longer present an issue. Uranus in Taurus will give you an upbeat vibration and make you less rigid in the way in which you deal with the world. Early Virgo experiences this first, but by 2026 all of you will be *tapped* by this electrifying and liberating force. You likely feel like trying things differently, and express yourself new ways. From late August all the way through September you are extraordinarily powerful, and can go after your goals with extraordinary conviction. The dates of September 9th and 11th are especially potent for reaching out to your dreams and making them come true.

As a Virgo you are particularly susceptible to the retrograde phases of Mercury and in 2019 these strongly affect your social life and connections. The retrograde period in March will have a specific affect on your close relationship and could bring someone from the past back into your orbit. March 17th and 20th in particular may find you reconsidering a prior choice. Stationing on Neptune, Mercury is conjunct this delicate point for close to two weeks. Let intuition guide you. A dream or de ja vous experience may inspire you to seek out a lost love to see if you can rekindle the spark. The eclipse on December 26th seals the deal on love. With Jupiter now in your house of pleasure, love can really take off now!

LIBRA September 23 – October 23

The first few months of the year bring heat and intensity to a new or existing relationship. Particularly around February 13th, an unanticipated and electrifying connection could be made that completely astonishes you. To the extent you have been seeking freedom over the past several years, you may unexpectedly break off a commitment in order to pursue your objectives independently. From March, this up/down and back and fourth climate dissipates and you experience a more settled quality in your love life. Late April into May is the best period in which to establish a love relationship, with special punctuation marks occurring on the 5th of April and October 15th. Mid September through early October is also very favorable.

Professional matters are likely to consume the majority of your time and attention in 2019. If over the past few years you have felt you sacrificed yourself in order to maintain domestic peace and personal relationships, you’ll likely decide this is the year you want to dedicate yourself to getting ahead in some way, either reaching towards a career milestone or a personal goal. The eclipses on January 22nd and July 2nd hold the potential to flip the script for you, a huge development could send you on a whole new trajectory in a flash. Your family or those closest to you may not be thrilled about these developments and attempt to block you, but you have to make up your mind for yourself here and chose to take the opportunities extended while they are there, and swiftly.

Your profile is rising from mid May through July, though there is a competitive atmosphere in your profession, you rise to the occasion by remaining upbeat and maintaining a sense of humor. Mercury retrograde between July 20 – August 1 could feature a detour. In August you celebrate a victory with friends. The Autumn belongs to you anyway, but this year especially with Mars transiting your sign from October 4 – November 19th. Be wary of vanity, regardless how successful you have been this year, as it won’t come off favorably. Media in particular can be a really positive and profitable enterprise for you. Your ideas are met with favor with January and July being stand out months for incredible growth. Working with others offers the most beneficial outcome.

SCORPIO October 24 – November 21

It’s not the most harmonious year overall, as a very rambunctious and fiery atmosphere will test you, though you will find these challenges can be overcome and will help you to develop into a more well rounded person. What this leads you to are very positive financial and professional indications, and success is assured if you stay the course. Personal relationships are enhanced meanwhile, and a love relationship that has been elusive (perhaps for several years,) may finally stabilize. You’ll have to navigate a circuitous path, but will eventually reach an important milestone in your love life. Pay close attention to dreams in late March and early April as they will reveal your hearts’ true desire.

Uranus in Taurus will have it’s own say in this, and someone you meet, (or perhaps already know,)  sends electrifying currents through you that keep you up all night, intoxicated with excitement. This can also have a highly destabilizing quality and relationships can spark up and smoke out quickly. You got a taste of this last year, but from March, this will be an ongoing feature of your chart for many years. For a relationship to last, it needs to remain vital and offer a degree of freedom. This will come down to trust, and for Scorpio, this kind of loose connection could make it difficult to muster. Neptune also plays a role, as the romantic vision you have sought after gets anchored by Saturn. It’s possible by the end of the year to have something very special, though unusual, (by normal standards,) occur in your love life.

The year begins in a hard working phase. You are likely compensated for your efforts, which sweetens the deal, but don’t lose sight of the bigger picture and get seduced by dollars and cents. Choose assignments that will elevate your status and bring you closer to your true aspirations. It pays off later. If you manage, July and August see you in high demand as your profile rises. You have to guard your reputation well over the first couple weeks of July as Mercury retrogrades. There could be a detour or bad press, so keep your ambitious activities under wraps for the time being. August returns you to favor and by November 23rd, you’ll see your ships come in.

SAGITTARIUS  Nov 22 – Dec 21

This could easily go down as one of your best years on record, or at least in a long while, with not only Jupiter in your sign, but several positive Mars fire sign transits amplifying your potential for growth and success. One caveat, however, (of course) with Jupiter square Neptune there is the potential to undo what could be a lot of good for you. This would come in the shape of allowing your life to devolve into one of the 1960’s drug party scenes from Absolutely Fabulous, if you get the picture. Funny to watch, not so much the reality of out-patient treatment. Don’t get blindsided by temptations. You got this Sag, I believe in you!

The year gets off to a great start, as a tense and introspective period quickly gives way to a bold and rambunctious transit of Mars in Aries. Venus arrives in your sign on the 7th, making January a highly satisfying and pleasurable period for you. Perhaps someone special has caught your eye and you are in the midst of a highly enticing love affair. Creativity is also stimulated and mid month features a chain of aspects between Venus – Mars – Jupiter that can only be described as SPECTACULAR!!! If you are still looking to come out of your shell and find someone to play with, Mars and Uranus have a really special surprise for you on February 13th.

July and August are also incredible, though Jupiter will be retrograde through August 11th, from there it’s smooth sailing, especially if you are traveling or involved in academia or publishing. July 25th is stunning, as is August 9th. You can make a great impression on people at a distance. November 23rd is one of the best days of the whole year, as Venus and Jupiter link up in your sign, make a wish, because it will come true. You deserve it! 2020 features a significant financial influence, so use this one to enjoy yourself as much as possible and live your hearts desire. Your personal life also will require some attention this year during the Mercury retrograde phases.

CAPRICORN December 22 – January 19

The way you think and the words you use are highlighted this year, as will be your spouse or a committed relationship. The hands of destiny are guiding you, and what might seem at times as raw bad luck is truly meant to bring you to your higher purpose and quite possibly the love of your life. Saturn as your ruler is making a significant aspect to Neptune throughout the year, and a book, podcast, music or video project you’ve been angling to get off the ground can finally see the light of day. Forget the past and what may have felt like failure. Everything you know now is a result of that process. It’s time to get inspired again and move forward.

Saturn is also chasing Pluto in your sign, but will retrograde on April 30th, just 3 degrees shy of reaching the conjunction, which will have to wait until January 5th, 2020. When these two obstinate forces meet, there will be a palpable shift in global consciousness which you have the unique potential to have a very personal effect upon. This depends on you, your involvement in your community (or ability to reach a broad audience) where you see the future of humanity headed, and only of course if you choose to. Capricorn holds a lot of power now, the power to steer the ship, and that is a lot of responsibility to bear. Guess what though? You are the only one capable of doing so, and the world needs you right now. South Node will force you to shed some baggage, and eliminate what is unessential (assuming Pluto left anything,) but for this too, you have plenty of strength to handle.

This doesn’t mean you don’t get to have a personal life, and you’ll find your relationship, or interest in relationships, is growing. Fate is playing a role in the matter and particularly in January and July (though it can happen anytime) a connection that radiates with an aura of destiny could emerge and shake up your life completely. Coupled with the electrifying transit of Uranus in the area of True Romance starting in March, your romantic life is full of exciting surprises. Finally, if you have been seeking to move or change a residential situation in order to have more independence, an incredible development on February 13th could be your ticket out of Dodge.

AQUARIUS January 20 – February 18

Following the quagmire you lived through in 2018, this one is easy breezy, featuring some really great moments with friends and in relationships, your social life is buzzy and exciting. You’ll notice a palpable difference from day one, as the pace of day to day life becomes more brisk. If you have been more withdrawn over the prior weeks, you will get a huge boost of energy to get out there again, perhaps take a course or start a writing project. Curiosity will be aroused. A string of aspects mid month is very stimulating. Take invitations and attend events. You’ll meet some interesting people and maybe even spark a fun flirtation. A chance meeting around February 13th could provide you with a short lived but highly provocative experience.

From March your ruling planet will enter Taurus, which is a slow going sign and not really a comfortable placement for you. It’s likely you’ll seek to transform your living situation in some way and to eradicate yourself from a circumstance that has become stagnant, possibly leaving your home, city or even country. Towards the end of the year you will get a strong intuition about this and will likely be ready to make a big move. April into May is your creative peak, and the spoken or written word holds particular appeal. A theater presentation (even if you are only attending) can be very pleasurable and open you up to new perspectives you may have not considered. Think twice about romantic relationships you might enter into during the last week of April. All that glitters…

A strong relationship emphasis comes in during July and August, with really sparkling moments between you and a potential or existing partner on July 25th and August 9th. This person shares your ideals and this connection will be a signifiant feature of the attraction. The July 31st New Moon is a major punctuation mark. Professionally things take off in October, though a Mercury retrograde period one the first 3 weeks of November could curtail your agenda temporarily. Mars gives you the passion and confidence to pursue your goals wholeheartedly through New Years.

PISCES February 19 – March 20

The eclipses influence your social life, though you are just as likely to see certain relationships you have outgrown come to an end at this time. It’s more likely a new love relationship develops, perhaps quite suddenly and unexpectedly, with fated connotations that stimulate a sense of destiny. Other Pisces will become pregnant and others will “birth” incredible creative projects this year. From mid May through the end of July, you reach your highest potential for such endeavors, with the July 2nd eclipse providing a major punctuation mark. June 13th and July 18th are also exceptional for art, romance and pleasure.

Jupiter is amplifying your desire to succeed, at least on your own terms, and it’s also possible to turn a few dreams into reality in 2019. The outcome of this will come down to remaining realistic about your own abilities and to avoid at all cost getting conned out of money to pay advisors, coaches and other “gurus” who promise the world by inflating your expectations, but ultimately can’t make you feel confident if you can’t find confidence within yourself. You don’t need to spend thousands to go on a spiritual retreat to be spiritual, either. Simply find a quiet place and pray or meditate. Saturn is highly instrumental here, as you’ll be feeling more down to earth (if not a little pinned down) and taking things methodically, one step at a time.

From May an intriguing transit begins, one that will stimulate you to seek freedom, on your own terms, while also arousing an unbridled desire for sexual liberation. This endures beyond the end of the year into early next Spring, but peaks in the second half of June. Daily life is also set to become more interesting, and curiosity will have you asking questions and perhaps taking a course or starting a new project. A comic book, podcast, video project or writing could be satisfying and reveal dimensions of your creativity you did not expect.

Weekly Forecast 11/25 – 12/1

WEEKLY FORECAST:
Powerful developments occur this week, with some really great news coming in over the first few days that can propel life forward in unforeseen ways. Despite the vexations of Mercury retrograde, it’s backwards trajectory provides a highly fortuitous circumstance to develop. The triple conjunction of Sun – Mercury and Jupiter in Sagittarius from Monday into Tuesday offers a glimpse of what the future has to offer, and ensures that confidence, optimism and imagination are steering the ship over the coming year. A conversation around these dates sets the stage fortuitously, and though some details need to get ironed out first, a very positive outcome precipitates on December 17th, when Mercury retransmits this degree. (Coupled with other really constructive aspects around the same date, there is the potential for far reaching success on the horizon!) Look to the placement of 3-4’ Sagittarius in your chart to examine where this beneficial energy will personally touch your life.

Mars will sextile Saturn on Tuesday as well, generating a more stable undercurrent and advancing an agenda that was set into motion on or around April 26th, during the conjunction phase at 21’ Capricorn. Where progress on this endeavor has likely stagnated (due to the Mars retro phase over the Summer,) there are signals that something is moving forward and this is a fruitful date to make an effort on behalf of this enterprise.

Venus opposes Uranus while both square the Nodal Axis on Friday. Where Venus has been expressing uncertainty regarding an alliance, there could be a sudden change of heart or a swift decision that transforms circumstances unexpectedly. Someone from the past may reemerge out of the blue, and if so it’s likely this circumstance still requires karmic release before you can reorient yourself to the future. It might even just be something or someone is on your mind, and if so, this is a signal that it’s time to accept a chapter has ended, particularly if a sense of nostalgia is present.

Mercury re-enters Scorpio at the end of the week, and thought becomes submerged in the realms of emotions and psyche. Through December 12th, an inner dialogue occurs through which you will likely seek to understand your motivations and the hidden or taboo elements of a situation. Meditation and the mystical arts are positive conduits for self awareness and healing (Mercury trine Chiron in Pisces). Intuition and empathy are also stimulated, and if you are particularly sensitized, this is an appropriate time to withdraw and regroup until you feel prepared to act with greater conviction.

Weekly Forecast 11/18 – 24

WEEKLY FORECAST:
While not the biggest week on record for aspects, an incredibly volatile Full Moon in Gemini at the end of the week more than makes up for it. A t-square involving Gemini – Moon opposite Sagittarius -Sun/Jupiter squares Mars in Pisces stimulating a lot of mutable (adaptive) energy and likely creating a sense of disorientation or even crisis. Underscored by Mercury retrograde, the ruler of the Full Moon, an extra layer of complexity emerges during critical culminations in this phase. Those with chart factors in early degrees of mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces) will feel this most intensely, as they will be aspected at this time. Since adjustments to the recent change of guard – Mars/Pisces and Jupiter/Sagittarius are still being made, this can all come on quite suddenly.

Mercury had angled Neptune as it stationed retrograde, making an almost perfect, but not quite exact square, which will finally culminate on December 24th. This could come out as a desire to understand or reveal something illusory, but something inside isn’t quite ready to confront it just yet. Neptune resumes direct motion next Saturday, having been retrograde since mid June. Here you will begin to see progress in the area Neptune rules in your chart by house as well as the area being transited (13’ Pisces). For what it is worth, the apparent backwards trajectory of Mercury will put it touch with Jupiter two more times – again next week and then on December 24th. Large scale endeavors seek escalation, and by the end of the year there is the potential to put something in motion connected to media, higher education or exploration.

Mars square Jupiter on Monday provides a jump start for this endeavor, though from Pisces, energy is muted, and the undercurrent is a bit unusual. Still, you can use this to check into a source of inspiration. Likely there is a development in a story line that began in early January, and events around this time are likely to remind you that while the trajectory on this one may have been a bit convoluted (Mars retrograde), that you were on a path towards something, even if the objective or destination has been altered substantially. Mars/Aries and Jupiter/Sagittarius will combine more effortlessly towards the end of January next year, and depending on how well you navigate a sudden and potentially bewildering turn of events this week, your efforts are likely to pay off well in about two months time.

temperance

Sun moves into Sagittarius on Thursday, bringing more emphasis to the fire element, stimulating inspiration and enthusiasm. With Mercury and Venus both respectively moving back towards Scorpio in December, this won’t last for too long, so enjoy the sense of regeneration and confidence that precipitates over the coming weeks. The Sun will meet Jupiter next week, beginning a new cycle of optimism, enthusiasm and expansion at 4’ Sagittarius, opening the door to adventure and new horizons. If things get a bit dicey this week, hang in there! Take it a day at a time. Much more is in store on the other side.

A love relationship can culminate this week, but the Full Moon also points to several adjustments required to get this one off the ground. There is the potential here for a real breakthrough, but also for a situation to implode unexpectedly. A change of heart is possible when Mercury goes direct. A financial matter resurfaces from next weekend onward. A source of income comes back into play.

PISCES February 19 – March 20

Career maters become emphasized and people who can help you succeed tend to see you in a very positive light. A personal or residential matter is highlighted over the Full Moon phase, and your living situation could require drastic reorganization. Neptune direct from next Saturday puts you back in the zone, you feel more comfortable expressing your innate talents. Enjoy!

Weekly Forecast 11/11 – 17

RELEASING CONSTRAITS

WEEKLY FORECAST:
Despite the next Mercury retrograde cycle looming largely in the forecast this week, there are some positive indications in the mix with progress on some fronts due. By then end of the week, Mars moves into Pisces, after a prolonged period spent in Aquarius due to the recent retrograde. The following day, Venus will go direct from 25’ Libra, with both events stimulating positive changes for the protagonists of a love story that has very much been a work in progress since October of last year. More harmonious conditions prevail under these auspices, and where the heart has been uncertain, between now and January, accord can be reached in key commitments, particularly from mid December, when a string of helpful aspects between Venus – Scorpio and Mars – Pisces strengthens the emotional bond between partners immeasurably.

Mars from Pisces is not it’s strongest placement, as the forceful nature of Mars is muted and rather difficult to express. This makes the rest of the year more ideal for reflection and release, and meditation and other practices that enhance a connection to the metaphysical world will enhance the spiritual realm and enable emotions to flourish. From New Year it’s all systems forward, with a huge thrust of energy when Mars moves into Aries, connecting with Jupiter in Sagittarius and Uranus (back in Aries) in January – February 2019. For the time being, space clearing is essential to preparing for what awaits next year. This is a season of resolution, precipitating a season of revolution.

Sun sextile Pluto (Sunday) and Mars sextile Uranus (Thursday) both hold the potential for progress. These aspects denote the final phases of storylines (to continue on that theme of closure,) to prepare for the new cycles – Sun/Pluto renews on January 10th (20’ Capricorn), Mars/Uranus on February 12th (29’ Aries) of next year. These are game changing aspects, although the effects can be somewhat subtle. Sun and Pluto invigorate a desire to transform ones self, in order to influence circumstances or a particular outcome. This ties back to something initiated in early in January, when the current cycle began. There is passion and conviction at your disposal to release yourself from a troubling issue, and something you have dedicated to yourself this year finally reveals it’s promise. A person or habit that has held you back in some way can be relinquished easily at this time.

Mars and Uranus collaborating points to an innovative breakthrough, or finding a new way to do something that offers a solution to a problem that has been persistent since mid May. Where you have sought independence (Uranus in Aries,) you may discover the escape hatch. People are more willing to comply (or even assist) with your efforts this week. This aspect occurs about 12 hours before Mars leaves Aquarius on Thursday, a sort of a last hurrah after a long period of tinkering behind the scenes on a project or within an association meant to offer you greater independence to do things the way you choose to. This could accelerate suddenly and unexpectedly after months of vexing uncertainty. The current Mars/Uranus cycle began in March of 2017, so anticipate the resolution of what emerged in that period and prepare for the exciting new cycle that begins in February.

The troubling bit over the next few weeks is of course the Mercury retrograde cycle, which commences on Friday. This is exacerbated by a long square aspect made to Neptune between the 14th and 20th of this month. It’s a very tricky few days during which the boundaries of fact and fiction are blurred. On one hand, there is creative potential here, as perception is skewed just enough to see things in a way that transcends reality, the imaginative realm is highly stimulated and great art can come out of this. Not so much for communication, relationships and most certainly business matters, however, as the thought process is muddled and confusion reigns supreme. What emerges during this transit has the potential to reveal where a delusion has occurred, and this can point to a disappointment, though the positive response would be recognition where work has to take place to bring a dream or vision into reality. Over the next 3 weeks this will be attended to, with a final culminating event occurring on December 24th that sets a matter to rest.

WEEKLY HOROSCOPES:

ARIES March 20 – April 19

You gain traction professionally in the early part of the week, stay focused on the prize and be willing to make changes as necessary. Relational matters begin to be settled from the end of the week, and a reconciliation is possible where reversals may have occurred over the last few months. Meanwhile, you turn inward and take a more reflective stance through the end of the year as attention turns away from social dynamics that have predominated for most of the year and you start to consider where you really want to go next. From December onward you will have much more clarity about this, for the time being examining all your options is advised.

TAURUS April 20 – May 20

Your ruling planet begins to return to form, signaling a period that may have been debilitating for your self image or esteem is on the road to reconciliation. Much of this comes from the inner reflection that has occurred over the last several weeks, and returning to your values where they may have been abandoned in the interest of keeping the peace. The timing is good, as you enter a more socially motivated phase and can join forces with like minded people to achieve your aspirations. Knowing what you can offer or bring to the equation enhances your prospects to connect with individuals or an organization that benefits you.

GEMINI May 21 – June 20

There is the potential to reconcile a romantic relationship that had derailed or sidetracked recently, though it’s likely you will still second guess yourself (or perhaps the other person is still questioning,) curtailing a commitment to be made for a few more weeks. For the time being, you may find it more appealing to seek pleasure within, and pursue personal hobbies or creative activities that provide an outlet for self expression. Your life direction may also be in question, and it could be that your inability to chart a certain course is hindering an association to take root. From December this becomes more clear, and you start to get indications beginning towards the end of the week of the shape your future is taking, likely taking on some more responsibilities to arrive there.

CANCER June 21 – July 22

There could be a significant development in a personal relationship early in the week. You arrive at a decision to make a substantive change within your commitments and see immediate transformation. Mars from Pisces encourages you to embrace the future, charging your sense of excitement to broaden your scope of activities and reach out further that you have previously gone. Work commitments or health issues could hinder the progress you seek at the same time, and something requires drastic reorganization between now and the first week of December. Renew your perspective on how you handle your daily affairs and from there, you can take flight.

LEO July 23 – August 22

The Sun continues to activate your root base with developments early in the week set to transform conditions in some way. A personal relationship is also highlighted and there could be unanticipated, but welcome, changes to your status on Thursday. Mixed signals arrive from Friday, and a situation with someone you care about mutates in strange ways over the coming weeks. You may even resurrect a prior love connection to see if there is still any juicy romantic sparks left in there. Maybe, maybe not, and it’s likely the jury is out on this one until at least mid December, so take it slow! Mars moves into the area of your chart that influences intimacy and deep, soul contract relationships. A period of inner transformation lasts through New Year.

VIRGO August 23 – September 22

Things are about to get intense in your closest alliances for better or worse from the end of the week. Mars has the capability to bring incredible passion to your alliance, but equally conflict if you or the person sitting on the other side of the scales does not feel they are getting their fair due in a one on one relationship. If single, this period could bring urgency to finding a mate. Domestic matters will preoccupy you over the coming weeks, and likely some degree of upheaval is due on the home front while circumstances go through reconsideration and metamorphosis. You seem to have to resolve an outstanding issue to open the door to the commitment you desire. A sense of frustration at the end of the week regarding this should point you to where a solution is required.

LIBRA September 23 – October 23

Feelings of uncertainty or insecurity begin to dissipate over the coming weeks, following a period of crucial reappraisal of your identity and life direction. Personal matters, and what is required of you to resolve an endemic issue on the home front becomes crystal clear in the early part of the week. Make a plan to move this forward during the first month of the new year. Your productivity spikes through December, providing you with a fortuitous period in which to pursue professional goals. The hard work you commit to now pays off next Summer in a major promotion. A breakthrough in a relationship or through a new acquaintance can be exciting Thursday.

SCORPIO October 24 – November 21

You get a second chance to reorganize your financials over the next few weeks, and a big opportunity en route can inspire a major success story if you give it time. Getting this sorted enables you to achieve a long range goal associated with a creative project or to begin a new, or new chapter in a love relationship that has been difficult to get off the ground. Pay attention to feelings or tension around this subject at the end of the week for clues. Where you sense a limitation is exactly where you need to go to find resolution. By December you are golden.

SAGITTARIUS Nov 22 – Dec 21

An elongated transit of Mercury in your sign (through January 5, woah!) makes life brisk and exciting. Many events and meetings with people fill your days through the end of the year. The retrograde period can pull people from your past back into your orbit, and through these contacts you may come to realize personal traits you have outgrown, or otherwise rediscover aspects of yourself you would like to reactivate. Meanwhile, Mars moves into your root base, activating a desire to attend to personal or domestic matters, perhaps as a matter of necessity as this transit can stimulate strife or conflict at your residence. If nothing else, expect a lot of activity to be taking place at home, perhaps hosting guests or renovating your space.

CAPRICORN December 22 – January 19

Sun from Scorpio continues to generate a productive ambience to achieve your aspirations, and especially where you collaborate with others, you are likely to meet with success. Venus direct at the end of the week extends a second chance or new opportunity to enhance your reputation and make positive strides in your professional life. Advancement is likely now, following a period of reappraisal of the where, how, and what of your life direction over the past six weeks. Mercury meanwhile could lead you on a trip down memory road and matters pertaining to the past require resolution over the coming weeks. If people from the past show up now, settle the unfinished business between you once and for all.

AQUARIUS January 20 – February 18

Mars finally leaves your sign towards the final days of the week, taking some of the heat and intensity off you directly and placing more emphasis on the financial aspects that require attention. This could get a little tangled in the later days of the week, where the bubble bursts on a much desired outcome involving your earnings or savings. An oversight or unanticipated expense could prove concerning. Thursday is particularly exciting and a conversation or meeting will be stimulating. You see how far you have come this year and are ready to embark on a new chapter. Reconnecting with people from your past seems to feature meanwhile, and there could be a reunion on the cards for you between now and December.

PISCES February 19 – March 20

After a long year of indescribable complexity if not confusion, Pisces is ready to enter the building. Having shed a lot of skin since May, you feel a sense of rebirth precipitating. From Thursday, when Mars enters your sign, you are emboldened and impassioned to make big moves, and over the next year stand to make incredible strides in your profession. First it seems you need to untangle a matter associated with your self image, and this will be incredibly pointed at the end of the week when Mercury retrogrades against Neptune in your sign. Your potency is hindered by a lack of clarity regarding how you represent yourself and between now and Yule you will be charged to figure this one out to make the most of the positive professional auspices available to you.

Stargazer November Forecast

CHANGING STATIONS

There are palpable shifts in the atmosphere this month as longstanding transits come complete, marshaling in a new order of energetic awareness. Quite significantly, and possibly the most obvious in the immediate sense is that Mars will finally leave Aquarius for Pisces on the 15th. Having remained mainly in Aquarius since mid May, and transiting a mere 10 degrees of the zodiac between May and early October, due to a retrograde cycle holding pattern, the Pisces transit offers something very different than what was consistent throughout most of 2018, most notably bringing a rich, flowing energy within the realm of feelings, far removed from the more intellectual preoccupations of Mars – Aquarius. This transit lasts through the final day of the year, when the new cycle begins at 0’ Aries. For six weeks, it’s time to withdraw somewhat and shift consciousness into the emotional space and sensations within. Drawing towards the end of the 2 year cycle, it’s also potent for release and closure of occurrences now past.

Mars connects to the degree of the Aquarius Solar Eclipse that occurred on February 15th, triggering the potential for the developments that haven’t/couldn’t fully come to fruition since, again – because of the retro cycle of Mars. Events that occur around the 11th and 12th of November resonate with the intentions of that eclipse (look at 27’ Aquarius in your chart for the particular space where this happens). Something that began to unfold in the February period, a door that opened up for you and offered liberation in some aspect of your life, can now be walked through. Aquarius is off beat, and the best way to do this is to find your own way to do it. Explore an unconventional method or avenue and remain open minded about this topic as it likely yields surprising developments or results around these critical dates.

By the time this transit occurs, the Nodal Axis will have shifted from Leo/Aquarius to Cancer/Capricorn. This occurs on the 6th of November and will play out through early May, 2020. The evolutionary objective shifts towards cultivating a more nurturing and supportive atmosphere, and the house in your chart or area being transited is where you will find your root base and feel most at home or develop a sort of extended family or tribe. It could literally translate into building a home, particularly if NN passes through your 4th, 8th or possibly 12th house. The Cancer Eclipse on July 13th provided indications of what was in store.

Jupiter moves into Sagittarius on the 8th, beginning a transit that will last through the beginning of December in a years time. Jupiter is at home in Sagittarius, and from this new viewpoint can express its capacity for benevolence and expansion to the fullest. At its worst it can be a pugnacious placement, as a single minded or narrow viewpoint attached to religious doctrine and the like generates a perspective unwilling to see or understand the perspectives of others. Sagittarius is the opposite of Gemini, who essentially occupies the multiverse of perspectives and granular bits (or bytes) of information.

Overall, it should be a positive and successful placement for many, and will infuse this area of your zodiac with optimism for better outcomes in the aftermath of the recent passage of Saturn, offering the potential for regrowth and rebirth of what may have been lost, sacrificed or at least harder to come by in prior years. Structure and disciple in this area is now replaced with ease and abundance, or more likely, facing reality and doing hard work in this area now reveals the bounty and fruition of the crop you carefully attended between September 2015 and last December.

Venus retrograde/direct and the Mercury retrograde transits will be explored in greater detail on the weekly blog. Have a great month! Subscribe on Patreon for extended readings!

ARIES March 20 – April 19

A period of transition comes to an end mid month, a loved one may return to the fold after a long hiatus or you may settle your feelings once and for all regarding this partnership. A trip or educational pursuit that had been in the works may need to be postponed, mischievous Mercury retrogrades from the 17th and makes it tricky to get on the road. If you do travel, publish, lecture or have media presentations to make that can’t be altered, do check and double check all itineraries and reservations carefully before you go. From the 9th, a highly regarded transit of Jupiter in Sagittarius will offer you incredible optimism and foresight from which you can really derive a personal sense of reward and pleasure. Your world is about to expand. North Node shifts into Cancer, and home and family become a deep pull for you.

TAURUS April 20 – May 20

Venus remains in retrograde motion through mid month, impacting health and productivity matters. You may reconnect with old colleagues or even take a job position you had held previously. This is a great period to address any bad habits or tendencies that may have an adverse impact on your physical energy and well being. The day after Venus resumes direct motion, Mercury shifts backwards, it’s like you can’t win! Mercury will have an impact on shared finances, so if you have debt owed or to collect, this is an appropriate time to settle matters. Jupiter departs Scorpio on the 9th, taking some of that lustre off a key relationship, but shifting into a deeper and more intimate realm. From the 5th Uranus gives you a reprieve, moving back into Aries, giving you till next March to reflect on the numerous changes you have been considering. A Scorpio New Moon on the 15th could signal openings for a love connection to flourish. Very testing influences on the 30th could rock the boat.

GEMINI May 21 – June 20

The road to love continues to be a long and winding one, though you do hit a sweet spot on the 9th and feelings will especially be heightened if you are abroad exploring or sharing a journey together. This to and fro motion continues through early December, you have to learn to just ride the waves for now. Jupiter in Sagittarius from the 9th will bring the right one in. You are protected over the next year, and guiding forces will enhance your connections immeasurably. From the 23rd – 27th you may come to a conclusion, though it is still best to wait until next month to make that move. Where a work promotion may have gone sideways, or a situation didn’t quite come together for you last month a new or better offer could be present around the New Moon on the 7th. The Lunation makes strong and positive connections to Pluto, as well as Neptune in your house of career so there could be themes of glamour and power which tap into your wishes for advancement.

CANCER June 21 – July 22

The New Moon on the 7th stimulates many of the romantic themes of the last year, just as Jupiter bids adieu, having lit up your love life since last October, (hopefully!). Venus direct on the 16th signals a sea change, and second chances are possible next month as a double dip in your house of pleasure finally sets things right between you and a certain someone. Work and home are priority for the time being, as Mercury (soon to be retrograde) and Jupiter collaborate to get you into tip top shape and at your most productive, while bringing a work opportunity your way, silver platter style. (See the 26th for details.) Of course a lot of this gets mucked up because of Mercury retrograde through mid December. An ongoing residential negotiation is also making some noise in the background and this is equally something you won’t see resolution for until next month. Best bet for November is travel (if you can) as distant shores have much to reveal to you and tap your divine inspiration.

LEO July 23 – August 22

There are signals mid month that a domestic matter will be resolved sooner than later, though retrograde Mercury from the 17th promises to complicate matters and draw out agreements and paper work till next month. What can you do? A conversation you have with your spouse or partner does wonders to smooth over any rough edges on the 9th. Jupiter in Sagittarius from the same date fills you with excitement and passion. Your energy is up and you feel revitalized, ready to take on the world. Pleasure, love and the enhancement of your creative potential can be expected over the coming year. Events on the 27th quickly set the tone, by the end of December you’ll be in a phenomenal new groove. Mars in Pisces from mid month until New Years sees you in a more reflective mood. You may wish to keep a low profile, and intimacy can be humbling for you in this period. North Node leaves Leo on the 6th, and a long period of dynamic transition comes to a close. The 27th is especially productive for working behind the scenes.

VIRGO August 23 – September 22

Just as financials get sorted, your residential or personal life goes sideways. A long lost relative or flatmate could show up out of the blue mid month, and you may have to make concessions to accommodate someone or otherwise cope with circumstances that suddenly escalate out of the blue. Jupiter comes to grant blessings to your home base, though it may take a while to see them materialize, (think late December – early January). Look to a conversation or insight on the 27th as an indication of what is to come. From this position, self esteem and a positive feeling of belonging comes into play. Family relationships improve. You’ll have this transit over the coming year and either find comfort in the home you are in, or find something even better that offers you a lot of happiness. From mid month Mars will occupy the relationship zone, turning up the heat, for better or worse! in your close relationships. The Full Moon on the 23rd can see you making changes at work. A huge project comes to closure, or you may be leaving your company or getting a promotion. Bigger opportunities await you next year.

LIBRA September 23 – October 23

Venus backslides into your sign and a period of personal reappraisal seems to be on order. You may just be in an indulgent mood and making up for lost time as a very expansive career phase begins on the 7th. There is a lot of pleasure and good will to be found on the 9th. You can really make up any relational difficulties with your beloved at this time, even if the whole year has been a complete roller coaster, you begin to have more hope that you can work things out. Everything improves dramatically from mid month and you’ll find yourself back on the road to happiness. This is augmented by benefic Jupiter transiting into Sagittarius on the 9th, highlighting communication and daily life, and encouraging you to think and act optimistically. You will likely find your social circle expands at this time and could begin a publication or media project over the coming year. Meanwhile, (uh oh!) that rascal Mercury goes retrograde on the 17th and slows communications and especially negotiations through the first week of December. Look to the 27th for a turning point, something great happens next month, just hang in there.

SCORPIO October 24 – November 21

You plunge into the deep this month, the past beacons and you must confront an unresolved issue buried deep in your psyche. As much as you seek to move forward, your body and soul are calling for rest and for you to make peace with yourself. The 9th is regenerative and hosting a modest soiree from the comfort of home could be exactly what the doctor orders. Better yet if this is romantic in nature, as the ambience is very conducive to quiet intimacy and expressing your deepest feelings right now. Set goals for the year on the 7th, as a New Moon from your sign promises to open the doors to your dreams. From mid month, Mars in Pisces reactivates your inner fire and passion. Venus goes direct simultaneously and you start to feel stirrings of promise again. The edge comes off your professional sphere from the 6th, as North Node moves out of Leo. You hit a high note and can ride the success of the last 18 months for a great while. Jupiter moves into Sagittarius on the 9th, departing your sign and now prepares to bestow gifts of prosperity. Entanglements with contracts and agreements are likely as Mercury goes retrograde on the 17th. Everything comes together brilliantly next month, look to the 27th for a significant development or opportunity.

SAGITTARIUS Nov 22 – Dec 21

Mercury enters your sign, only to pull an about face on the 17th. Despite the very positive influences you will experience with Jupiter present here from the 9th, there is a little sorting to get through in December as some personal issues require resolution before you can take full advantage. Very amenable social – romantic links are possible around the 9th, and sparks could fly if you are in contact with a prior associate. Leave any decisions about the love life until after mid month, when Venus retrograde completes its’ course. Unexpected, but exciting developments take place from the time of the Full Moon on the 23rd through the end of the month that implicate your relationships. A domestic matter requires your attention from mid month. Your personal resurgence is in full effect, take note on the 27th in particular, as you have the force behind you to set goals and accomplish all you wish for. Things swiftly come together in early December when Mercury rights it’s course.

CAPRICORN December 22 – January 19

A very slow Venus stations direct on the 16th, although Mercury goes about face and now retrogrades through early December. This could be an important professional month, where you may get a second chance or can wrap up loose ends with a business matter. The 9th is very dynamic and you can generate positive outcomes now. From the 16th, Mars will stimulate your thinking and day to day life, and there will be many short trips, enjoyable events and activities and much in the way of communication through the end of the year. Jupiter comes to occupy a quiet and more strategic portion of your chart, and you will be reflexive, perhaps doing more behind the scenes over the coming year. You get certain indications around the 27th of what this will entail. North Node moves into Cancer from the 6th, and you may start to get inklings about your key relationship, if you are unattached, this transit could bring a very karmic connection into your orbit.

AQUARIUS January 20 – February 18

A beautiful harmony between Mars from your sign connecting to Venus in Libra peaks on the 9th. A love connection can be developed now and will be especially favorable for you if you are traveling or through your studies. Palpable shifts occur this month, and a lot of the pressure comes off. The high stakes atmosphere present in your relationships over the prior years diminishes when the North Node moves into Cancer on the 6th. You start to have more control, as the hands of destiny are less in charge and you get your mojo back. Jupiter leaves your house of profession, fame and honor, moving into more amenable territory when it ingresses into Sagittarius on the 8th. While Jupiter definitely amplified your opportunities and the scale of your reach, it also makes you stretch, and stretching is work! You’ll enjoy an expansive circle of friends during the upcoming year. Retrograde Uranus slides back into Aries for a last hurrah, taking the edge off of changes you have been experiencing at home. Last but not least, Mars will finally leave your sign on the 15th, and the energy, along with it endemic agitation, dissipates. Mars in Pisces provides you with a far more relaxed atmosphere through the end of the year.

PISCES February 19 – March 20

Reassessment continues in relation to your life direction and future. Despite retrograde activity, which mainly serves to slow things down, the ambience is not terribly difficult. Just anticipate certain matters won’t progress very quickly right now. It’s likely after the 16th you might come to a financial agreement that does support your prospective plans, and a discussion or event on the 9th could set something into motion that precipitates this. You are not advised to sign or commit to a specific arrangements until after the current Mercury retrograde cycle which ends after the first week of December. After months of soul searching and a quest for inner peace, you reach the dynamic and influential transit of Mars in your sign, which lasts through the first days of next year. You feel a sense of closure and seek to move forward swiftly. Jupiter in Sagittarius for the next year beginning on the 8th will protect your interests and enable you to expand your range of influence. This is muddled initially by Mercury retrograde (womp-womp) but by January you will see it was worth the wait. Initial considerations into how you would like to most use this advantageous period should be made on the 26th and 27th. You begin to see exactly how far you can go. (Very, very far.)

ROLLER COASTER OF LOVE

WEEKLY FORECAST:
It’s a week loaded with developments, and likely big changes – all of which have highly fateful connotations. Mercury enters it’s retrograde shadow phase on Monday on a conjunction to Jupiter. Both are trine to Chiron in Pisces and what occurs now establishes a major plot line that culminates in early December, specifically between the 7th and 9th. A conversation or idea triggered in these early days of the week is significant and likely quite emotionally fulfilling. Chiron is ultimately about self acceptance – to be able to say: “yeah I’m wounded, but that doesn’t make me flawed because I accept myself the way I am, even where I hurt”. Jupiter in Scorpio has offered an opportunity to look deep inside and explore fear and power dynamics, specifically where manipulation may have been employed to stay in control of a situation involving someone else, but above all the ability to transcend these by embracing passion and your innate ability to evolve.

As Mercury enters the configuration on Monday, the potential for articulating and understanding this becomes possible. Examine events that occurred in the late February – early March period, since 27’ Pisces is emphasized both now and during the compelling resolution that awaits in December. (This is the degree Pisces was transiting in the February – March timeframe, which is why there could be clues that emerged then.) Over the first two weeks of December this storyline comes back into frame – again the dates from Dec. 7 – 9 should be starred. Mercury will make a long trine to Chiron/Pisces and both will go direct over those dates from 27’ Scorpio/Pisces. This indicates what you put into motion this week has added significance, see how it unfolds for you!

Also at play is the second of three Venus – Uranus oppositions early Wednesday. The atmosphere is additionally intensified as this aspect is flanked by the Nodal Axis, generating a geometrical Fixed Cross. Yikes! Thus, Venus and Uranus are both squaring the Nodes at the same time. Very fated events are transpiring, but are they forward or backward moving? On it’s own, Venus – Uranus indicates volatile but potentially exciting circumstances, and whether these experiences are favorable or not, they will be disruptive! It appears the past and future both play an important role, and some manifestation of prior circumstances or people that emerge now, especially out of the blue, are likely being called up in order to resolve unfinished business in order to move on to the next level. This is more likely to manifest when Venus is direct, and specifically in the first few days of December when Venus transits 0’ degree Scorpio again.

Between now and then, Venus moves through Libra for the whole of November, also beginning on Wednesday. A final opposition of Venus and Uranus (between Libra and Aries) on November 30th also precipitates a decision to stay or go in a relationship. The balance between togetherness and independence, what is shared and what is personal can be explored now. Conditions are more favorable to set boundaries and for partners to come to a mutually satisfying agreement. Alternately, circumstances could conspire to bring about a whole new contact or stage in an ongoing relationship, and it’s the stuff that gets put away (or out of it’s misery?) now that creates the space for such a development to arise. Enjoy the Roller Coaster of Love! And wherever it takes you, whatever you go through this week or over the next month – remind yourself that it all turns out in the end, even if the destination is NOTHING like where you thought it would be.

MERCURY IN SAGITTARIUS: EIGHT OF WANDS

So, speaking of destinations… Mercury moves into Sagittarius on Wednesday as well, where it spends the most of it’s time through January 4, 2019. (Minus that little excursion back into Scorpio in the early part of December since we have some more self acceptance to work out.) This signals the beginning of a convoluted, but incredibly fascinating, last few months of the year. Mercury will reconnect with Jupiter two more times – November 27th (on a conjunction to Sun – Jupiter at 4’ Sagittarius!!!) and again December 21st at 9’ Sagittarius. Here, too, there is a propitious beginning that takes a little longer to manifest, and by the end of the year, seeds planted this week really begin to sprout. Think big and live louder! Gerd Ziegler, in the handbook for Aleister Crowley Tarot, gives the indications: “…clear, direct, swift communications; overcoming misunderstanding… The moment has come for you to define where you stand. If you are open and remain centered, misunderstandings will be cleared.” Affirmation: “My openness and self-confidence opens the hearts of those I Iove.” The path may be convoluted, but maybe it just extends the adventure, so enjoy the twists and turns the best you can!
